Can this be made a zero ? One star is too high for Bluegreen.PC Bayside Resort will lie cheat and sell you a Amercan Express new line of credit that has zero percent interest when making a Hiton purchase.STAY AWAY. We have called 3 times been called back telling they will take care of it but Bluegreen has done nothing to back the lies the representative told us. I have contacted American Express so they know Bluegreen and Hilton are mis representing there brand. I and my wife are done with anymore sales lies and definitely no more purchases SanfordBluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

My family's experience with BlueGreen Vacations was an absolute disaster that I wish I could warn every potential customer about. What started as a seemingly innocent "free vacation" pitch at a Bass Pro/Cabela's store in 2018 quickly devolved into a traumatic, high-pressure sales ordeal that robbed us of both our time and money. The initial presentation was supposed to be a quick, but it turned into an endless, manipulative 3-hour meeting where we were literally prevented from leaving. With our four teenage children waiting and growing increasingly frustrated, we were systematically worn down by aggressive salespeople who refused to let us exit until we signed their contract. The lies and misrepresentations were countless. They promised exotic vacations to ******, ******* and other dream destinations, but in reality, we discovered these were impossible to book. The sales team conveniently omitted critical information about skyrocketing maintenance fees, the financial burden that would be passed on to our children, and the near-impossible task of actually using our purchased points. We were bullied into two separate purchases totaling over $4,000, with each sales meeting feeling more like a hostage negotiation than a voluntary transaction. Even worse, we've only managed to use our timeshare points once in all these years, rendering our investment completely worthless. To add insult to injury, we later learned that selling the timeshare is practically impossible. BlueGreen's own resale service requires additional fees for a listing that will likely never result in a sale. Save yourself the heartache, financial drain, and emotional stress. This timeshare is a trap designed to exploit unsuspecting families. I cannot emphasize enough: DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING WITH BLUEGREEN VACATIONS!Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

Translation: As a family in search of memorable vacation experiences, we fell into the classic timeshare trap, and boy, do we regret it. What began as a seemingly innocent presentation at Bass Pro Shop quickly turned into a financial nightmare that has left us feeling duped and trapped. What they don't tell you upfront are the astronomical additional costs. Our dream of visiting Mexico annually became a financial burden, and points became nearly impossible to use effectively. Even after achieving their supposed "Gold" status, booking a vacation remained a herculean task. The sales tactics are, plain and simple, predatory. They deliberately target families, using emotional manipulation and promises of future benefits. Multiple high-pressure meetings, often hours long with our children present, felt more like hostage negotiations than legitimate business discussions. Most outrageous? Their attempt to drag our adult children into this financial quagmire. The company presented the timeshare as an inheritance, carefully concealing the potential debt and financial hardship they would inherit. Our experience with Hilton Grand Vacations was a complete financial disaster. Save yourself the pain and stay away from this timeshare ****!

I signed up for this TS 24 years ago and only used their resorts 5 times and spent over $25k. I was so unimpressed with their resorts I have not used it in 15 years. Even if I wanted to my points won’t get me a booking anywhere. This is one of the most deceptive companies I have ever come in contact with. They will sell you lies! Their resorts are unkept and dirty. As soon as you arrive they will pester you over and over to attend an owners update where their sales reps and managers will tell you whatever to get you to buy more points. The maintenance fees will never stop and they keep going up!! The sales reps will lie to you and tell you can get rid of it, which simply is not true! I have tried to get out of it and they will tell you to gift to a friend or family member, sell it (couldn’t give it away) or better yet they want you to spend more $$ to get out. ******!! STAY AWAY. These timeshare companies should be illegal and liable for their deceptive actions! If I could give them 0 stars I would!Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

if i could give 0 stars, I would. My wife and I were basically conned and trapped into purchasing a plan that literally doesn't even give us enough points to do anything or go anywhere, which is not something they tell you when you purchase. The "hour long" presentation turned into almost 8 hours of negotiating after we told them no multiple times but they just kept insisting and promising more and more things that ultimately became lies. 8 hours. That was my entire day. They show you all the beautiful resorts not telling you that if you ever want to stay there for more than just 2 nights its going to be thousands and thousands of points. They also don't tell you that points expire and you need to pay to roll them over, but then you can only use them in "off seasons". Every single time we have tried to book anything, there has been an issue and this has been the most expensive mistake of my life. Not to mention that these people don't care that they are conning you and anytime you travel to one of their resorts they force you into an "hour long presentation" that turns into many hours of them trying to get you to buy more points and you politely saying no and they won't let you leave no matter how many times you say no. It's disgusting what these people do.Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

I had called Bluegreen after finally finding a number for responsible exit strategy. The guy was helpful and told me some options but that I was gonna have to calm the mortgage department and see what they would offer. When I fianlly got a hold of someone there, she informed me that they "were reviewing the policies and didn't have an offer for me at this time." The lady couldn't tell me when that would be done either; it sounded completely fabricated. I have since tried to call again but no one even answers and I've left voicemails. I'm gonna start all over again.Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

We were exposed to Bluegreen Vacations at a Pro Bass Shop, where they were advertising a Florida stay if you sat through a presentation. We chose St. Petersburg and were able to bring my brother and sister-in-law. We were led to believe that all the resorts were top quality, but our room was not top notch—my brother called it second rate. For the presentation, we were taken to a different location than our hotel where there were ten other couples, each assigned to a salesperson to talk about what they had to offer. We spoke to multiple agents for at least 3 hours, sometimes spending lengthy spaces of time waiting for them to return as we wanted to receive the benefits that we were promised for attending. We kept being pushed towards a large package, but we did not want to take out a loan to pay for it. We eventually took a small package of points and opened a Bluegreen Mastercard to pay for it. We were led to believe we would accumulate enough points to help pay off the yearly maintenance fees. It was quite a shock to learn that no matter how much we used the card, the points were a pittance and DID NOT cover the fees as was described by the agent. We were also led to believe that the value of the package would increase over time and that we could sell it in the future, but that bubble popped when we stayed in a location that lacked so many amenities that we had to bring in plasticware to eat our food. As retirees in our 70’s, we had envisioned a wonderful retirement, traveling the country. Bluegreen salespeople completely took advantage of us, lied about what they were selling and bilked us out of $12,000 for five mostly lousy vacations. The quality of the “resorts” we stayed was more resembling of a Motel/Hotel than the amazing resort experience we were promised. Considering these circumstances Bluegreen should step up and cancel our timeshare contract.Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

Ive been going through some really tough times lately and my timeshare with BG is just adding to the stress of my situation. It feels overwhelming to have this hanging over my head, especially when Im already worried about keeping a roof over my familys head as this is my main priority, but they do not care and that is so upsetting and sad. Its sad that a multimillion-dollar company doesnt seem to understand the impact this is having on us. Ive reached out for help with canceling, but it feels like no one is listening. The stress of this situation is just so upsetting, and its hard to cope when the money we owe keeps increasing, especially since we know we cant use it.Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

On 1/14/2025 I mailed a letter to The Fountains Resort of Bluegreen Vacations, which is the resort tied to my contract. This letter was addressed to the Resort Director, and it was delivered on 1/16/2025. I have yet to receive any response or acknowledgment. I feel compelled to share my experience so others are forewarned about the dishonesty and poor practices of this company. This all started back in July of 2024. I specifically asked if what we were being sold was a timeshare. I was directly told it was NOT. Trusting that information, we proceeded, only to discover months later during "orientation" that it is a timeshare agreement. This realization left me feeling deceived, betrayed, and frustrated. A representative of this company lied to my face without hesitation. I wrote this letter to get answers. This silence is infuriating, especially considering that I took the time explained in my letter how these events unfolded. I have no idea how to contact the correct person in their sales department or even reach someone in a position of authority. They make it impossible to get any assistance, leaving me as the owner feeling stuck. The sales representative, **** *****, gave me his "direct #" promising I could reach him anytime if I needed anything. When I attempted to call I was met with another lie. It is not his number. They have also informed me that if I want out of this agreement, I need to sell it myself. After being blatantly lied to, why should I be responsible for unloading this burden onto someone else? I wont lie to others just to make this companys mess someone else's problemThe emotional toll of this experience has been overwhelming. We wake up each day reminded of this mistake. They lure you in with promises of dream vacations, but none of it is true. Their dishonesty and lack of integrity have left us feeling disrespected and used. We deeply regret our decision and hope others can read my review to avoid them at all cost. IT IS A TIMESHARE!Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.
