Have only been a member for 5 years on the smallest package that they sold at that time. I have mostly used my points to book the SeaGlass Tower in Myrtle Beach (been there several times). Which I enjoy very much. It is always clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. However, my one complaint is that I don't care to be constantly asked to attend review meetings. If I have questions, I will ask. If I intend to buy more, I will contact them. Vacation time is short and I don't care to spend several hours sitting in what amounts to be a sales meeting.Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM What a horrible company, it is a constant up sale, the sales pitch was outstanding in the beginning, but what they do not tell you is that if you are not a bronze, silver, gold or platinum member then you do not matter. Ever visit is an up sale or some crap meeting. They want to provide you with the best experience as long as you have more points and higher maintenance fees. I am sure if you are a platinum member this may be a great company, but I am not a platinum member and I am unsatisfied. This company is not for the middle to lower class citizens. Just some numbers to make you think, I have 8000 points, maintenance fees are $1098.40 (breaks down to 0.14 a point) and I had an initial purchase price of a $1.50 a point and with all the other fees in was close to $15,000, I can sale those points back for about $0.15 a point, so that money is gone, which is the only reason I am still an owner. So to be platinum you need 60,000 points, the price per point changes constantly, my last sales pitch I was offered $3.50 a point. That would cost me $182,00 for another 52,000 points to make a platinum member. If I had that money I would not need a timeshare company to help book vacations, (maintenance fees on that would be $8,400 a year). There is no amount of vacations you could take in a year to justify spending this kind of money. And to top it off, there is a website where you can buy unwanted points that are bluegreen owners that want out of the company, but those points do not count toward your membership status. Because those points can be purchased a lot cheaper. BlueGreen Vacations is a scam I hope that more and more people would realize that. And if the company would give me back some of my money I would be gone in a heartbeat.Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

1 starThis COMPANY is a DUMPSTER (FIRE.) First they utilize 1980s tactics by having their sales reps attack you like pariahs, lying to you (stating you’ll stay at the resort, then they switch it to a rundown motel 3 weeks before it’s time to travel,) then you get to sit and listen to a sales pitch, where completion is required to receive said cookie aka. $75 gift card. Except by completion they mean you’ve got to complete every step. SOOO let me get this straight…What corporate DIP thought it was a good idea to put potential clientele in a motel off of resort ground and expect people to drive to the presentation. Also further more I am counting at least 3 violations that could open your company to substantial litigation if some gets hurt “attending” one of these so called “Getaway Experience.” Either your employee lied or it was your company? So which was it? Because your either going to tell the truth or throw your employees under the bus for a tactic you know you taught them. BBB, this company needs that A+ REVOKED..(mic drop) see you in courtReview fromJessica D

I cannot believe this cult of a company scammed my husband and I. In 2020 a sales rep in Bass Pro had Bluegreen vacation in their store. A sales rep by the name of Jesie sold us a $179 3 night vacation anywhere where Bluegreen has hotel/resorts. I was extremely skeptical and stated there has to be a catch. She kept saying no, I asked if there was some time share we had to sit through she stated absolutely not, we as a company know how hard times have been and we want people out having fun which is why Bluegreen is giving the allowance of booking up to two years. We were manipulated and scammed. Upon booking you are told you and your partner are required to sit in a 2 hour time share presentation. I have a 4 year old, do you think he would sit through something I have no interest in? The response was , " we have kids clubs". Absolutely not! I'm not schlepping my child who is home with me 24/7 to an unknown environment where he knows no one. I'm an odd parent and do not allow someone I don't know to watch my child and I refuse to waste my valued time in a presentation. DO NOT buy from these people. I would rather spend an additional 3k on an air bnb in any location and not sit in a time share.Bluegreen Vacations Unlimited, Inc.

1 starI am a long time Blue Green owner. I only have the obligation to pay annual fees. Last year in April, I had a stroke. As a result of that stroke I can longer drive a car. So I can’t go to any Blue Green facility. I have tried to get them to cancel the billing for fees for a service I cannot use. They have refused. I tried to speak to one of their attorneys. They refused that too. My lesson: Never have anything to do with Blue Green. Their message that they are here to help you have a great vacation is a lie. They exist to take your money. Period. Don’t have anything to do with them.Review fromDon C

1 starIf you looked up "slimy salespeople" on Wikipedia, there should be a picture of a smiling Bluegreen rep staring back at the camera. Smiling because they're proud to mislead you. Their sales teams have contests about who can take the oldest people in the room into the worst deal. They're. Just. Bad. People. Like the head-hunting issue in the NFL, these people actually prey on their client's pain and inability to understand what is being thrown at them, not given an opportunity to read what they are signing, come up with every excuse in the book about why we couldn't come back the next day, and (let me say it again for the people in the back) actually have contests about who can rip the most unsuspecting of people off. And they are greedy and uncaring. Need proof? We stopped paying due to how bad this company is. NOT ONCE did someone contact us to see if anything was wrong, if we were dead, if they had made a mistake. NOPE. They just turned us over to collections. They don't care about you. They just care about your money.
