I thought I was purchasing concert tickets from TicketMaster. It was actually a secondary company. They sent the link for me to accept my tickets. When I tried it gave me an error saying they had already been accepted. I called the business. The first representative hung up on me. I called back. The representative verified I had ordered the tickets and confirmed the last 4 digits of my debit card. After being on hold for several minutes I was told in about 5 days they could verify who accepted the tickets. I asked for a refund since they could not help me. They refused. My husband went to TicketMaster and purchased new tickets for us. I want a refund from the secondary company.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value”

Our customer reached out to us on June 16th, 2024 regarding the ticket transfer, experiencing difficulty accepting the transfer. After troubleshooting, our customer care team advised that we would attempt a retransfer request. This is a manual process, and can take time to accomplish; however the customer was advised that it was being attempted, and to monitor her email for updates. It should be noted that retransfer requests are not guaranteed after the initial transfer is sent. The retransfer request has been completed as of June 26th, 2024.

We maintain that this order was delivered successfully. As such, we are unable to provide compensation regarding our customer's concerns. If Ms. ****** has additional questions regarding their order, we welcome her to contact our customer care team directly. At this time we consider this matter closed.

      Regards,

Ticket scalping, also known as ticket reselling, https://tickets-center.com/# looks to mirror the https://www.crossinsurancecenter.com/ web site and marks up the tickets 3X. After the Chase debit card was declined for fraud my wife use our Capital One credit card which questioned the charge however my wife overrode the fraud warning. the Sale was on Sat, Jun 8 at 9:55 PM for the amount of $927.50. I called the company immediately after checking the sail price on the Cross Insurance Center web site which differed vastly from Tickets-Center.com/# of $384.80. I spoke to Fab on Mon, Jun 10 at 11:15 EST at 1-8002955354 in reference to order number 64989667. Fab indicated all sales were final and would not cancel the order. Fab appears to work for a call center handling multiple businesses. I did speak to my credit card company and they are also helping. The event in not until late Sep 2024 and there should be no reason the company cannot cancel the charge and reservations.

On March 4th, 2024 I saw Celeste Barber was coming into town. I purchased 6 tickets for my 41st Birthday Party from what I thought was Ticketmaster. However, it was a third party company hosting resale tickets. Tickets to the show were and are still not sold out. Tickets sold to me were at $139. After taxes and fees I paid $1,075.50. Today, same seats are sold on Ticketmaster for $49 each. I feel like this is absolute fraud. I spoke to a manager today to ask about this pricing discrepancy and was told that as a third party they are not responsible and cannot refund the variance. To me, it seems like any employee who works here can pre-buy tickets, overcharge customers, knowing that this fraudulent company will pop up first when buying tickets. I’m contending this with my credit card company.

Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Celeste Barber, they were able to see the tickets available. Once selected, they are taken to a page with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity, delivery method and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $1,075.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $1,075.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This “company” was marketed and linked to Ticket Master.  Deception at its finest.  I thought I was purchasing at face value when the search engine directed me to the availability page.  Price gouging, deception, zero customer service, not to mention this is a digital method of scalping tickets which is illegal in the city of Denver, where the event occurred.  Because of this, the “company” took advantage of the buyer wholeheartedly. **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered. I purchased tickets to a show at Wolf Trap. This site came up first in a goggle search to trick you into thinking you are buying directly from the venue. The website is extremely deceptive. It never stated they are a 3rd party seller. After repeated chats with the company, I still have not received my tickets that i paid handsomely for. They said the terms agreed to state there are no refunds. I could "resell" them on their platform, but they will not refund the purchase price. Given that it has been over a week of hassle and sstill no tickets, I will contest the charges with my credit card company. I too am surprised that they are allowed to operate.

I searched for The Santa Fe Opera website directly and landed up on this page for Tickets-Center.com. I had no idea this was an independent vendor. When looking for tickets I chose my section and that I wanted seats together. I did receive an email after the transaction was complete, but no seat numbers were provided. We NEED the seat numbers in order to provide to other members of our party who would also like to purchase their tickets and be seated together! Once I called the actual venue box office directly, they advised of this site being a FOR PROFIT website that will not provide refunds or seat numbers and that they make it impossible for consumers to simply get their seat information. Any other 3rd party site allows you to select your exact seats and will provide you with confirmation of such after purchase. This is very misleading, unethical and bad business! I’ve tried to cancel this transaction, speaking to a rep named Wilton in their customer support department, but they only say “sales are final, they cannot refund….” and continue stating the same things over and over. I understand all they are telling me, and am even willing to bite the billet with the 50% above sale price I unfortunately had to pay, but they should allow for refunds in these situations! They will not even allow me to return the 2 tickets and repurchase 3 seats together so that our friend can enjoy the show with us. They say I need to resell the tickets using another 3rd party website if I want my money back, and I cannot use their site to do this, as they only accept tickets from certain companies with large volume of tickets. They further refused to forward me to a higher level of management saying they are unable to forward calls and that they were already a ‘manager’ in the escalation department. I would like to be refunded, and since they provided no option to do so with their customer service team, I am left no choice but to file this complaint to seek reimbursement please.

I recently purchased tickets from tickets-center.com. I was of the impression that I was on an official site, that is that I was directed from the venue for organizing body (Copa America) web site. I spent just over $800 for one ticket (their least expensive option) to see Argentina vs. Peru as a gift for a family member. Only after the receipt of my tickets did I realize that tickets-center.com was not who I thought they were. I received my tickets in the email from ticketmaster.com, which is an organization I was actually familiar with and I thought was equivalent. Ticketmaster and similar reputable sites such as StubHub actually are selling the same tickets for half the price compared to tickets-center and have much more favorable reviews. I could have been more cautious, scrupulous, yes, despite the advice that these tickets were "hot," as in "going fast," which I now doubt. I feel tricked and deceived and made a fool by this site. They simply marked the prices up enormously and presented as something they are not, that is a ticket exchange between consumers that will set a fair price for all parties, including reasonable profit for the host of the exchange platform.

I purchased tickets to see Cake on 5/10. The email to accept them electronically came and i selected the correct option send it to Google wallet. The email stated I had accepted them but they never showed up in Google wallet. I wasn't able to get into the concert because I had no tickets to scan. I was forced to spend more money buying tickets on the spot. When I called customer service they told me I was out of luck because they show I had the tickets. It was the equivalent of making my pay for an empty package. That's not right. That's a scam.

In this case, tickets for our customer's event were transferred electronically through a third-party platform to the email address associated with the order on 5/8/24. The customer contacted our customer service team regarding issues locating their ticket transfer, at which point our customer care team attempted to assist the customer in accessing their tickets. It should be noted that valid documentation was obtained that confirmed the correct tickets were transferred to the email address provided by the customer at the time of checkout, and as such, the ticket delivery was marked as completed.

Prior to receiving this claim our customer was provided a full refund back to their original payment method. As such we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns relating to their order, we welcome them to contact our customer service department.

      Regards,

Misleading website: Ticket-center not advertising that they are a third party until after purchase of tickets. Had no seats for the venue. Couldn't communicate with the merchant. Sent numerous emails to merchant to no response. Received bar code with incorrect information the day of the event.

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Fast, easy and secure secondary marketplace tickets. Prices may be above or below face value."

In order to complete their order, our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, "I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the order summary below. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown was provided. Directly below the “Place Order” button our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking "Place Order", your credit card will be charged $825.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

Our records indicate that the original ticket transfer took place on 4/26/24 at 12:13 PM CST and we detect no issues with the original transfer. Our customer contacted our customer support department on 5/7/24 and they were able to access their tickets after troubleshooting. Furthermore, our customer did not contact our customer service team again with any other concerns.

In addition to this current claim, our customer has filed a dispute with their credit card company regarding this order. We are unable to provide a resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open due to the nature of the dispute process. We encourage our customer to contact the institution with which the dispute was filed in relation to any questions they may have regarding its process or outcome. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.
