    I ordered 2 horse blankets from this company 3-5-25. Paid in full. They said they were sent to me and left at my home on 3-8-25. We were home that day and nothing was left this company is giving me the run around I keep telling them we did NOT get my order. They keep telling me sorry. I get packages delivered here all the time

    According to the United States Postal Service, this package was delivered to your address on March 8, 2025. We have done quite a bit of business with you in the past and as you know, there has never been another delivery issue. We believe that this package may have been stolen. As stated in our emails, we cannot replace the products due to the fact that they are sold out and discontinued. We have issued a full refund for this order. We apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused.

    I had an incorrect order sent to me. I told them what happened and they won't send me my items until I sent back the incorrect ones. I needed my order a week ago!! This is what I get for being honest! So basically, they are holding my items until I return the ones I received by accident. Now I have to find a way to print a label, take time out of my day and pack this other persons stuff back up and drive it out to the post office!! I'm sure the other person got a refund and didn't have jump through hoops to get a replacement! I still don't have my items and they were on clearance, its been 2 weeks so I'm sure it's gone by now. Customer service was no help! What happened to "The Customer is Always Right!!" I won't be ordering from Chicks again in the future and I'm going to let the whole horse community know, and to buy local from now on!

    I have given them 5 business days to make things right and have gotten nothing but a run around! I did everthing they asked regarding my stolen package. I filed a police report & a report with the post office. I've sent them all the information multiple times via email. I've called and left messages for the manager. I keep being told he has "stepped away" and will get back to me. I am out $66 which may not sound like a lot of money to some but I have done everything they asked! I am so dissapointed and angry!

    We had asked for you to be patient with this, as Postal Investigations take 7-10 days. We received the response from the USPS on April 10th. They have denied the claim, as the package was delivered to your mailbox. As it appears that you have already referred this to your local police department, there is nothing further for you to do on your end. While we do not accept responsibility for this apparent theft and even though the claim with the postal service was declined, we have issued a full refund for this order.     I use to really like Chicks Saddlery but the last couple orders have not been great experiences. Their website will show things in stock that aren't in stock. The items in stock are ultimately months out so you either choose to wait for the item or pay more for an upgraded item. I also ordered a slow feed hay bag and recieved a small grain bag instead of the hay bag. Called customer service and they were supposed to be sending the correct item. Shipping number was sent out and showed item in route, but all the sudden the item is not tracking in the system. Prices are great, but typically when an item is ordered, it is because it is needed and not something that we can wait months for it to arrive.

    Ordered a saddle from them based on the measurements they provided on their website. Paid over $300 for it. When it arrived the measurements didn't add up at all. It was like they were the measurements for a totally different saddle and it did not fit my horse whatsoever. I contacted them and I said it's going to be $130 to ship this saddle back and I don't think it's fair I should have to pay that because I would not have purchased a saddle in the first place had it been represented correctly. It fell on deaf ears and I ended up eating $130 just to get my $300 back for the saddle purchase. I've been a long time customer of theirs but not anymore. Them refusing to pay my shipping back has cost them thousands in the future. I own a ranch with several horses and I will go anywhere but here going forward.

    Ordered 3 blankets on the early morning of the 13th of Jan and I just got them last night on the 22! I had to order 3 other blankets from somewhere else because these were taking so long to come in and the other blankets came in way before Chicks did and I ordered them way after! And the other place had cheaper shipping too!!! Now I have to pay out of pocket for the shipping back and get insurance on the items to get my refund! Never again will I order from them. I also see below that others had the SAME issues I did!

    Ordered winter blankets in 1/7/2025. Items were shipped on 1/15/2025. Will not arrive until 1/21/2025. I ordered them in plenty of time for our cold weather on 1/19/2025. I had to drive 4 hours round trip to South Texas Tack to get blankets. I will no longer need the ones I ordered. Called Chicksaddlery and they told me rhey do not provide return labels or shipping. Told me thaey they were shut down for a few days due ro weather and that's why shipping was delayed. Reading the reviews it appears delayed shipping is a common theme. I'm sure they will respond citing the weather as an excuse. However, the weather is why I needed to purchase blankets elsewhere. I would think they could make some exceptions. Like another reviewer stated. I guess I'll just use Jeffers.

    Good selection and prices but seriously lacking in shipping time and customer service. There have been numerous complaints and It's unfortunate that Chick's doesn't even make an effort to correct the problems.

    They made me pay to return an unopened item- $30 for the return. Then they used only a partial refund! Mind you, the package wasn’t even opened!

    Sorry to hear about this. The $30 that you paid to return this item was exorbitant. I suspect that you took the item to a third party shipper (The UPS Store is a 3rd party). It is always less expensive to buy postage or shipping online directly from the USPS or UPS. They do not charge service or acceptance fees. Regarding the refund: Unfortunately, the shipping fee that you paid for this order is not refundable. There was nothing wrong with the product - you just changed your mind about it for some reason and sent it back. We are truly sorry that this did not work our for you. It appears that you were not aware of our shipping and return polices (available online at: https://www.chicksaddlery.com/shipping-and-return-policy).     I like everything about Chicks... their price and selection. My complaint is the shipping!!! The more you spend the more the gouge you on shipping!! I spent over $200 and had to pay $20 shipping which is outrageous to me but their prices were good so I decided to go for it. I placed my order on Nov 20th and as of November 25th it hasn't shipped, they are claiming it will ship today and should take 1-2 days - highly doubt it. Their shipping is based on what you spend - so spend more money and we will penalize you for spending more and charge you more shipping!!! Makes no sense! So I've waited 5 days for an order to ship and its also coming USPS according to them which is a joke - If I'm paying $20 shipping at least use UPS or FedEx - cheap skates! I called to express my concerns - all they did was apologize - no refund on shipping or future coupons. Get it together Chicks!

    First of all, we thank you for you business and are sorry to hear about the delay with this order. We generally try to ship all orders within 1-2 working days, but unfortunately, at this time of year it can take a bit longer. As you know, this is scheduled to ship today. Regarding our shipping fees: we do not offer free shipping, however, the maximum a customer will pay for standard delivery is $19.99. It is a little more for larger orders for the simple reason that larger orders cost more to ship. Further to that, we do not "gouge" on the shipping charge - go to the Post Office or the UPS store to ship a package to get an idea of the true cost of shipping (and it increases every year). I realize that other companies claim to offer "Free" shipping, but then charge FOB, oversize and all types of surcharges. The cost of shipping is generally included in the price of the products. We ask our customer so compare the bottom line - our total cost of purchase is generally lower than that of other companies that offer free shipping.
