I was a member of the Crunch Fitness for years. Even during the quarantine I stopped using the gym, I still paid for the membership for the two years since I wanted to support the local business. In last December, I decided to relocate and live in *** during the weekdays and most of the weekends because of work. I called the Crunch Fitness ******* location and requested cancellation of my membership, and was told to submit a email request. I emailed the office but no response. In the beginning of March, I called the ******* branch again, and was provided another email address of the manager. I emailed the manager, and cancelled my credit card that was used to autopay for the monthly membership. Then I immediately received penalties and double bills, but my membership is still not canceled. I spoke with the Crunch Fitness billing department, exchanged more emails with the manager, until today, Crunch Fitness is still charging me membership fee, and kept asking for my new credit card information, adding penalties for being “an active member” and ”not having a valid card on file”.
