            I spoke with a gentleman on the phone (Noah) about getting two tires replaced on my truck. He said he could get it taken care of the next day and specifically told me it would be $305 out the door. I told him that was a good price and I'd have the truck towed over ASAP. When I arrived the next day he charged me $655 for the two tires. When I told him he quoted me $305 over the phone he simply said "Nope, don't know where you got that number from." and insisted he told me $305 a piece. He did not, and did not send me a written quote.

            Customer called in stating that he needed tires for his vehicle. I went to our distributor website and quoted him from there which I have attached. The Geolander tire as seen in the picture is direct from distributor and what it costs for retail and to install each tire. The customer already attached the signed invoice agreeing to the payment.  I specifically told him that was the cost per tire.

            I am rejecting this response because:

            While I understand where the rate that Alpenglow charged me came from, that is not the issue at hand. The issue is that they quoted me one price ($305) and charged me a different price ($655). They did not send me a written quote prior to completing the work, only after completion. They then refused to adjust price in any way after I pointed out the discrepancy, claiming they quoted me $305 per tire, when they in fact did not. I understand this is a "My word against yours" scenario, however they did not provide any written quote and basically implied that I would not be able to leave with my vehicle without paying their new price. I am looking for an adjustment in price paid.
