  In February 2024 much to my dismay, I was forced to vacate my apartment after 2 years of documented complaints from me to upper management regarding the tenant below me. As a single woman living above 3 grown men, I had numerous complaints, concerns & the final straw came when threats were made against ******* dog from the tenants. Much to my continued disappointment, Solana Vista made zero efforts to address my concerns, & as a woman I felt my safety at the premises was no longer possible. After going face-to-face with my concerns to management I was advised to, "do whatever I needed to do", and just give them a date on when I'd move out. At no point was any mention of a fine, penalty or large balance ever discussed. I left the Assistant Manager with my forwarding address, they had my cell phone number and email, but again, after vacating the property on 2/26/24, I never heard from them again. During the time of my departure, I did send emails inquiring about a balance and was told, "can't you read your lease", to which I continued to ask for a final statement. It wasn't until 2 months later when I received a notice from a collection's agency, that I even knew of a balance totaling nearly $6,000. Throughout my 8 years at the property Solana had every mode of communication for me, and it wasn't until I had to vacate the property for fear of my own ******* **** dog's, did they suddenly lose the ability to contact me. I made every effort to determine what my final balance (if any) would be, & to-date, I've received nothing in writing from this organization regarding a balance. Frankly, the balance with the collection's agency cannot be valid, as I was never notified by Solana directly, despite providing them with a forwarding mailing address AND having my mail forwarded from their property. I am actually registered with ***** ****** have zero record of any mail ever being sent from Solana to me. This balance is not valid, their practices are illegal & unethical.
