Inquired about a listing they had. Levi got back to me saying he wasn’t available to do a viewing on the day I requested. He gave me Naomi’s number and said she was free on the day I was looking for. So I contact her around 2 pm asking her if I could view the place at 4pm. I didn’t get a response till 8 pm and her asking me if I could do 12 noon. If I was available at 12 noon I would’ve told her. She goes and texts me “ what time could you do “ mind you I told her the times I could do. Her replies back to me where late like after 9 pm. A total turn off. Then she started asking a bunch of questions. I tell her the apartment isn’t going to work out. She then responds right away asking why. I told her I want interested in that town/ location. She replies “ oh I have listings in **** ******** “ again her texting me at like 10pm ( kinda late and rather inconsiderate) I looked up this company saw all the bad reviews and I certainly won’t deal with them. It’s not cool replying to people after 9 pm unless they say it’s ok. Didn’t like how she was coming across when I told her I was no longer interested

They scam you for your application fee. Even when you are honest about your situation & are clear about your credit history, they make it seem like you have a chance only to deny you for your credit history. If you’re accepting people with low credit scores (which I exceed), you should obviously be excepting to have tenants with issues in their credit report.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I moved in with my husband after getting married and had nothing but a nightmare of a time here. So where do I even begin, first of all I moved in with my guide dog since I am visually impaired and the leasing office claimed that we had to pay a 'pet fee' even though according to the Fair Housing Act a service dog does not fall under an additional fee. We had to fight them on this until they finally followed the law. Secondly, our downstairs neighbor created nothing but a nightmare for us. Banging on the ceiling whenever we made reasonable amounts of noise including vacuuming and letting our dog play. When we spoke to the leasing office they stated that we needed an 'audio recording' to actually prove what was happening. However when we submitted our official complaint they then turned around and said we needed to be quiet because the tenant works from home. Completely unacceptable! Finally, we did not have a working oven for 2 MONTHS! Maintenance would come in and tell us one thing and not be able to fix the problem. The office refused to fix it in a timely manner and refused our request for a lowered rent. We were forced to eat out many times. Additionally, the maintenance team did not show up on numerous occasions despite being told over the phone they would. The last thing I have to say is that the hall light in the building does NOT work and one night both my guide dog and I fell down all the stairs. I am appalled at the nature of the company and their attitude towards tenants. I encourage anyone applying to live here to find somewhere better. Just because it's 'cheap' doesn't mean it's worth it.

“Levi” stood me up for a tour. His colleague defended him. This place is, quite literally, a joke.

This property is absolutely the worst if I could give a 0 start I would. They sent me an email in July stating that they’re following up on a letter rhey claim they sent which they didn’t about not renewing my lease for no aparent reason and they are giving me less than a month to move. I’ve been trying to speak to someone about the matter I’ve never owed or missed a month of my rent apart from one time I got robbed I called them let them know Friday and Monday my friend saw a mail in the door they sent me notice to quit then they charged me saying I’m responsible for the legal fee after they confirm that they did receive my rent. Now I’m applying for apartment to move out I got denied for an apartment because after the screening the company says there is a pending eviction on my name. I have been trying to contact up realty to find out what’s going on no one is responding. I don’t understand you want me out but still hindering me from moving out just to make my life hard in this country. There heater leaked and soaked all my stuff and I was out of water for two days and nobody cared I was disrespected for complaining I had to replace my rug in my living room and they charged me a late fee because I took the money from the rent to replace my rug after they failed to reimburse me for the damages. DO NOT RENT RHIS PLACE. Insect infestation maintenance sucks the entire place sucks.

I have had nothing but issues since I moved into this apartment at ********* ***** ** **********. My car was towed, because the property manager failed to give myself and at least a dozen other tenants parking permits to which all of our cars were towed. My bathtub has been filling with water from the pipes(extremely dirty water) anytime myself or one of my neighbors use any of the major appliances in our apartments. I have requested maintenance for this to which my request was also closed and marked finished, yet my bathtub is still not usable. Just 4 days ago my central air was fixed after not having it through a long heat wave through the month of June and halfway through July. Unfortunately I would not give anything higher then zero stars at this point but I had to give one. This apartment is not technically livable at this point.

I recently moved from out of state into ********* **** apartments which Up Realty is managing. I signed a lease that includes a washer and dryer. When I moved in I found that I had no hot water and a washer/dryer combo where the dryer did not work. I called the maintenance number only to receive a message that the mailbox was full and to send a SMS. I did that and entered my phone number. No call. I submitted a repair request for the non-working washer/dryer and 4 days later, I finally had a maintenance person come. He just tried to turn it on and it did not work. He was there for if 10 minutes. When I contacted Up Realty, they said they had to schedule a repair visit. I asked them if anyone checks the apartments prior to someone moving in to see if everything is in working order. I was told they do. Which is not true as these issues would have been caught prior to me moving in. In the meantime, they cancelled my repair request as completed. I have inquired every day as to the timeframe for the repair request only to receive no information on a date of repair. I submitted a new repair request and asked they do not cancel it until the issues is rectified. They did give me a one time $50 credit for compensation of doing laundry at the laundromat. I am now being told they are going to replace the unit with a new one. They do not have a date on when the new unit will be received, but they did purchase a new one. I do not believe this as they should know a timeframe of when a new unit will be delivered. It is not a good sign other tenants tell you their horror stories of repairs not being made, over flowing recycling that has not been picked up, tenants cutting back hedges so they can see over their deck, septic cover slid off the top of the septic tank to reveal almost full septic tanks, unstable 2nd story railings on the deck, just to name a few issues. I have lived in apartment complexes in several different states and never experienced anything like it. Use caution.

I would rate 0 stars if possible. Their time management on tenant issues is awful. There is no sense of urgency to rectify most situations. I have been a resident at their ********* property for almost 7 years. In the last year, we've had to reach out to them for the following fixes (see below). Next to our maintenance issue is how long it took them to fix it after we submitted the ticket. -dryer stopped working - 1 month - they had to wait (I believe find) for a contractor that could do they work. -1 ductless heat/AC unit had an issue. - they replaced all 3 units (didn't ask them to do that). This takes almost 3 months. They had to supply us with heaters because it was in the winter & wait on a contractor. - they had to go into our storage unit to install new wiring. Made a mess. - made a mess in our apt with the installation of the units (patchwork complete; paint job still not complete. The 3 month time frame was Jan. - March. I'm writing this review looking at patchwork in June. - A/C to the ductless units doesn't work. Not. One. Works. - currently happening on this 4th day in June - All 3 blow air like a fan. Guess what that's like on 80+ degree days? But I bet you can guess what they're waiting for... a contractor! - Pipe under the sink starts leaking - 1 day (Yay...) All of the above scenarios aren't housing code violations. Understood. Some projects take time to complete, we are not their only tenant, nor is this their only property. Get that too. What I don't get is the lack of communication around said projects, but then having no problem communicating about rent increases... If it's going to take awhile to rectify a problem, communicate that, but don't attempt to pacify me when I call the office looking to get answers and then tell me the property manager is going to get back to me. She never does, hence why initially led with there's no sense of urgency.

Don't use them. They will scam you, not call you back for a week then get mad at you for not reaching out even though you left 6 messages, try to take as much money as they can from you. Promise you an apartment then say its not there when your ready to move in. Specifically the ** ****** ** *** ****** area. her name is lexi. They need to be shut down.

thank you for submitting your complaint. I apologize for any inconvenience you encountered. If you could give a bit more detail so this can be researched, it would be greatly appreciated. There is a bit of confusion here, as Lexi does not handle the leasing, approvals or apartment rentals. She is the Property Manager. Please let me know who was handling your application, apartment hold etc in the leasing department. Thank you

I wouldn’t recommend this leasing company to anyone. My daughter just moved into ********** ********** ** ********** Connecticut. At the beginning of March living, there is like living in a jail. There is a Latina woman that works for maintenance who walks around like she owns the property and then she gets mad when tenants ask her questions she is very unwelcoming. she watches the tenants and then reports back to management if you value your peace and privacy I wouldn’t recommend this property .They have also set the rules where the visitors spot cannot be occupied overnight, basically saying, without saying you can’t have any visitors overnight. I just feel like people work too hard for their money to live under so many rules. These are grown adults. They are renting to children I just feel like up realty does not take any action and correcting inappropriate behavior from their employees to ensure the comfortability of their tenants. If one property is *** like this, I can imagine all the others I highly do not recommend

Thank you for your comment. Our staff, as they are typically at the property, definitely reports back to the office regarding unauthorized occupants,. As stated in the lease, "visitors" are guests that do not live, or occupy the unit for an extended period of time. This usually consists of 72 hours or less. Most residents with "visitors" do not have an issue. If the visitor in question is there to this extent where the staff knows them and sees them regularly, you may want to consider putting them on the lease as a 2nd occupant. Please feel free to contact the office directly in order to complete this process. ************. Thank you
