      I purchased a propane fireplace from Spicer, who also installed the unit and propane tank in 2021. Since the installation, the unit has NEVER worked properly. I've had 7 service appointments, which have resulted in different opinions as to what the problem is - without resolution. on 11/8/23 I had a service appointment. They did NOT show up (howver I did see a spicer SUV drive BY my house), and when I spoke to the office manager, she tried to blame the missed service appointment on me.

      We are going to Ms. ***** house this afternoon to hopefully resolve the issue she is having with the fireplace.  Unfortunately, there have been a couple instances where both the customer and our service department have missed each other.  We will make sure that all communications going forward are clear and accurate.

      My propane tank had a leak in October of 2021. Had previously had tank filled in june. Of 2021. They are trying to bill for whole tank despite last tank having leak and losing half propane. I have tried multiple times to get them adjust bill due to leak, I shouldn’t have to pay for full tank. I paid half of bill and asked to be credited some money before paying anything else.

      Spoke to customer this morning, and apologize for the slow response from our office.  We have credited 50% of a full tank and removed all finance charges that occurred since the tank was switched out. Believe the situation is resolved at this time.

      Hired Spicer Gas for a cleaning and to replace a part. My gas fireplace is older. Upon cleaning they broke my pilot and ignitor. Told me they had broken it and replaced it. Figuring they replaced what they broke and that everything was fine I said thank you. I then received a bill that included a fee for a replacement part of $295.00, (can find them cheaper anywhere else)was never told of the upcharge only that it was my fault for not asking how much it was going to cost to replace the part that he broke. That I should have done that and they would have taken it out If I wasn't happy with the cost, once again of the part they broke leaving me w a fireplace that didnt work. I am being charged for their mistake and never authorized it. They broke it!!!

      As stated by customer we were hired to clean an old fireplace.  The parts in question were old and in varying degrees of decay.  While attempting to clean the pilot assembly it broke.  It was not a mistake by our technician it was a result of the age and condition of the part.  The communication by our technician while on-site may not have been clear, so we agreed to credit a portion of the billed parts and removed finance charges.  The customer paid the amount due after adjustment, and we believe the issue to be resolved.
