This site is a scam. My daughter thought she was buying tickets directly from the venue. When I received the email confirmation, no links worked for tickets or company contact.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value”

Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for West Michigan Whitecaps at Great Lakes Loons, they were able to see the tickets available. Once selected, they are taken to a page with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity, delivery method and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $159.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $159.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

This is a 3rd party seller that highly inflates prices and adds on many fees, when the actual price from another--legit--agency was 1/3. The link to the ticket does not work, and I have not been able to contact anyone at this company. I have filed a complaint with the Hawaii Department of Consumers Affairs, and will be speaking with my bank. This company has deceptive practices, and price-gouges. They clearly state no refunds, so I'm really hoping I can get this handled. What was going to be a nice and fun event in Honolulu has now turned into a complete headache. It is unbelievable that this activity is allowed when so many grievances are posted against this fraudulent company.

Ticket-center falsely represented as the legit ticket website. They also said that my seats would be together and they’re not. The tickets they sent to me in the email are pdf files of tickets, not the legit tickets.

The tickets provided to our customer were located in the side terrace section of the venue, which organizes seating based on odd/even numbers. This is a standard practice for many theatre events. The seats provided to Ms. ***** were consecutive even numbers, meaning that the seats were located adjacent to one another. Had Ms. ***** contacted us prior to the event date, our customer care team would have happily informed her of that information; however the only contact we received from Ms. ***** was regarding the date of the event.

On June 3, 2024, I bought a parking ticket for $40.00 at the Cathedral Garage from TicketsCenter.com to the Leanne Morgan event at the Safe Credit Union Performing Arts Center on June 9th @ 7pm. I received the confirmation email (attached) to my [email protected] email address with the order # 64821632 for my order. On June 7th, I called their customer service because I had not received my ticket. The recording said they would send me my ticket the day of the event. On June 9th at 2pm I contacted customer service again, this time asking for a representative. I spoke to the representative and she found my order by using my email address that i ordered the ticket from ([email protected]) told me I had to download the ParkWhiz app on my phone to receive the ticket. While she was on the phone, I downloaded the app, and the ticket was not their. After 45 minutes and placing me on hold multiple times the representative came back on the phone and told me they would resend the ticket and it will appear in the app in the next 30 minutes. I waited an hour and a half checking every few minutes and still no ticket. I called customer service back again. This time they told me the person that was supposed to resend it to me isn't answering the phone. Since there wasn't anything I could do, I ended up parking someplace else and had to pay a 2nd time for parking. On Monday, June 10th I called TicketsCenter.com back and asked for a refund since I never received the ticket. They told me they wouldn't refund my money because the event wasn't cancelled. Which makes no sense to me. The email was very clear that they would not honor a paper copy of my order, so without them sending the electronic ticket, I could not use it.

On March 4th, 2024 I saw Celeste Barber was coming into town. I purchased 6 tickets for my 41st Birthday Party from what I thought was Ticketmaster. However, it was a third party company hosting resale tickets. Tickets to the show were and are still not sold out. Tickets sold to me were at $139. After taxes and fees I paid $1,075.50. Today, same seats are sold on Ticketmaster for $49 each. I feel like this is absolute fraud. I spoke to a manager today to ask about this pricing discrepancy and was told that as a third party they are not responsible and cannot refund the variance. To me, it seems like any employee who works here can pre-buy tickets, overcharge customers, knowing that this fraudulent company will pop up first when buying tickets. I’m contending this with my credit card company.

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This “company” was marketed and linked to Ticket Master.  Deception at its finest.  I thought I was purchasing at face value when the search engine directed me to the availability page.  Price gouging, deception, zero customer service, not to mention this is a digital method of scalping tickets which is illegal in the city of Denver, where the event occurred.  Because of this, the “company” took advantage of the buyer wholeheartedly. **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered. I searched for The Santa Fe Opera website directly and landed up on this page for Tickets-Center.com. I had no idea this was an independent vendor. When looking for tickets I chose my section and that I wanted seats together. I did receive an email after the transaction was complete, but no seat numbers were provided. We NEED the seat numbers in order to provide to other members of our party who would also like to purchase their tickets and be seated together! Once I called the actual venue box office directly, they advised of this site being a FOR PROFIT website that will not provide refunds or seat numbers and that they make it impossible for consumers to simply get their seat information. Any other 3rd party site allows you to select your exact seats and will provide you with confirmation of such after purchase. This is very misleading, unethical and bad business! I’ve tried to cancel this transaction, speaking to a rep named Wilton in their customer support department, but they only say “sales are final, they cannot refund….” and continue stating the same things over and over. I understand all they are telling me, and am even willing to bite the billet with the 50% above sale price I unfortunately had to pay, but they should allow for refunds in these situations! They will not even allow me to return the 2 tickets and repurchase 3 seats together so that our friend can enjoy the show with us. They say I need to resell the tickets using another 3rd party website if I want my money back, and I cannot use their site to do this, as they only accept tickets from certain companies with large volume of tickets. They further refused to forward me to a higher level of management saying they are unable to forward calls and that they were already a ‘manager’ in the escalation department. I would like to be refunded, and since they provided no option to do so with their customer service team, I am left no choice but to file this complaint to seek reimbursement please.

I recently purchased tickets from tickets-center.com. I was of the impression that I was on an official site, that is that I was directed from the venue for organizing body (Copa America) web site. I spent just over $800 for one ticket (their least expensive option) to see Argentina vs. Peru as a gift for a family member. Only after the receipt of my tickets did I realize that tickets-center.com was not who I thought they were. I received my tickets in the email from ticketmaster.com, which is an organization I was actually familiar with and I thought was equivalent. Ticketmaster and similar reputable sites such as StubHub actually are selling the same tickets for half the price compared to tickets-center and have much more favorable reviews. I could have been more cautious, scrupulous, yes, despite the advice that these tickets were "hot," as in "going fast," which I now doubt. I feel tricked and deceived and made a fool by this site. They simply marked the prices up enormously and presented as something they are not, that is a ticket exchange between consumers that will set a fair price for all parties, including reasonable profit for the host of the exchange platform.

I purchased tickets to a show at Bethel Woods. This site came up first in a goggle search. It is build to trick you into thinking you are buying directly from the venue. The website is extremely deceptive. It never stated they are a 3rd party seller. It never stated the terms for buying the tickets. The link to contact them after the sale did not work. I want a refund for this purchase but I know that will not happen as it appears they are allowed to operate in this deceptive manner.

It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Fast, easy and secure secondary marketplace tickets. Prices may be above or below face value."

In order to complete their order, our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, "I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the order summary below. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown was provided. Directly below the “Place Order” button our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking "Place Order", your credit card will be charged $825.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

Our records indicate that the original ticket transfer took place on 4/26/24 at 12:13 PM CST and we detect no issues with the original transfer. Our customer contacted our customer support department on 5/7/24 and they were able to access their tickets after troubleshooting. Furthermore, our customer did not contact our customer service team again with any other concerns.

In addition to this current claim, our customer has filed a dispute with their credit card company regarding this order. We are unable to provide a resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open due to the nature of the dispute process. We encourage our customer to contact the institution with which the dispute was filed in relation to any questions they may have regarding its process or outcome. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.

On December 20, 2023 I purchased ticket through the Tickets Center Website. The total cost was $962.50. I received emails from the company stating that I have purchased my tickets and can access them through the attached link. The link was not working and the page stated “The information you entered does not match our records. Please try again”. I also tried tracking my order status through another link they sent me. I input my order number and email address but it stated the same thing as the other link. I tried disputing this transaction through my bank on December 26, 2023 and again in April. The first dispute did not go through after investigation. The second dispute is ongoing and we’re supposed to call me on Monday, May 6th but I have not received any calls.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customers’ concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Independent resale tickets, prices may be above face value.”

Our customer placed their order on 12/20/23 for Wicked. Our customer filed a financial dispute, and it was ultimately resolved in our favor. Please note that per our terms, that our customer agreed to at the time of purchase, it states: “In the event that you dispute a charge and it is determined that the charge was valid and not the result of credit card or other payment fraud, we have the right to seek payment, including all associated fees, by whatever means necessary, including using collection agencies and legal proceedings. We may also mitigate our damages by relisting and selling, as the case may be, the tickets that are the subject of the underlying payment dispute.”

Please note that prior to this claim our customer had not contacted us to address their concerns. At this time, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has questions regarding their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service team.
