    We recently got a miniature daschund from Brightstar. He is a good tempered, fun loving puppy. ********* (the owner) was easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions. The price we paid for our puppy was reasonable in comparison to some other breeders. The only drawback about buying from them is that their place is 3.5 hrs from civilization. But, in my estimation, our puppy was worth the drive.

    Bright Star Kennels is also doing business as Resting River Kennels in which they breed many breeds of dogs. The reviews in the past has said their puppy ended up with Parvo but we still fell in love with a puppy and took him home. ******* and ********* were there at the time. ******* said his diarrhea was from his vaccination on August 28th. We bought him on September 3rd. As of yesterday, September 9th, he is now staying in the hospital until he gets better. They also wont put the pups mom and dad on the ground so you can see if they have any hip/knee issues. Not even on a leash. They wont cover any vet bills but they will exchange your sick pup for a healthy pup. This is not right.

    We have not been doing business at *************. That was *******. I ********* was never there when you picked up any puppies from *******. She and Resting River are not associated with BrightStar Kennels. If you got a dog from ******* that is on her and NOT BrightStar Kennels
