What a joke of a company! Someone should really get this website/sorry excuse for a company taken down! My daughter (3yr) old got a hold of my phone and created an account on this website using my auto fill option on my phone at 8:54pm. I realized this 10minutes later. Checked my bank account and sure enough $49.99 coming out of my account. Their website lies and says customer service is available 24/7, which they are not because I kept calling only to get an automated answer. Then I sent numerous emails asking for a refund, only to be begged to try their services, again after stating I have no need for their services as my child created the account in error. They don't care that so many people are ****** about their fraudulent website and hook and baiting you to get $14.99 out of you. Yes they can keep stating our website has terms and agreements and keep $14.99 after cancelation. So I am paying $14.99 for 10mins of a service I didn't use and was created by mistake so all of your sorry a** customer service reps can get some kind of paycheck....smh. How has this "company" not been abiliterated yet? Please also note since their responses say "terms and agreements" after looking at what was created on my behalf ... the phone number created was not a local number for the jail that was entered and after reading what this company says they do... you still have to put money on the jail phone provider.. so even if your services were useful, you are ripping people off. The jail phone is going to charge your account and global charges you $50 that is double paying. PEOPLE PLEASE GET A REAL JOB AND STOP RIPPING OFF HARD WORKING PEOPLE!!!!!

This company should be shut down immediately! They stole ***** from me. When my son was incarcerated I was trying to add money to his account and for some reason my card would not work online, so I called and paid by phone. One week later, after my son was no longer there, I had a pop up notification asking did I want to try and retry the payment (once again I had already made the payment by phone) yes or no, I accidentally dropped my phone and when I picked it up it had hit the yes. I immediately called and told them what had happened and to release that money back to me. I was then told I would only get back 35$ due to some fee! I was furious! She rudely told me it would be 5 to 7 days before I see the refund and then hung up on me. This was in April, it is now days away from Aug 1st 2024 and I've still not been refunded a dime. I've called a million times and sent a million emails, with no response. Conveniently they never answer their phones so I leave voicemails everyday. I finally get the same girl today and now she tells me I get zero back due to I didn't respond to their email and it has now expired! Refused me a sup "he is not taking calls" then hung up on me again. These people are out right stealing our money and if I could leave a neg star rating I would. Never once have they sent me an email. A pop up should of never appeared on my phone and I should of been refunded all my money the same day. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FRAUDULENT SO CALLED BUSINESS. I will not stop here. I work hard for my money and refuse to sit back knowing they rob people. 1$ 3$ 10$ 20$ it IS NOT RIGHT!! Imagine how much money they steal from each person, adds up fast. Sitting behind a phone robbing people is what they do and I am not going to stop until they are shut down and prosecuted. Write letters to your loved ones, because if you send any money to these people they will find a way to get more out of you without providing any services! 0 ? didn't see a $49.99 price,but they say there's one on there,my son still called me collect call,,they then said there's a special number he has to dial, which at the beginning nobody told me, I had to get a special number an my son call that special number to get in touch with me,, I wanted to speak with manager,but the managers you can only text cause they can't handle the American public consumer,,an now they only wanna return $35 of $49.99,,This is a scam or a joke, that's why you have to ****** their reviewsGlobalTel Network LLC Response

You purchased a 3-month plan from us which includes postcards and a Special Connect Number which makes your jail calls with IC-solutions, Securus, GTL-link (or other provider) cheaper.
Our Special Connect numbers can work with any facility no matter what phone provider it is served by. We provided you with 100% working number. But to make it work for your inmate from facility, you needed to follow our instructions to register and fund it with your facility's provider.As explained, according to our terms and conditions which you agreed to during sign up - there is a non-refundable fee of $14.99. Your refund has been already processed.

I called and spoke to 2 reps from this company. They both were rude and one of them hung up on me. This was not a good customer service experience at all. I initiated my complaint and requested for a full refund 6/12/24 via email. GTL is a company that provides necessary phone services to contact ones that are incarcerated. When someone is referred to GTL this company pops up and poses as the same company. I later found out from my bank that the same charges for phone services were the same as this company that I registered an account with. ( How ironic) ************ poorly and deceivingly had me register an account. What a way to scam someone. Once I registered an account with name, email and card info and a small tiny checkbox agreeing to terms.(That was it, enough to think, "well a simple registry,) ************ charged my card and directed me to the original GTL or Securus.( The right company for the purpose of getting in contact with ones incarcerated) ************ did not explain what they charged me for until after payment was made they send me a temporary (fake) phone number to use to save money and postcards that cost 52 cents to send to an inmate in Jail. This is a very disturbing setup to rob people and deceive them, in my case poor citizens that are already struggling to support my son that's currently incarcerated. I only had $50 to give my son that just received a 2 yr sentence for the first time and I was directed to this company that has the same name as the company you redirected me to after taking my money. My son is without food and phone calls because of y'all trickery. I am taking this very personally. I cried while dealing with this situation. I requested for a full refund instead I was told that only $31 would be refunded because ***** would go to company. ************ deserves to be non-existent! 0 stars 100 percent a waste of money time they hold out hoping you will relent to all the emails over ********************** the 2nd i wasnt changing my mind wanted a full refund then to be told my ***** hidden fee for a number that was usless due to being rejected by jail and jails provider of the name what a joke im gonna start a ********* discount call ******** better shut them down after hrs of trying to get refund i was told it would be ***** and another hr following there instructions to be put on hold and laughed at by real globaltelinkGlobalTel Network LLC Response

If I could give zero stars I would. This company is a scam. It is so close to the company GTL net where you add money for an inmate to call you. Normal companies tell you up front before you agree to a charge what the charge is. Not hidden somewhere. It was not anywhere I read, so I was mislead to believing this was a service for adding money to the phone number I have not get a new number. I did not agree to have this charged to my account. When I called the lady said she could not refund me. When I told her that I did not authorize this she said support will contact me through email. Their response is not professional nor customer service at all. I work retail as a manager and if someone was mislead by our company by hidden messages and charged we would be refunding them and taking care of our customers. Not this customer. As you can read from all these other complaints I'm surprised they are allowed to still be in business. You should be ashamed of yourselves not taking care of your customers or fixing the issue making sure your customers understand the cost. There is a reason there are 100s of reviews calling this a scam! Their price is not stated anywhere in their terms and conditions. I've read it repeatedly. It only says that you are agreeing to purchase a 3 month subscription. Imagine my surprise when I was charged $45.99!! I have not used the service at all. I immediately contacted them via phone, they won't answer, they say to leave a message and they will call back, but they don't, they send you an email saying "too bad, you agreed to the price" ....
