      On 6/6/24 I was trying to log into irs.gov/opa to set up a small payment plan with the *** per their letter. When I put this in the *** it looked like the *** popped up. It asked to put in information to qualify for a payment plan. I did that. It asked for a payment to approve the plan. I paid it. All while looking like Im on the *** website. BUT i was not. 97 Tax is a predatory and deceiving company and they make it look like you are on the *** site when in fact they intervene somehow. This is a predatory practice. I demand a full refund. They charge $129 to send you a form. I will be contacting the Attorney General and the *** to let them know.

      I requested a payment plan for my 2023 IRS tax year bill of $11,******. The prompt came back and communicated I qualified for a payment of $163.00 a month for 72 months. When I accepted the payment arrangement, I then received a confirmation reflecting a Monthly payment of $11, ****** Dollars instead of a monthly payment of $163.00. This made me very skeptical of the amount we would be charged every month. I gave them my social security number and my wife's social security number. I am concerned our revealed information can be used for Identity Theft. I would like a refund of the $129.00 paid to them to set up an IRS payment plan.

      I reached out to 97tax.com to get some information about paying off my *** taxes.. I spoke to ************************* right around July 14th she said that she would escalate the payment plan and everything would be sent to me after 7 to 10 days there was nothing that was sent another 7 to 10 days went by I called again and she said they were working on it after several phone calls back and forth there was no other information for me to do meantime the *** contacted me to make up a payment plan I called ******* again to refund $****** because there was no action taken on helping me with the payment planand I never received my refund from 97texts.com for $****** All I am asking for is the refund of ****** for services not rendered Thank you for your time

      We attempted to set up an o line payment to the *** and was re-routed to 97tax....when we spoke on the phone to the *** they stated this company is not affiliated with them and cannot set up payment plans.

      I went online to set up an IRS payment plan and unknowingly was deferred to 97Tax link. The website asked numerous questions and I assumed the company was processing on behalf of the **** I eventually spoke with an IRS representative, who advised me the company does not process setting up installment plans on the government's behalf. Additionally, the representative explained to me, because my Tax preparer had filed 2021 Amended Tax Return, I just had to make voluntary payments at this time. I didn't need my taxes prepared, nor did I request this service. I thought I was setting up IRS installment payments. I feel the company fully misrepresented itself and I'm demanding a full refund $119.00 immediately.

      I am rejecting this response because: I contacted the 97Tax business owner at ************ and spoke with ***************** Service Representative who stated the owner, and supervisor wasn't available. I explained the nature of my call and requested a refund. She said she would pass the message on to management. I'm extremely unhappy with the company overall handling and fear they're performing deceptive business practices.

      I didn't need their services. The *** Representative stated they mailed out the notification for me to begin making voluntary payments. My tax preparer had already filed my 2021 Amended tax return and I was advised the department is backlogged; processing time ***** weeks. Once 2021 Amended tax return is reconciled my 2022 taxes owed will be significantly less than reflected.

      I would like a full refund to apply to my tax bill.

      On June 21, 2023 I had gone on line to the Internal Revenue Payment Plan site and answered the questions to see I qualified to doof a Payment plan. Once qualified, I provded the information requested. After everything thing was done I noticed, it was not the **** but a 97tax company! Being fearful I looked to make sure it was at least a real company. Once I felt it was located in ******* I felt a little better. Now I have read, that the *** will not even except the paperwork they supposedly prepare for you! They charged me $129.00 for this service. Even worse, the number they give you to enter and check your paperwork status doesn't work. My main concern is that I have given my information to someone that will use it to commit fraud. I don't think I will use the paperwork anyway. Just want to ensure they are what they claim to be!! Thank you!!

      My husband logged on to ***.gov to set up a payment plan. Somehow in the process, 97Tax popped up and my husband thought it was a part of the *** site. This site collected all of our information and the appeared to set up a payment plan and billed my husband $119 via debit card to send a "packet" for submission to the ***. This was not the official *** site and appears to be a scam. We are concerned that all of our information was taken and could be used for fraud. We want a full refund and this company investigated as to how this so easily was popping up in connection with the official *** site to deceive and collect fees, Social Security numbers and very sensitive information.

      We never received any communication about this issue directly from the customer, please contact us directly for immediate resolutions of customer service issues. We are a private tax preparation company. Upon attempting to issue a full refund, I have found that the customers credit card has been closed or cancelled. The bank will now allow a refund to the original payment method. Instead, we are happy to mail a check for the refund. Please confirm the customers mailing address.
