      I wanted to refinance my car and paid RefiJet a $1530 down payment on September 5, 2024. The deal fell through on Monday September 9th so I asked for a refund of my down payment. I was told on the 9th my refund would be made immediately. When no refund was received I emailed the agent I had been working with on the 10th and she said the refund would be issued that day. Today is the 11th and I have not received the refund. I want my money returned immediately or I will contact a lawyer and pursue further legal action.

      On Aug 17, 2024, I started receiving emails from RefiJet. I ignored as I had no interest in the company. On Aug 23, my ex-husband told me I may be getting a call from RefiJet as he was refinancing his car. They called before I even finished reading the text. RefiJet said they needed my driver's license to complete his refinance. I was hesitant to give it based on my ex-husband making ignorant decisions with money and accounts in the past. My attorney told me I didn't have to provide it legally. RefiJet threatened to file contempt charges on me. The agent, *****, was rude, demanding and condescending on the phone, never explaining why he needed it. He told me I was lying several times about what I was seeing when I logged into their website (it said there was a lease agreement and I was a co-applicant). I sent him photos of what I saw and then his story changed. I had him delete those things. I told him that there was no need for my license because the title and bill of sale had listed x** OR x** (not and). He again yelled at me and demanded I provide my license. My attorney spoke with ***** and felt this was an ok thing to provide at that point. As soon as I sent it to him, I started getting emails about signing the papers for the final steps of my refinance. I believe my name is being put on paperwork for the car refinance for my ex-husband despite being told it wasn't.

      I was called from refi jet from a representative named ***************************** on July 25th 2024, to refinance my truck. He was nice, but very pushy for me to apply for a loan. He told me that there we a few lenders that worked with fair credit. I was very hesitant because I didn't want inquiries on my credit. He was very pushy for me to apply. He said I had alot of equity in my truck, and that would really help. I didn't hear anything for a couple days. I called back and he said I got denied from the first company. I didn't want my credit run alot. He said they don't count if it involves the same reason we each time. I waited and waited to hear something back. I called ***************************** on August 5th, and the number was no good. The call would not go through. I then called another number, and was told my application was denied. The man was not friendly. He said they don't know why they denied it. This company is very misleading and makes you feel like you will get approved. I now have a few inquiries on my credit and nothing to show for it. I wouldn't even give them 1 star

Our lenders look at many data points that we are not privy to before we do submit with a hard pull of credit to which you agreed.       I just spoke AGAIN to a customer service manager today about my ongoing issues with REFI JET. I called to today about 2 pm because out of NOWHERE they are requesting more documents after I closed on an auto loan almost a month ago and have itball set up with a bank to make payments. The car was paid off by the bank May 20th. The customer service representative hung up on me after I told her that it "sounded like it was their mistake and not mine" and then nobody would answer my cal, I called they picked up and hung right up. It's like an 18 year old teenage relationship! I had to call the new loan line to ask for a manager. He ENSURED ME he would GET TO THE BOTYOM OF THIS AND SEND ME HIS NUMBER SOON AS OUR CALL ENDED. 6 hours later, nothing but constant emails from REFI JET bombarding me with requests for documents. I've received 8 emails. Refi Jet failed to follow appropriate legal protocol on my paperwork for my car and has my loan paperwork messed up. I've had so many text messages, calls from so many different people, phone numbers during this process, it is unbelievable. I want a manager on the phone with me as I send over any document. This should have been done a month ago.

      I refinanced my 2022 Kia ******** via Lending Tree, who put me in touch with Refi Jet. Refi Jet set up a loan with Consumer Credit. On 5/31/24, ******** sent me a notice that my loan had been funded and that my original lender, Capitol One would be paid off within 5 to 7 days. It is now 6/11/24 and my Capitol One car loan has not been paid off. I have two car payments due on the same vehicle due to this. When I called Refi Jet the rep said there was still a verification due but that was a false statement. I told them about the 5/31/24 notice. She then said , Oh, I will get with accounting and have them expedite payment. I believe this is a fraudulent or misleading practice where they are holding my funds for an extended period, perhaps to draw short term interest or something else. At minimum, it is poor accounting practices.

      I contacted the company about six days ago for loan estimates. I decided not to move forward. They are calling and texting me constantly. I need this communication to stop. I tried contacting them to ask that they stop and never could get an answer.This is getting very frustrating.

      I signed up to get a quote for refinancing and the calls I have been getting the instant I submitted my information are out of control. They have called me from different numbers at a minimum of 8 calls in a matter of a few hours. I have unsubscribed from their website but I am still receiving calls!

      I am filing this complaint because of an injustice that ******** has done to me. I was misled by a Refi customer service rep when refinancing my **** The maintenance plan that I requested to purchase was not sold to me. Instead, he sold me some sort of engine coverage. I realized this after taking my car for maintenance. During the refinance process ******* overlooked that my husband was on the title. He then informed me that we should remove my husband from the title or else I could risk losing the interest rate I had at that time. He shared that interest rates were increasing and that removing him from the title would be the easiest option. He said they would handle everything. They would send me forms and I only needed to sign and return. I trusted him and did as he directed me to. I was concerned a higher interest rate would increasing my payment. He was very nice and convincing over the phone. I trusted that he was advising me well. When the papers arrived, I signed and sent them back. When it came time to renew my DMV tags, I was shocked to see it was $700. The prior year it was $466. I thought there must be some mistake. The *** requested a paper title correction on year 1st sold because when my husband name was taken off the title the year 1st sold changed as if I had just purchased the vehicle. I spoke with ************ at Refri Jet on 3/22/24 and she was rude, short and basically said that I had agreed to it. I disagree with her and request an investigation. She said she would request the audio files to review the conversation. I spoke to her again on 4/1/24 hoping for some answers and she said that basically there was nothing she can do other than refinancing my car again. She had not received the audio files. The position Refi Jet has put me in is unacceptable. I trusted them and they misled me. I am requesting they correct the mess they caused. I have owed my BMV since 2019. I have always been very responsible with my loan. Please help me.

      I originally refinanced through refijet december of 2023. The process itself was fairly lengthy and took a total of one and half months. I want to say how grateful I am for ****, who is the agent that helped and talked me through the process, and continued to reach out for any concerns. All was well. What left a bitter taste was customer service AFTER you have already done business with these folks. I reached out in mid January about asking to cancel my extended service contract ($2500 of contract) the worker who helped me at the time was knowledgeable and sent a couple E-docs for me to sign, perfect. She let me know I would be waiting about 4-8 weeks for the rebate, no big deal. Week 8 comes around and Im finding myself calling the line to ask about the status of my cancelation the first woman (after waiting about 15mins on the line) to answer said exactly this, noooo sorry I cant help you with that and I asked what do you mean you cant help me with that. I even asked to get transferred to a different department. She didnt offer an explanation or any sort of alternative. Pathetic.Anyway, it is now week 9 and I call again and get a different agent this time, his name is ****. He is willing to help and redirects me to ***** at ********************** ***** called one time and left a message BUT when I tried to return the call, no one picked up the phone. I have called ***** a total of 5 times this week and NOTHING. **** called me back, it was almost pretending to be be concerned about my issue and as if theyre doing anything about it. It is $2500 of my car contract that I want back. I have screenshots and paperwork to show for it and will be proceeding with legal actions if they do not get it figured out soon. Do not go to these people if you want genuine customer service after the fact youve already given them your money.
