Horrible customer service at the metro district office! I have called so many times and emailed for permission to have a patio poured and fence installed and get absolutely no response! We have scheduled contractors to come and do these things to our home but cant go forward until we get an answer!! Im so frustrated! They expect you to get permission yet they dont respond to you! So sad!!!

YES THIS IS A COMPLAINT COPIED DIRECTLY FROM ANOTHER PERSON. TO MY SUPRISE I HAVE THE SAME EXACT ISSUES. WAS LES WAS FIRED OR DID HE QUIT AFTER REALIZING HE COULD NOT STAND BEHIND A FRADULENT COMPANY.It is amazing how this company's actions do not support a professional home builder in anyway. I have a dozen of examples of how Journey Homes cuts corners outside the city inspection codes and guidelines. I have a plumbing issue in the house that I will have to pay out of pocket. I guess Journey Homes is proud to build a home that has plumbing issues (2 years into the home) and washes their hands of this issues, but they can not even live up to their warranty promises. Great example of one way street in promises. Finally, when we did close on the house and drove to the house to enjoy our new home, we were presented a new home that was not even cleaned (construction debris). We spent the ***************** up after this great home builder. The best advice I can offer a family who wants a new home experience is to stay away from this builder. have had a new water leak issue in the master bedroom (leaking to first floor dining room), yes which was past the official warrant date, but since you can't meet your own Warranty Date this list continues until you live up to your promise of the contract. it is a full time job to get anyone to reply of even respond to your requests. They random show up (usually nocommunication)Regarding the Master Bedroom shower leak is just another example of an issue in of cutting corners around the Home inspectors would have never passed code in or can we say. take accountability and send in your plumbing expert & drywall expert and repair this issue in my house and make it look new. 1. Drywall was repaired by the back door, but now it needs to be painted. Plus, the white trim for the back door the nail holes need to be filled in and painted.2. The damaged sliding was not repaired outside on the back patio

The absolute worst people. Sales people are awesome but when trying to do anything warranted they will treat you like garbage. They lie and say they will do things and then run back to their office and sing a different tune. Then later you find out they wont do anything because its out of warranty. Snakes in the grass is a better company name that fully represents their customer service. Terrible to work with and even more terrible to try and get anything resolved. Their team lies and comes up with excuses and schemes on how to get out of doing anything. On top of that they are impossible to get a hold of. Called and left several messages asking for a call back to explain the situation and they never called back. Just sent a letter stating we are out of warranty. Well guess what thats their problem because I brought everything up before warranty was out and their team lied and manipulated the situation for the sole benefit of the company and at the full expense of the homeowner with no remorse. Just a big middle finger. Definitely would not recommend this builder and I am not sure with all the bad reviews how they are rated so high in here. They have a worst reputation than they do good but they are rated at A-? More like D-.

This company is terrible. Little over a year my entire driveway had to be replaced and now my concrete sub floor is all messed up from a house that was built in 2015. There are cracks everywhere and the doors and windows have indication of foundation issues. I reached out to the company to see if they would come take a look at it. No call back just an email saying that my warranty request was denied because it’s been over a year. I didn’t put in a warranty request. Also they fixed my cracked driveway after a year so the email made no sense. Anyone can look at the subfloor and see contractors did a terrible job. I’m left with calling local news and seeking legal advise so more hard working people don’t get taken advantage of.

My home is aesthetically pleasing and I have had some minor warranty work completed. The beginning experience working with Ron and design team was pleasant. However, I have noticed that most of the neighborhood has experienced severe concrete cracking due to inexperienced contractors. I imagine repouring/dismantling porches must cost the company more than if they were to simply use a quality subcontractor in the first place? I'm not a subject matter expert. I submitted my warranty claim for the severe separation of concrete from my porch to porch steps leading down to the side of my driveway in November. I have been told by a representative of the company every month since that "someone will be out to fix it soon." In reality, this has been fulfilled. I truly worry about the foundation of my because it seems that very inexperienced subcontractors are used in the process. The subcontractors are unprofessional and leave cigarette butts and trash strewn across my yard. My neighbors experience the same disrespect. I also witnessed a subcontractor hanging playfully off a cement truck which seems to be a safety/OSHA hazard. Again, not a subject matter expert. At the least, it is unprofessional. My personal feelings aside, I would appreciate it if the company would redeem themselves and fix my porch, but unfortunately they have not. I believe there has been a significant time window for them to have completed this work. At the very least, the company could at least communicate a time frame. I will leave a 2 star review to reflect my dissatisfaction until this issue is resolved.
