I received a notice to expedite foreclosure process in April, I have tried to reach the company by phone (had to leave voicemail), email and have sent in the paperwork for assistance twice online. I have heard from no oneBusiness response

Statebridge was a second mortgage holder o. My home I had purchased. I thought my account was on autopay like every account I have ever had. I have zero late payments on my credit report in many years of history. For some reason my payment wasnt processed last July and statebridge reported it late. Now they have sold the loan to another to another lender and its closed out with zero balance. However they still wont remove the account from my credit report! Its 100 payment monthly and I never ever missed a payment their systems are weird and hard to ever call anyone! If their autopsy didnt kick in and I never received any warning calls or anything to make things right, I would paid instantly if I knew it didnt go in. Im trying to purchase a new home and need this removed from all three credit reports ASAP! Thank you for working with me and understandingBusiness response

I am rejecting this response because: I was not disputing the fact that the July payment reached 30 days late. Once I seen it was 30 days late I immediately made payment and made a double payment at that. The account is closed and sold and I am currently trying to close in a new home. I am simply asking if statebridge can help with a goodwill deletion of the late payment from the credit report. I have no ill will towards statebridge as they helped me get my first home. I paid my payments some times a little late due to covid and receiving and getting back on my feet. The 30 day late was simply a mishap and never happened again or prior. Please find it in the companies heart to remove the late payment since the account is now closed and sold

Statebridge is reporting late payments on both mine and my husbands credit that have not been late. I want all 16 late payments removed. I have tried to call, leave messages, email, and hired a credit repair company and still have not been able to get the problem resolved. I want all the late payments that are being falsely reported off our credit immediatley.Business response

My rebuttal is as follows:
The payment that stayebridge was referring to even if it was returned NSF was made on time and what about the other late payments that were not late that are showing on my credit? They need to take the late payments off mine and my husband's credit. It amazes me they answered this because I cant reach th by phone or email.

I received a notice of intent to foreclose on my home as result of a default on a loan. The lender is Statebridge Mortgage Company, and I have reached out to them for clarification and assistance and received minimal information regarding my account. Following the discussion today with the account manager *************************, I realized that I previously requested information regarding this debt and had not been given any opportunity to settle this debt. Prior the transfer of the loan to Satebridge, there were no missed payments to my CitiFinancial account. From the onset, Statebridge did not provide me with a viable option to repay the debt within a timely manner. They are nearly unreachable by phone. On January 11, 2022, I spoke with the account manager **** to advise him of the companys website being unable to accept electronic payments from me and that my mailed previously payment had not been applied to my account. He stated that he would send me a 30-day payoff amount via email to settle the account, to which I never received. In conversation today, I asked him to confirm that the payoff quote was sent to me, and he stated that he did not have a copy of it. He was unwilling to discuss any payment options and referred me back to the attorneys office. I dispute this claim of default and validity of the pending foreclosure on my home. I have not been presented with any effective means of which to pay the debt prior to it being sent for foreclosure action. The online payment portal was not operational for payment. Even after I requested a payoff amount to clear the debt, they did not comply with my request. I have searched both my inbox, and junk mail folders and there is nothing from Statebridge. Furthermore, the company did not send monthly statements vial US mail or email to allow me resolve this debt in any possible timely. Now I am faced with foreclosure sale and I have no understanding of how this is possible or even legal.Business response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, their practices before I was threatened with foreclosure was unacceptable. They didnt not provide appropriate service or documentation to pay this debt timely. My ability to pay was never the issue their unscrupulous business that made it difficult to pay and led to escalation was the issue.

I have been having problems with my mortgage company since 2017. Statebridge has misplaced or not applied funds to my account several times. Each time, I have paid the money or received assistance to solve the problem. In 2018, I had a foreclosure hearing in which Statebridge was found at fault and was denied a foreclosure. Immediately after the hearing, the ************************* approved my application and sent SB a check for over $8,000 to assist with my back mortgage. This was in october. The funds were not applied to my account until July of 2021. During this time, SB was reporting to the credit bureau that i was not paying, this lead to another attempt at foreclosure. I reported this to the credit bureau and won the dispute. Instead of SB correcting the mistake to my credit, the took 91 points from my credit score once they found out the would be removed from my credit report. In January 2021, the sent out a notice of mortgage increase due to my escrow account. I immediately asked for an escrow analysis. I didn't receive one until July which was immediately followed by another intent to foreclose letter. Statebridge has violated my consumer rights several times, their false reporting has messed my credit up severely and as of right now, I am going through yet another foreclosure hearing that they have failed to show up for, failed to respond to my QUALIFIED RESPONSE LETTER, failed to correct my credit and have put me in a financial hardship more than once. Each time this has happened, i've paid what I was behind in even after proving SB wrong. I can't afford to do it again. My insurance agent contacted SB several times advising them of their mistake with the escrow analysis. The year in question, 2020, didn't even have an analysis. This is what they based their increase on. They still never corrected their mistake and instead are attempting to proceed with foreclosure. I looked up their history and this has been done several times to others
