New tile roof instated February 2022. Serious leak causing garage ceiling to sag and possibly fall on car. There is a eight year warranty on the roof. I have been calling several times per day over several days my calls go UNANSWERED. I need Rossi roofing to call me back and schedule fixing the leak in the roof before my garage ceiling caves in.Business response

We have reached our multiple times, our repair tech ********************* has also reached out to ************** and attempted to make an appointment and left ************* Multiple Voicemails with no call back. He had about 20 solar panels installed after his roof was completed several months after is roof was completed. This would technically void any warranty by having someone walking on the roof which is a mechanically fasten roof system.Customer response

There is no record on my phone or my computer of any messages from Rossi Roofing. I did receive a phone call from ********************* saying he would come to inspect the roof. He called after I had been calling Rossi Roofing for 3 weeks and getting no response from them. ********************* was unable to come the first time he said he was coming due to a brake down with his truck. He arrived the following day and found the roof over the garage where the leak was to be improperly installed. He discovered a large hole that had not been properly sealed. He was able to properly flash the defect he found. The repair took 2 hours to accomplish. The leak was caused do to a faulty installation by Rossi Roofing. The solar panels are no where near the garage roof. The only people to have ever been on the roof of the garage where Rossi employees. The leak was the result of improper installation of the roof over the garage. I asked **** if Rossi Roofing was responsible for repairing the damage to my garage ceiling which was caused by the leak. I have seen on the internet that it is a common complaint that Rossi Roofing does not respond to telephone calls and they repeatedly claim they do respond when in fact they don't. My experience with Rossi Roofing goes as follows: They delivered the wrong color tile from the wrong manufacturer. They failed the initial inspection by the Greenacres Bldg. ***** before the tile was installed. They took many months for the tile to be installed, causing complaints from the *** due to my incomplete roof being an eyesore.Customer response

Ceiling damage was super old according to the 30 year Repair Specialist ********************* who also tested the area with a moisture meter showing no results of moisture nor dampness, the homeowner refuses to take calls from ********* who is in Operations and sets up appointments, Warranties and projects. ********************* has several calls with the homeowner who did not answer his calls either, once the homeowner finally answered **** was out with in 72 hours. The homeowner has solar installed several months later with heavy foot traffic with out a rossi Representative on site to ensure no damage was done, this is a technicality which would void his warranty by not having a Rep form Rossi On siteBusiness response

The Homeowner failed to follow his warranty Guideline and his terms and conditions, he failed to follow up yearly to call to check in, he had another Company on his roof 1 year after the completion Of his roof with out our approval since his roof WAS Under our warranty. Solar panels installed as in June 2022 as noted in the green acres building department. ROOF INSTALLED Jan 2021 ********************** Roofing followed each standards to his calls, ************* Refuses to take calls from Ronald ********************** *** so **** reached out to him and left him a VM. ************* never returned the call, ********************* eventually spoke to ************* which ***** truck is in perfect condition, ************* was not available to see ********************* and was asked to reschedule. We eventually got **** out to ************* which was a courtesy due to him not following any of his guidelines to his warranty. **** tested the ceiling with a moisture meter showing no Moisture at all. ************* never let us Take pics inside the house as he only would deal with Nick ********************** a former employee who brought this job to us and worked for ************* as a consultant. The ceiling damage looked to be severally old and dry possibly predating the roof but it was definitely older then 72 hours which is required for him to give notice on the first sign of a leak which with this leak he did not, it was dry, cracking and should no signs of moisture, the roof stain was practically dry rot

On top of that all calls are answered by Rossi Roofing, all of them, if any call isnt answered by our office ********** call will automatically go to our call center as we have a virtual **** center so customer can speak to and can forward any call to a Ronald Rossi ** or any of the repair/Sales techs. I am rejecting this response because: In June 2021 Nick *********************** Son of *** Rossi Sr. ***** of Rossi Roofing agreed to have his son **** supervise the installation of a new tile roof. *** Rossi Sr. agreed to allow **** Rossi to install 6 solar tube ************* all solar power mounting hardware prior to the installation of the tiles. I gave a deposit and signed an agreement with Rossi Roofing to install a new tile roof on 6/29/2021. Rossi Roofing failed to obtain a work permit from Greenacres Bldg. ***** for over 3 months. Permit Listings: 10/19/21 Notice of Commence: Passed. 10/26/21 Roof Re-Roof in Progress: Inspection: FAILED. 1/21/22 Re-Roof ****************************** FAILED. 1/27/22 Re-Roof ************************** When the replacement tile for the roof was delivered, I realized it was not the tile I had ordered, It was the wrong color and the wrong manufacturer. *** Rossi *** told me I would have to pay a trucking fee to take the wrong tiles away. I would also have to re-pay the full amount to receive the tiles I was supposed to get which means I would have to pay twice, to get the tiles I ordered. He also said there would be a minimum wait for the tiles to be produced. This left me no choice but to install the incorrect tiles as I could not afford the cost or the wait for the tiles I was supposed to get. It took 3 months to complete the job once they started. This resulted in the *** complaining that my roof was an eyesore to the community.I called within 24 hours of being aware there was a leak in the roof over my garage. If you call the Rossi Roofing phone number, it is answered by a answering service. I believe this answering service keeps a log of phone calls which will prove I called Rossi Roofing over 10 times in a 3 week period. Rossi Roofing did not respond to any of my phone calls. There is no record of any voicemail or missed calls on my cell phone Rossi Roofing. I did receive a call from a person calling himself ********************* who told me he worked for Rossi Roofing and he would come to my home to inspect the leak in the garage roof. He said he would come to make the inspection on Friday afternoon April 19,2022. I receive a call from **** at about 12 noon that day and he explained his truck needed repairs and would not be coming to my home that day. He said if he had success getting his pick up truck repaired he would come to my home Saturday April 20,2022. He called me that day and said he would come to inspect the roof and he did. He did not do a moisture test in my garage and he did not take pictures. I escorted him into my attic and he immediately said he knew the cause of the leak. He went outside and put a ladder in front of my house and went on the roof over the garage. He removed several tiles and discovered a gap in the roofing which he sealed. He said this was a common error and this should have resolved the problem. I asked **** if Rossi Roofing was responsible for repairing my damaged garage ceiling. He told me I would have to call Rossi Roofing to find that out. Since Rossi Roofing had failed to respond to approximately 10 phone calls over a 3 week period, I doubt I will have any hope of having a telephone conversation with Rossi Roofing. In the past I have had very unpleasant conversations with *** Rossi *** He has been rude, confrontational, and extremely unpleasant. I have left repeated requests for *** Rossi Sr. to please call me. As I have no desire to every be insulted by *** Rossi ***

Roof was completed in April and is leaking and causing damage inside of the property We have made multiple attempts to reach out to Rossi Roofing and have and they are not returning any calls If at the very least they would have contacted us and were aware of the issue I would not be making this complaint The warranty is worth nothing if the don't return calls and if I use another roofer the warranty is void anyway so I have ************** hereBusiness response
