    Ive been going through some really tough times lately and my timeshare with BG is just adding to the stress of my situation. It feels overwhelming to have this hanging over my head, especially when Im already worried about keeping a roof over my familys head as this is my main priority, but they do not care and that is so upsetting and sad. Its sad that a multimillion-dollar company doesnt seem to understand the impact this is having on us. Ive reached out for help with canceling, but it feels like no one is listening. The stress of this situation is just so upsetting, and its hard to cope when the money we owe keeps increasing, especially since we know we cant use it.

    On 1/14/2025 I mailed a letter to The Fountains Resort of Bluegreen Vacations, which is the resort tied to my contract. This letter was addressed to the Resort Director, and it was delivered on 1/16/2025. I have yet to receive any response or acknowledgment. I feel compelled to share my experience so others are forewarned about the dishonesty and poor practices of this company.This all started back in July of 2024. I specifically asked if what we were being sold was a timeshare. I was directly told it was NOT. Trusting that information, we proceeded, only to discover months later during "orientation" that it is a timeshare agreement. This realization left me feeling deceived, betrayed, and frustrated. A representative of this company lied to my face without hesitation. I wrote this letter to get answers. This silence is infuriating, especially considering that I took the time explained in my letter how these events unfolded. I have no idea how to contact the correct person in their sales department or even reach someone in a position of authority. They make it impossible to get any assistance, leaving me as the owner feeling stuck. The sales representative, **** *****, gave me his "direct #" promising I could reach him anytime if I needed anything. When I attempted to call I was met with another lie. It is not his number. They have also informed me that if I want out of this agreement, I need to sell it myself. After being blatantly lied to, why should I be responsible for unloading this burden onto someone else? I wont lie to others just to make this companys mess someone else's problemThe emotional toll of this experience has been overwhelming. We wake up each day reminded of this mistake. They lure you in with promises of dream vacations, but none of it is true. Their dishonesty and lack of integrity have left us feeling disrespected and used. We deeply regret our decision and hope others can read my review to avoid them at all cost. IT IS A TIMESHARE!

    Bluegreen Vacations is a very overpriced timeshare. The units are rarely available unless yo book a year in advance. Then you have to spend 1/2 day listening to another sales pitch about buying more "points." The so called property you "bought" is not transferrable and nearly impossible to get rid of without paying a lawyer several thousand to get you out of their contract. The annual maintenance fee has doubled since we purchased. Their vacation facilities are little more than a glorified hotel and anyone could get a much better deal with Air B&B. DON'T BUY!!

    I’d give 0 stars if I could. I am an active duty service member on a fixed income. My wife and I sat through the initial presentation and got a cheaper optioned package for bi annual points, and we got another package with 2019 pricing for 10k points. We got hit in April for $1200 in maintenance fees, and then again in November for $2400 in maintenance fees for both contracts. The sales team said our fees would be the same with the new contract and that they wouldn’t change. I am so over this company. No option seems viable to exit this contract. I wish they would have an option for military members who don’t have the funds to just hand them $3000 a year in maintenance fees plus the mortgage payment. This has become more of a headache than what it’s worth. We never should have signed up for this crap. Nobody I talk to at Bluegreen can offer a solution other than paying the overdue maintenance fees to even list the timeshare for sale. I keep getting the run around. There should be a military clause or option for service members to break the contract due to lies and deceitful sales tactics. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Very unhelpful, I just want out of this money pit.

    Bluegreen vacations took my money making me believe I could take my 3 night stay anytime. And then contacted me that it would be expiring soon if I didnt use! Dont recommend themrip off ********

    Hi there,I hope this note finds you well. I really hope that you can help us with a tricky situation. We're dealing with a timeshare purchase, and we're hoping the Better Business Bureau can lend a hand. And we want to let everyone know to not buy a timeshare with Bluegreen!Just to give you a bit of background, my family and I were talked into buying a timeshare -something we had no interest in to begin with. The sales team came on strong and wouldn't let up, and before we knew it, and since they wouldnt let us go, we were signing papers that made us the owners of a timeshare. That was a decision made under duress and we've been regretting it ever since.We've tried to cancel the contract many times, but the company's not helping. *******, one of the **** I managed to get a hold of a couple of days ago, wouldn't even pay attention to us. She pretty much dismissed us off-hand, saying nothing could be done without hard evidence that we were misled which, let's be honest, is nearly impossible to provide after the *******, here we are, feeling duped and frustrated while the company that's supposed to be serving us washes their hands clean. This ordeal has been tough on our family, to say the least, and I can't bear the thought of anyone else being treated this way.We're hoping that with your help, we can hold these folks accountable and finally get this timeshare off our hands.     I added a complaint concerning a review we had in Nashville, Tennessee a couple of months ago at which we were consistently promised services and products which have never been delivered. I have had several conversation via email and telephone with Bluegreen upper management in Florida since and after their investigation of the issue they said that since we had no proof or evidence there was nothing they could do about it. My advice is to record every review with BlueGreen. They are only interested in getting your money.

    I have not even made it to check in and hear what they Bluegreen has to offer. I am already disappointed and uninterested in ever using Bluegreen ever again. The contact is horrible. I can't get anyone on the phone and have email several times and have yet to receive call back or a response to an email. I am dreading even taking the trip and really wish I hadn't signed up. I will be warning everyone I know and come in contact with to stay far, far away from Bluegreen!

    Bluegreen Vacations will take advantage of you! ** NOT sign any contracts with them! They used lies and deceitful sales tactics to coerce me into signing a contract with them. I attended a presentation in ********, ** with 3 friends that I brought along for the mini vacation they offered us. The presentation started with a salesman lying to everyone! He said we would not be buying a specific week in a specific location. He said that was the old timeshares. He claimed that as a member of their Vacation Club, you purchase points and then spend them like cash to book your accommodations. Actually, I found out later that I did buy a specific week at a specific resort. Because everything is a lie!They also don't tell you that the program also has "tiers" or "levels". Each level costs more and the more you pay the farther out you can book your accommodations. If you purchase the smallest amount of points for $16,000!!! you get the last pick of the resorts and hotels. What is left are the lower quality rooms and the months with the worst weather conditions. They spoke about a "buy back" program as if it would be an easy way out if you changed your mind. It doesn't really exist!I could go on and on about how terrible the program is and how I was led to believe that this club would allow me grandiose accommodations for my future vacations, just to find out it is not at all possible.I am now burdened with this financial obligation that holds no value for me!!Again, please DO NOT sign anything!!! RUN!!

    Our experience with Bluegreen has been nothing but regret and stress since we purchased a timeshare in November 2019. During the presentation, we felt pressured into a decision we werent ready to make. We were sold on the dream of frequent travel but werent given clear guidance on how to use the timeshare or the full financial implications, especially the rising annual maintenance ******* the time, we were unmarried, had few financial responsibilities, and hoped to travel often. Life has since changedwe got married, bought a small farm, and now have two young children. Our busy schedules and finances make using the timeshare impossible, and figuring out how to use it is far too complicated. Four years later, weve never used it once, yet were continually burdened by escalating maintenance fees that have become unmanageable.The lack of transparency from Bluegreens representatives worsened our situation. Key names include ****** ******* (Sales Representative), ****** ****** (Inventory Specialist), and **** ********* ****************** Specialist) from the initial purchase, and ******* ******** and ****** **** from a later upgrade through the Utah office. Their misleading sales tactics left us stuck with something we didnt need.This timeshare has caused significant financial strain and immense stress on our family. We deeply regret this purchase and strongly advise others to avoid Bluegreen entirely. If we could go back, wed walk away without hesitation. We want out!
