I have had numerous issues related to bad panels and micro inverters. I have currently been dealing with a warranty claim since August of 2024. Multiple panels were not functioning 100%. They replaced said panels which still arent working to the guarantee they claim to provide for 25 years. They then claimed the inverters were bad. Replaced with no success. Now they want to charge me for the 3 faulty panels they recently replaced to the tune of $500 and claim now that warranty costs are the customers responsibility. In no way shape or form should a customer pay for warranty costs associated with a defective product. Now I have 3 panels sitting directly in my driveway for the last week and they refuse to install until the $500 invoice is paid. I only expect the system I paid over $60,000 for to work as promised.

To clarify, the warranty provided by the manufacturer covers the cost of replacing defective equipment, such as panels and microinverters. However, it does not cover the labor associated with diagnosing, removing, and installing replacement components. The service fee you were charged reflects the labor required for these tasks. This is a standard practice across the industry, as manufacturer warranties typically do not include labor costs.

Panels look great, install was professionally handled/done, and my contact (Tess D.) did a great job guiding me through the process and was always available when I needed her. Only complaint would be the tiles that were removed from my roof for the panels to be installed weren’t stacked in an ideal location when they were done.
