              I was billed for a service that was not provided for $119.50. Our system was not working for over 1 year, so we called to cancel, but was given the run around repeatedly and was falsely told that we are required to have a technician come to the house to repair the system. We said we still want to cancel and were told that a technician must come to the house. The technician came and said that ADT cannot do anything for the system and that it does not work so we should not get any more bills. We kept receiving bills for a broken system that was not able to be fixed. Every time we called to cancel, we were hung up on and could not get through with cancelling the account. Our bill was then sent to collections, when we called again we got the run around with the billing department, they were extremely rude and accusatory. They were not willing to resolve the issue in any manner. We demand the $119.50 to be removed from the account to reflect a $0 balance, and permanently closed account for this nonfunctional system. This is fraudulent charge, and a breach of contract and service agreement.

              ************** First the telephone rep told me over the phone they it was ADT security system; when the sales men came I was told that ****** equipment was better than ADT. Never mentioned a 2 year contract. When I tried to cancel the same day the representative continued to tell me I couldnt because I signed a contract. I explained that I did not want their system I was told I would have to pay $2000 and something dollars to cancel. I was cancelling same day and was told I couldnt; then the Rep stated he give me () free and I can keep the same monthly payment. I even told them I was on workers comp and cant afford it. This company did not care. The equipment doesnt work half the time and it has to be charged every 10 to 15 days not the 30 days they claim. This company is all about the money and not satisfying their customer.Very disappointing customer!
