      I spoke with ****** at Statebridge LLC on 4/1/24 who told me the call was occurring on a recorded line - standard message. I called this company because of a recent letter received in the mail. I wanted to understand what it meant. The letter states that the loan maturity date of my loan which was dumped by PHH Mortgage In January 24 to Statebridge LLC / ****** UNETHICAL SCAM ARTIST becomes due and payable in the full amount of the loan balance as of May 2024. I also told him I was recording the call and he hung up on me. I called again and he answered.My loan is for a second mortgage on my principle residence. I asked ****** what does loan maturity mean? He said the full principle balance comes due. I asked him what happens if the principle isn't paid in full? He said the property would go into foreclosure. I asked him what happens if the property goes into foreclosure, he said they will come in and "swoop up my property". How is this ethical? PROPERTY OWNERS BEWARE! RECORD EVERY CALL. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING! THIS COMPANY IS STEALING HOMES FROM PEOPLE WHO CANT AFFORD TO PAY OFF THE FULL BALANCE AND CAN ONLY AFFORD TO MAKE GOOD FAITH MONTHLY INSTALLMENT PAYMMENTS. PLEASE READ EVERY CORRESPONDENCE FROM THIS COMPANY CAREFULLY, TIMELY AND DILIGENTLY OR YOU MAY LOSE EVERYTHING YOU WORKED TO HAVE A ROOF OVER YOUR HEAD! OR, YOU MAY BE FACED WITH AN UPHILL COURT BATTLE!This company needs a class action lawsuit because of its unethical practices. Their website at ************************************************** is unprofessionally set up with runtime errors and is a sham. The last statement I received cited my Payment due date was 4/1/24, but if I didn't make the payment on 3/31/24, a late fee of $74.12 may be assessed. What? Who does this? Charging before the due date? I asked ****** about this. He said no late fee if paid today.What recourse is there for consumers who PHH Mortgage did a dump and gave this SCAM ARTIST our loans?

      I NO THAT STATEBRIDGE MORTGAGE IS A SCAM.THEY TELL A LOT OF LIES .IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE ANY CONTRACTS WITH THEM. THEY CAN'T GET YOUR PROPERTY .DON'T PAY THEM ANYTHING

      Dishonest and predatory when it comes to processing my mortgage payment.I accidentally made a double payment one month. I called to see if I could get the extra payment returned. I was told that I would need to wait ******************************************************************* the mail.I called back later to see if we could get the check process started. I was then told that because my January payment was due, they could no longer send me a check for the extra payment. This was over 10 days before the payment was actually due.

      Our note was sold to this bank i.We made our July payment and for some reason it was not credited to our loan. So Statebridge is getting an extra mortgage payment from us and the loan is only six months old. We have eleven more years of this, guess we need a lawyer.

      Beware of this company, I had paid off my account on March 1st so I should have had a zero balance next month comes up and for some reason they have charged me a $24 fee which went on my credit report. Now they're are delaying sending me the deed to my property the loan is paid off and all I want is the lein released. There's always problems getting in touch with these people. I did reach out to the BBB and they were able to get my balance to zero but I still haven't received my deed I paid this off in March it should be plenty of time to release the lein on the property and send me my deed.

      I have only had them for my mortgage payment, for a little over a month . they are already calling here saying i am late , I am not . I send my payment at the 1st of the month @ it's not due until the 17th . They are harassing me . I don't need this unnecessary stress! You people need to get your business straight, check your mail and quit blaming people for being late when we are not!!!!! Wish my old mortgage company never switched to them if this is how they do business.

      This company bought our loan from ******************* My mother passed away and so we went through the process with One Main and started making payments with no problems at all. Once the balance was down to a little over $3000 it was sold to Statebridge. So my brother began making payments to them. They sent every payment back. Would not accept payments because our name was not on the deed or a will. This has gone on for almost two years. Now our balance had doubled. The excuses they make for not taking the payments is a way to stall and cause late fees in order to get more money. This place is a scam and something should be done about this. We should not to plead and beg someone to take a payment. How can they stay in business like this?

      PREDATORY COMPANY Our mortgage was sold to this company. After reading the reviews / warnings, this is what we did to avoid their traps:1) To preface: You have a grace ****** (by law) to transition your mortgage over to this company, during which they are not allowed to charge you late fees. Do not allow them to trick you into sending a check! THIS WORKED FOR US:Even though pressured many times to send a check, we refused (when you send a check they lose it then charge you late fees). The only avenue of payment we were willing to do was AUTOMATIC PAYMENT from a bank account that we set up with controlled funds in it. 2) We were proactive when it came to proving home owner insurance. Our insurance company sent a fax (bad idea) which they couldn't find. We got them on the line with our insurance company who tolerated their ***** of incompetence until the documents were received. ADVICE TO THE ELDERLY This company will intentionally set you up to to bilk charges out of you, or worse, seize your home!It is worth it to HIRE YOUR LOCAL TITLE COMPANY to communicate for you through this process. It will save you being charged bogus fees or being foreclosed upon!
