Hello ****** im Not quite sure why you would come on bbb looking for a refund for a sump pump leak that you never brought to our attention. All of our work has warranty as long as it's something we provided.

But you never once reaches out to me or the company about a sump pump leak. All you reached out about was your bathroom faucet that you claim was broken and off but we did not work on at all and didn't touch.

Also what you paid us for was for 3 separate projects we performed at your property which you approved and submitted payment for shortly after.

If you have any additional questions or concerns please feel free to reach .

You have my number, email, business cards, etc.

      Thank you

All of our work done for ****** was completed and approved by him and payment was submitted and he also tip the technicians that worked out there for the wonderful job done.

He never once called or text or spoke with anyone in the office in regards to a sump pump leak.

All of work has a 1 year warranty and we take care of anything needed if on us.

also the amount of money he is stating paid was for 3 separate projects completed at that property which took days to complete.

He also try to Accuse us for a faucet in his bathroom which we had absolutely nothing to do with, saying we broke the faucet.

This customer is just trying to squeeze anything out of any contractors that is doing work for him as I have spoke with other previous contractors that has performed work for him.

He was texting me non stop about something in his bathroom that doesn't work and accusing us of it, I am starting to feel offended of the accuse and will have all thisforwarded to my attorney if it continues. This company has been nothing but the best to the customer and takes care of all his needs. But to end this response NO the customer has never reached out about a leaking connection that looks as if it needs to be tightened some more (if  he didnt loosen it to start a problem with us) which takes almost 3 seconds to do so.

There are more text messages but your system doesn't allow me to upload anymore.

Please feel free to call at ********** as this is the best way to reach me.

Alvin's company was hired for numerous jobs at two separate locations. When issues arose, and they did, he sent his crew to manage the problems. I was very satisfied with this. The last job that I hired his company for had multiple parts. 1) complete piping to my bathtub which came out well (and I actually tipped his guy an extra 150 dollars on top of what he was asking) 2. Sump pump replacement (which is now leaking) 3. boiler replacement. I attempted to contact Alvin regarding a separate issue with the leaking sump but found that I was blocked in sending messages after I asked him about a broken handle on my sink in the bathroom the plumbers were working in. The house is currently under renovation and no one uses it at this time. I was recently down there to allow a construction crew into the house to quote a kitchen install when I found the bathroom faucet was turned off. I was initially confused as to why the water was not running and checked the valves under the sink and found them shut off. This was not how I left it when the plumbers were in the house unsupervised. When I turned the shut off valves back on, I found the cold water handle to the sink leaking water everywhere (and that's def not how I left it.) When I texted Alvin about it, he became very defensive, which I didn't quite understand. So I finished my conversation with him by sharing that if he was not going to address the issue, that I would find someone else who would. To this he never responded, and I left it alone and I found another plumber. However,  the leaking sump is not something I should have to pay for again and when I texted him I found that I was blocked, and none of my texts were going through.  He was paid in full for the job he completed, but I have no breakdown of the work he did on the bill itself. This was the only formal documentation I received for the job, so it's all I have (find it attached). This is why I'm unable to say how much the sump pump cost actually was. I've actually given his company much work, and I found them to be responsive. While there have been issues that required them to return for adjustments, including a leak under my dishwasher that started after they replaced pipes under my sink, and a sink that was installed misaligned. I found them to be very courteous, and willing to take care of the issues presented, and I was very surprised by his response. I don't have much time to argue about the handle on a sink, so I dropped it. I found the sump pump leak a few days later. I'd like the issue resolved.

Lastly, being accused of loosening a connection to cause Alvin's team to have to address  the issue, is insulting and also egotistical (I seriously don't want to have to deal with the company again after the response to my original query about the sink). I have very little reserve after working my own job to then have to be at a renovation site to babysit plumbers. Thx.

I was referred by a friend. I needed my faucet repaired. I contacted Alvin, who stated he would send someone out. Upon arrival the guy looked at my issue and said its $195 for him showing up. I told him Alvin never said that. I needed my faucet fixed so I agreed, he said the entire repair would be $130 plus the $195. $325. I then asked him to fix the pumps in two of my bathroom toilets he stated, it would be $100. After fixing one, the original problem was still there. He stated that he would not charged me for that. At the end I was charged $475 I said no you mean $425. he stated no he told me $475. I didn't argue I wrote a check. I realized a few hours after that I was overcharged, so i called the plumber reminded him he said he wouldn't charge me since the part was not working, I still paid the full price. He apologized and said oh yes, I will tell my boss he owes you $50.. I did not hear from them so I called, left a message no response. I had another plumber check my leaking toilets, who showed me that the only thing in my toilet was new was the flapper. I sent pics and called Alvin Plumbing again, with no luck. A few days later Alvin picked up and stated that he didnt replaced that part that was old, I told him his plumber stated he did. He went back and forth with me. I said you can keep that just give me my $50. for the overcharged, he stated that he would deduct it from the the next time he came out. I told him hes not coming out I need my money back. He said he would call the plumber and get back to me. Never heard from him since. I made several calls he sent me to voicemail each time. My boyfriend called and he told him, he doesn't have any time for me, he has too many calls coming in and he already told me what was replaced. He asked him to repay me my $50. He stated we are trying to get money out of him. I asked him for my invoice for services, which i have yet to received, after I was told once I pay I would get the invoice emailed to me.

Hello I have picked up rose call the first 3 times she has called and explained everything that was explained when we were out there doing the work, there were several issues we assessed while there and multiple issues repaired as it's there in the invoice with pictures.
It was explained we would change the fill valve and the flapper in the toilet for $100.00 and she agreed upon it. We explained this is the way to start before having to replace the actual flush valve and the cheapest way to start as it's a process of elimination thing. Rose just automatically went and had someone else replace the flush valve without notifying us or asking when we can come back out.
Everything we went there to do we completed and I tried to explain this to here but she doesn't quite understand the plumbing terms I assume. I am always open to working with all my customers but she is accusing us for something that is false.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: He only picked up my call one time. In that conversation, he kept saying the job was completed. I asked if it was, why would I have someone else come out to take a look.  In addition, I reminded him that his worker told him that he overcharged me, he said, yes he was aware and he would make the deductions when he came back out to fix the steamer box and replaced the toilets.  I told him that was not happening and asked for my money back. He said he will call the worker and called me back, I asked why when he just stated that I was owed money, he said he needed to call the worker, I said fine and hung up.  Since I didn't hear back from him for 3 days i called and was immediately sent to vm.  I tried again the next day and again was sent to vm.  I had my bf called the next day from a different number, and he picked up.  He asked, Alvin why he kept sending me to vm, he told him that he spoke to me before and he gets thousands of calls daily and he has no time for me. He asked for the money back and he said the job was done, my bf said, no there was an overcharged he said the job was done, then my bf told him if the money isn't repaid we will go the BBB, he said he didn't care do what ya want.  In addition, if the job was done why would I have needed someone to come in to look and fix the toilet, and the toilets do not need to be replaced as was told, by the people at Alvins.

Why have I yet to receive and invoice? At the end of the job i was asked for a check, I asked for my invoice, i was told the invoice will be emailed to me immediately, I trusted that and gave the check.  I have yet to received an invoice. On the same day the other guy came in to fix the toilet, I sent alvin the pics showing him only the flaps were replaced. I might not be aware of plumbing terminology, but I certainly can tell a new part from an old part.  In addition, the toilets didn't need to be replaced once it was fixed with the things alvin claimed he fixed.  This company is clearly a ripoff.   When I book alvin, at no time did he tell me there was a charged just to come out. I learnt this from his worker after he had looked at my problem and diagnosed the problem. I told him, alvin never mentioned that and he apologized.  As I needed the work done I agreed.  After services were (as I thought completed) I paid in good faith, even after I was told an initial price of $325.00 then jumped to $375.00 plus and additional $100. for toilet repair, a total of $475.00.  that I paid even though I knew it was more that the original quote.    I just want my money back.  I do not want alvin pluming coming out to do any work at my house therefore a deduction would not be made. so please reimburse me my money for the toilet repairs which were not done. and the over charge of $50.  I forgot to say this in my initial complaint. If it cost $195.00 to have them come out and to repair the valve leak it cost $130.00 equally the original amount told to me of $325.00 Was the additional $50.00 for? Please reimburse this, plus my $100. for toilet repairs that were  not done, he can deduct the cost of the 2 flaps (the only thing replaced).  Thank you

      Sincerely,

As stated before it was not just 2 flaps replaced and technician went through the whole entire house you guys were showing all of the issues which took a lot of time for diagnostic and elecnastic and a lot of time figure out issues in the shower That was not even charged for. It was not just the flappers replaced it was the fill valves as well and you were aware that the flush valves would possibly need replacing as well... We explain to you in detail this is the start art of the process needed to repair the leak in your toilets and you agreed to have us do it that's why we did it and that's why you paid us. Your invoice was sent to you right away the same day as I sent the proof So you can see it was sent with the email you provided... If you decided to call someone else out to fix the issue of the toilet before we can come back out that is on you unfortunately, Like I told you I was more than happy to work with you on coming back out out to resolve the issue, But you jumped the gun to get the issue resolved in such a hurry but now expect me to pay???

Who are you guys? It was only me at home. You didn't go through my entire home, I took you specifically only to the spots where I needed help. You guy stated that the $195.00 covered the consulting fee for showing up. If you. My toilets were not leaking, it was just constant water running. Your guy attempted to repair and it didnt work, and although he stated he wouldnt charge me since it didnt work you still charged me. As the problem in the toilets persist, i called someone who was able to repair the toilets without me having to under take more expense in buying new toilets. SInce your company seem to be a fraud I did not see a reason for you to come out, why would that plumber able to repair the issue without me buying new toilets and your entire focus has been when I come out to install your toilets at $300+ for each you will give me a deduction, from the money already paid. I dont want you any where around my home, I just want to be repaid for my overpayment. You overcharged me, the services will never be done therefore they wouldn't be any deduction, just pay my money back.
