      2 of the front windows do not work properly..........One only opens 1/2 way.......The other one opens all the way........There are sort of ************* that don't work properly. They need to be greased, or replaced or whatever........We made 3 phone calls....No response........We sent them a fax on October 19.......No response..........We need a repairman to fix this problem

      On 08/18/2023, I met with Paradise Exteriors sales rep in my home who made offer to replace my damaged roof and demanded down-payment of $4911 in order to receive a discounted price of $49,117 for the work. I signed attached agreement forms by computer using digital signature method. (No paper copy of agreement was provided.) Agreement digital copy was emailed to me containing pages to be used for cancellation and stating cancel option would end on 08/22/2023 (only 2 bus. days later). I chose to cancel on 08/22/2023 and signed the digital form using my computer and emailed the sales manager my signed cancellation forms with refund request of my deposit on 08/22/2023 [copy to the salesman]. Receipt of cancellation by sales manager was confirmed by his return email on the following day stating he was refusing my cancellation as it was by email. Contract stipulated only 48 hrs available for cancelling by "mail" (postal not stipulated). Denial email dated on 08/23/2023 was past his 48 hrs cancelling limit. Copy of my cancellation email was also sent to home office email address on 09/07/2023. The firm later requested my email signature for a "notice of commencement"!!! (not done) They never replied to my many requests for refund..

      I am rejecting this response because: 

      On 08/22/2023, I sent Sales Manager ****************** the signed and dated CANCELLATION FORM from the contract that I signed on 08/18/2023.  A message was attached to the form with the following statement:

      "I hereby cancel the repair contract immediately on August 22nd, 2023. 
      See attachment of your form showing my cancelation signed digitally by myself.
      Please refund my $4911.00 deposit."

      ****************** replied to my cancellation by email on 08/23/2023.  The contract with its cancellation and the email messages from me and the reply from ****************** were submitted to the BBB with my complaint. You may need to read all of my submissions at BBB to verify the information.

      The copy of my signed and dated cancellation form from the original contract is online at *** as well.

      This should make the matter clear to the business.

      Thank you so much for all of your assistance which now has resulted in full compliance by the company despite its insistence that they never received my cancellation messages.

      I have receive full payment of my $4911 refund by check which has been deposited.

      You may now close this case.  I would ask that you keep a record of how this company repeatedly lied about receiving my cancellation despite my submitting evidence that it was received by the sales manager within the 2 business days they had requested for cancellation. (Not the 3 days set by ******* law.)

      I orderd windows in May of this year and still do not have them. We have been called and told they would be late 9/15/23. After all of these months they still cant ell me where they are and wont be scheduked for installation until they arrive and are now scheduling in OCTOBER!!!. It is amazing that no body can tell me wher the truck for today is and no way of finding out if windows are on it. I have a sick wife that needs to be in another state (**) for doctors and climate. our house here is to be sold but no buyers because no windows!! And we cannot begin to lok for new home until we get there. THERE SEEMS TO BE NOBODY AT PARADISE EVEN WILLING TO CALL AND CHECK STATUS.

      It was Jan 28th I signed a contract for 10 windows. I was told **** weeks It's now July 11th 2023 and I still don't have my windows or even a date for installation They won't return my deposit so I could cancel them. I feel like I was scammed Barely no communication from them

      We received the approved permit 6/8/23.

      Product has been ordered with an *** of 9/15/23.

      Paradise Exteriors spoke with the customer letting them know when the permit was approved and the *** for the products.

      We will be contacting the customer once the product is in our warehouse to schedule the installation.

      Per line 10 of the Additional Terms and Conditions of this Agreement of the contract.

      10. ***** agrees that in the event of a breach of this Agreement or cancelling after the rescission period has expired, all deposits are forfeited, and Buyer is financially liable to Paradise Exteriors for the cost of any materials ordered, all out of pocket expenses,and any loss of profit for this transaction.

      I am rejecting this response because: I was verbally told by the sales rep that it would be **** weeks. I signed the contract without reading it trusting what ******* told me

      They waited months to get the permit from the town. I've had the permit from the *** since April and there's no waiting for finances. They knew I was paying cash or check.

      They are very poor in communicating and slow to get anything done

      I have no choice but to stay with the contract but will never recommend them to anyone

      On 4/27/23, a final inspection was done at my property for the impact-rated hurricane window and door installation. It was found that the bathroom window balance rod is off and it prevents the window from staying open. See picture.It has been more than two months and there are no updates on when I can expect to get this fixed and the final inspection done to complete this work.

      1. We ordered windows in Mid Feb 2022 2. Windows were promised to be installed as early as April 2022 or as late as June 2022. They were not even close to promised dates.3. They attempted to install 6 of the ********************* August of 2022. Four of the six were mismeasured and were not installed then.4. They tried to collect full value in August of 2022 and threatened to put a lien on our home even after installing only 2 of the windows.5. They attempted to install the remainder of the order in Jan 2023 but brought back the same mismeasured windows, plus the remainder of the order. They never corrected the mismeasured windows. They just had a different crew attempt to install. That caused us to have to find someone to repair the drywall they had to cut out.6. One of the mismeasured windows was damaged with a leak between the panes before they even installed it and they were aware of the problem.7. We paid in full in Jan 2023 because they again threatened a lien. We assumed they would repair the window with the leak.8. They said it would be delivered in May. It is now June 2023 and there is no estimate of when the defective window will be replaced.9. The managers voice mail is full and has not returned a request to call us with a real date of when the window will be repaired.This company in no way deserves a 5 star rating. They attempt to take advantage of senior citizens by not addressing issues with their work or product.

      I signed a contract on Dec. 5, 2022 with Paradise Exteriors ****************** They are to install 19 windows and a sliding door in my manufactured home. I gave them a $2,900.00 deposit and signed a contract with ********* financial to pay off balance in 12 months - interest free.As of today May 31, they have not been installed. Worse yet, they have not responded to numerous phone calls - where I never got a "human" to speak today. Left repeated voice messages with no reply. Just called again and "voicemail is full" so cannot leave a message. Received a text message responding to a call made on MARCH 28, stating office closed for holiday. Agent will call on Tuesday, May 30. No calls received. Also have tried contacting salesman. Again messages left, no call back. After reading the complaints regarding this company, and lack of response, I will look into canceling the contract.

      On February 20 2023 I signed a co tract with Paradise Exteriors for the job of installing a new shingles on my home. Included in the job was the removal of the old damaged tarps that were installed shortly after the hurricane last year, removal of the old shingles, repair of damaged section of roof, and installation of new shingles and underlayment materials. To this date the old tarps have not been removed and the water intrusion has gotten worse on my home. After several emails and photos showing that the old tarps were never removed and new ones were never installed I was laughed at when asking why I wasn't getting the services I contracted for. After being laughed at in the background of a phone call with a training customer service specialist, I was told that the local office could no longer help me and that I needed to speak to the manger at the home office, ****. After speaking to **** on the phone and him giving me his direct number and promising me a return phone call the next day, that I did not receive, I called again and left a voicemail that got no response. At this time there is no start date for my project, half the tarp that was covering my roof has been destroyed and is in the neighborhood and in my pool, and I'm getting no return phones or emails. At this time my ceilings are getting further damaged because of the continued water intrusion, that I was told at the signing of the contract, would be mitigated with the installation of the new tarps that were to be installed. I've provided date stamped photos and videos to Paradise Exteriors showing that the work the crew that they had supposedly contracted to tarp my roof, never happened. I've ask for a representative to come to my home and see first hand what is really going on instead of looking at photos, videos, and text messages and see for themselves the damage, I was told that I live too far away for that, but not too far to have a contract for $18,000 for work that has never been done.

      I hired this company to do my roof and rear sliding door. First off they did a bad job on the sliding doors and took 2 weeks to come fix it. The guy who installed it said thats the best he could do and left it like that. The next guy flipped the door and seen that one of the wheels was too tight and not spinning. He was able to fix it within 5 minutes. The other thing was that the brand new screen door already had the screen falling apart. They tucked it back in with a s**** driver. Im not convinced this will last long with that expertise so I havent even used it. Now in my patio they promised to switch out rotted wood which they did. Unfortunately they didnt take the steps to cut the wood and put it in to match the rest of the patio. When I told them how I felt they sent someone over to fix it. The work looks horrible. It seems as if it was chiseled little by little uneven all throughout. The project in total cost $26,000. I shouldnt have to settle for bad work because their employees didnt cut the would before placing it. Which they obviously agree with since they sent someone to cut it. Now they are threatening me with fines if I dont sign off on this unsatisfactory work and send payment. I promise you your money is better off elsewhere. I added the text message in the photo. If your not satisfied with their work they will charge you 18% till you get over it and pay. As a disabled veteran Im limited on what I can do. I expected better. Good luck.

      First, I had heard great things about Paradise Exteriors through others, so after having one other quote for impact window and door installation, I called them. The initial quote was alittle over 34k, but after a few "phone calls", the salesman managed to sell me their Softlite windows and 2 doors for 16k. However, right before the installation started the company called and said they "miscalculated" the amount of windows I needed, and need to sell me one more for, for I believe another $600. I was upset but paid for this "miscalculation". Please keep in mind that I was going to use the **** program to pay for this project but after all the fees that and interest that would have been attached, I instead used alot of my savings to pay using cash/cashiers check. After the installation, a few minor things were wrong with some of the windows and after I called a guy from the company came around and fixed them. Now, last week after I called and politely requested for someone to assist me with 2 windows that does not stay up completely, I received an email about hourly labor fees. What??? I called and inquired, and stated that the salesman said, and it's on your company website about the "lifetime labor warranty", and once you own your home, the labor would be free of charge for issues not involving abuse of the windows, intentional damage, etc. The lady said at first there's no warranty on labor, but after I explained "it's on your website" and started to read what it said, she had an epiphany, "Oh, that warranty"!, her demeanor seemed to change alittle ad she said "hmmm, I believe that warranty was never "scanned in" under your profile. Did you sent it back to us, signed within 30 days after the installation?" I responded that I sent every single thing back that I was supposed to, and made sure of it. And why would someone not send something back if it's that important. On Thursday, 12/22 the same lady said she would look into it. No response since then. Please help!!!
