On 10/4/2023 I saw one of your Drs (don't remember who off the top of my head) for issues I"m having with my hips and back. He mentioned I should attempt a back brace and referred me to Quality of Life DME. They texted me later that day to get what size I needed and said ok and sent it to me. No mention of price, nothing. When the brace came, it didn't come with anything, no instructions, no anything. The brace did not fit at all, but I had no one to contact. When the bill came on 11/14/2023 I was very surprised with over $700 charge! On the ******** website it mentioned to email them for any returns. I emailed them that day, and got no response. 2 weeks later on 11/30/2023, I followed up with them and they finally sent me Quality of Life's phone number. I called them that day, only to be told I was past the return window and sucked to be me. We reached out to insurance to dispute it and they did a fraud investigation, and here we are now with a collections notice... ***************** received information that it was a custom fit brace and we did several fittings (which we did not) and denied every part of the claim. Quality of Life DME is still refusing to return the device and is demanding we pay them over $700 for a brace I cannot even use. This has brought much burden to me and my family, I haven't received any treatment because of my back, and now really don't want to use you all any more if this is who you are working with. They are nasty people, and have been extremely nasty on all fronts of this. They have accused us of lying multiple times regarding this.
