I have been a client of Alternative Physical Medicine for the past four years and have spent thousands of dollars over the years. The services I have used include bioidentical hormones, nutritional counseling, thyroid balances, blood testing, and purchase of supplements. On July 11, 2022, I purchased a plan for $1,460.16 which covered the following: 4 sessions of Female Pellet Insertions, and three supplements. Each pellet session was priced at $375/each. Because I paid for all sessions in advance, I was given a 10% discount resulting in a discounted charge of $337.50/each. I visited the clinic and used two sessions (Nov 22, 2022 and March 16, 2023). I visited the clinic on 10/19/23 to purchase supplements. At that time, I was informed by ****** that I was overdue in a payment to them in the amount of $51.02. I explained that this was not possible because I had previously paid for four pellet sessions and had only used two and that I should have a balance in excess of $600. ****** gave me copies of several pages of my patient statement. While in the office, I quickly reviewed these pages and noted some significant accounting errors (i.e overcharging me for my two pellet sessions, subtracting $453.02 from my account for a return of supplements after they had approved the return and given me a refund on my credit card). ****** said she would review my account and get back to me. I did not hear back from her. I have communicated exhaustively with the clinic since October 2023. Multiple calls and emails have been provided to no avail. On January 26, 2024, ******* sent an email informing me that I owed them $497.93 for an overdue balance and that I should call the office to settle up the account or it would go to collections. I called ****** back and once again sent emails and attachments to further clarify the accounting issues with my account. My last email was sent on Feb 9, 2024 and I have not heard back from them. For this reason, I am filing this complaint.

Dates: 11/29/23-01/22/24 Paid: $6,108.80 Business committed to provide me: P.E.M.F., Laser, Cervical Manual Traction, Manipulation, TENS, BioTe Pellet Therapy with Supplements, TruDose PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma), Jumpstart IV Push Injections Account ***** Im filing a complaint for 3 main reasonsmy conditions didnt improve, harmful office/clinical practices were employed, and the company did nothing to address my concerns. I attempted multiple times in person at appointments over the six weeks in their care to convey that my symptoms were not improving, at times worsening. I never received a satisfactory response to these attempts, typically being told some version of hang in there. I also sent an email (attached) detailing my concerns, attempting to have some sort of resolution and received no response. The following week I copied and pasted the original email into their websites Contact Us messaging portal and sent it again, still no response. I dont have proof of this second attempt because I didnt take a screenshot. I also never received a confirmation response that they had received my message and would get back to me soon. Their website is no longer functional and no longer has this point of contact possible (screenshot attached). The 6 week sequence of events: initial consultation with ******************** to review plan of care, signed plan of care, made initial payment for services in advance with discount and started treatments 12/4/23, 3 times a week typically, persuaded to do TruDose PRP, attempted to tell doctor and staff I wasnt getting better, but worse, and was concerned about the original and continued financial and time investment, no real response to resolve in person and received no response at all to 2 email attempts to resolve, I attempted through credit card companies to dispute the charges after I heard nothing from and stopped going to their office, and finally I am issuing this complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

This document is the letter explaining in greater detail the nature of my complaint. It should help thread together the 25 other attachments to weave a story for how I was wronged by Alternative Physical Medicine of Colorado. It was meant to be included in the original complaint. Thank you.
