      I signed a contract to get my car painted and they did not honor the contract even though its raining in the contract of what are the specifics of what needed to be done on the vehicle when I went to pick up the car today they reviewed the issue. I paid my bill in full, and he broke the contract, but I fulfilling it and I would like to file a complaint for The lies that they said to me when I dropped off the car, what was going to be done for the car? It was written in the contract and they didnt fulfill their obligation.

      The customer did not indicate when they had their vehicle in the shop and I could not find a work order in customer's name.

      If they could please provide a work order or give more specific details as to what shop they visited and when they were there, it would be most helpful and we could then proceed to address their concerns.

      Brought my car here to have the roof painted due to sun damage on the roof only. They painted my roof a different color then the rest of my car!! I noticed upon pick up but they told my wife (she picked it up) that it would look correct when it dried. 3 weeks later, it was still a silver color when my car is gray. I called and they said to drop it off to be re done which I did. Upon picking up the second time, it was worse then the first. I picked up after hours so no one was there to complain to. I called the next business day and they got an attitude with me saying they already lost money on me by having to paint it a second time. Then, they said they told me prior to the first paint that it would not match correctly. First of all, I did a night drop and spoke to no one before the job was done. Second of all. If that was true, why would they even repaint it a second time? I asked for my money back so I could go somewhere else and get it done and was told NO by the manager. The manager would not escalate my call to the owner even though I asked. Please help me get my money back so I can take my car somewhere else to have them fix their poor work

      I took my car in for paint 3x times to redue the terrible paint quality and severe scratches to the body on all panels. The crew tried to repaint car and instead f...d it up 4x times worse and destroyed my headliner and left my quarter panel with so little paint it looks like a cement floor vs a paint job. They charged about $900 +$100 tip before seeing car for job that was just terrible and then caused another $2000 in damages plus lost time and lost wages for lack of people not doing car in timely manner the 2nd and 3rd time over. Then the crew destroyed my headliner in my *** with finger prints and tore up my Sunroof. I have updated photos before and after car was in econos shop in largo florida and no damages, so I will ****** be seeking reimbursement of $2000.00 to cover a new paint job at a different facility and replacement of my headliner for my *** or I ******************************* paint in 1 week for *** damages! I am willing to take it to another econo at econos cost and repaint my car the right way and replace my headliner if they so choose at econos cost not mine. I will require that in writing if you are going to redue my car for free and replace my headliner or repair free of charge vs me *** your terrible company. Email me or contact me immediately no response by Friday 5pm 05/31/2024 is a result you choose for me to *** your company for *** damages which will be around $8000.00 Thank you.

      On 05/14/24, I dropped off my 2015 Dodge Charger to be painted and four new auto parts to be replaced, which were purchased and provided to the ECONO paint shop. On 05/17/24, ********, Manager of ECONO informed me in person that the automobile would be ready for pickup on 05/18/24 at approximately 10:00 am. On 05/18/24, I arrived with my mother at 11:00 am and no employees were attending the front desk. More customers came in after us while we were waiting. ******** arrived at 11:30 am and serviced all the customers after me. At 12:30 pm, ******** finally attended to us. My vehicle was taken out of the garage with unfinished work, damaged, dismantled, disheveled, filthy, and with visible non-operable tail lights and sensor lights. I complained to ******** and questioned why the work was not completed as written on the work order. He stated that ECONO is not a Body Shop. However, they claimed they could do the bodywork, charged me for it and I paid for it. I asked for a refund for the work that was not completed and ******** refused to ***** me credit. I asked ******** for my warranty and he refused to give me one in writing. Then, I called *****, the Manager of ECONO Paint in ********, and asked him to help me get my warranty from ********. After receiving the call from **************************** became outraged and drove my car back into the garage and locked the doors. He informed us the shop was closed and we needed to leave. I stated I would not be leaving without my vehicle. I paid him in full in cash because he refused to accept credit cards or checks. My vehicle is missing all the parts they removed and ******** refused to return them to me. The paint is already chipping away since it was painted on 05/17/24.       On 05/21/24, I received a call from *********************************************************** Regional Manager. He interrogated me about the incident and repeatedly stated he had a problem with **** who wrote the bill of sale. He didn't agree with the written work to be completed on the bill. He stated **** should have looked at the four new parts that I brought into the shop before writing the bill of sale. I asked him if I could come into the store so he could see the damage to my vehicle. My mother went inside to speak to ******************** and he confronted her with a loud tone of voice, stating he did not appreciate me contacting the BBB to file a complaint against them. Furthermore, he stated that I could be held accountable for libel and slander and threatened to *** me. He asked all four of his employees to come inside the front office to ask my mother why we came on 05/18/24 to pick up the vehicle. My mother explained that on 05/17/24, we went to ECONO to speak to ******** and asked him in person when the vehicle would be ready for pickup. ******** stated that the paint needed 24 hours to dry and it would be ready for pick up Saturday, 05/18/24 at 10:00 am. ******************** agreed there was a miscommunication with ********, the Manager. ******** neglected to call me on 05/18/24 when the vehicle would be ready. When I arrived at the shop, he never informed me the vehicle was not ready but proceeded to bring out the vehicle and ask for payment in cash.
      My mother asked ******************** to come outside and inspect the vehicle. ******************** came outside with all four of his employees, ********, ****, *******, and another technician. After inspecting the vehicle, he stated that ECONO Paint & Body Works only offers value work and not quality. Additionally, he mentioned, if I was seeking quality work, I should have gone to Maaco Auto Paint. ******************** spoke to us like we had no education or knew the English language. He repeatedly asked if we understood him. He was very animated in his communication style and spoke street slang, which my mother did not understand. She asked him to please speak professionally, but he continued to express himself the same way. ******************** placed the blame for all the damages and unfinished work on us. He refused to repaint the vehicle, repair the damages, and/or offer us a refund. The only thing that was work done on 05/21/24 was repair to the broken tail light and the loose wires hanging by the front wheel. ******************** proceeded to go inside the office and say there was nothing more he could help us with.

      I would like to ask if the BBB could please offer me Mediation to come to a resolution with ECONO Painting & Body Works. Thank you for your time reviewing this case.

      This vehicle had previous damage and customer supplied parts that were not specific to their vehicle.  Multiple attempts by the Manager, Assistant, Body Person, and ******************** were exhausted trying to explain this.  ******************** did call and set up an appointment to meet and go over her concerns as well as correct anything that was incorrect.  Unfortunately, after the owner of the car started cursing and being belligerent and would not calm down, he had to ask them both to leave the property.

      I had my daughter's 2012 *************** worked on at this location. I've already placed a review but I need the business to contact me about possible safety issue. I delivered with the car a bumper and bumper reinforcement bar as they asked. They gave me what they said was the old reinforcement bar wrapped in plastic and in the box. I believe this is the part I purchased not the old one. Why would you wrap the old one back in plastic. Either way I need to know if this car is safe for my daughter and grandson to be in. All their unprofessional ways in my review doesn't compare to this. This is a safety issue. I need to know if this vehicle has the new enforcement bar the old enforcement bar or no enforcement bar. I would take the employees word but not how business was conducted this time. Thank you.

      I took my 2016 RT charger to Econo Auto Painting and Body Works to have new front and rear bumpers put on and painted. I picked up the car on March 28. He had not followed directions on what I requested to be painted and on top of that, the paint was insanely thin and came off almost a week later in two spots. One on the front bumper where I pulled up on a curb, and the second just from being rubbed with my hand on the side of the front bumper, so I took it back to have them repaint it. The manager agreed to do it for free, as it was their fault. He wrote down exactly what I was requesting to be fixed. They kept the car for almost a week. April 13, I go to pick up the car. He had only repainted one piece, not any of the rest of what I requested. Unwilling to keep dealing with them, I am driving it home, only for it to run completely out of gas in the middle of the road. I didnt think to check the gas tank because I had not dropped it off on empty. When I got out of the car, I happen to see a USED CONDOM in the front seat floor board. I immediately got gas for the car and went straight back to the business, to which the manager claims that it wasn't from one of his employees. After threatening to call the police, he changes his story to maybe one of his guys had a condom in their car and it stuck to their shoe and came off in the charger. He refused to refund me my money or give any type of credit, even though one of his crew members had clearly gone for more than just a joy ride in MY car. Ran the gas out, had ***, and who knows what else. I asked for security footage and his ONE security camera just happened to be pointed directly to the sky. They have yet to do anything to resolve this issue.

      I paid for paint respray and was told. The parts would be sanded and machine sanded. I went to pick up the parts after a couple of days and there was overspray on parts that I was told would be taped and they did not sand the parts correctly. I was told it was imperfections on the paint before by a worker, but that was a lie and the manager comes out and says he didnt sanded correctly. I am now being told that my parts well be ready again at a certain date and thats not true its like they are punishing me for not accepting their lazy work. They still have my parts and made me pay upfront before seeing the work and assured me that it would be okay work not c*** I would like for you guys to help me fight this I have asked to speak to the owner or corporate, but the manager says he doesnt have contact with them which Im sure is a lie. He is completely rude and need help. I am yet to get my parts back and they do a lazy job even though they assured me their work was good.

      11/06/23 brought my black 2014 Chrysler 200 to be painted.the supreme package was purchased with 3 year warranty.12/11/23 brought car back because the paint appeared to have an *orange peel* effect. They were super nice and repainted my car and even went so far as to give me the sparkle Tuxedo Black at no extra charge.We were finally at the time frame where we can wash and wax the car Now new areas have the orange peel effect, and I noticed some hair painted into the hood.Also, there are brrr marks ( from the sander? ).I called, and the man told me the warranty only covers peeling and cracking.... he also said "what do you really expect for an econo paint job?... or, something to that effect.Now, maybe to most people, under a thousand dollars is a good deal.To me... this was a gift from my husband, which he saved over a year for.( we are both on disability, therefore, we do not have loads of money - and almost $700 is a huge deal.I know not to expect perfect from a place called * Econo Paint *... but, at least a final inspection ... maybe no hair glued to the car...maybe, smooth paint ( not, looking like an old leather couch ).The tiny circle marks are kind of horrible as well.This is supposed to be my car until I cannot drive any more.I love my car. I want it to be back to pretty, or at least pretty-ish.I only want it redone. Properly.

      Around Feb. 22, 2024. We took a 84 Corvette to Econo Paint in ********************* **. They painted the car twice while it was there. The first paint job was horrible. So they tried again. Need less to say, it was horrible. They broke the hood arm, and instead of undoing a few bolts to remove the front Le bra. They cut it off. And the paint job had dust and debris in it so bad. It looked like it was done outside. The co-owner left a review and was told to remove the review or he could not get the car back. When I called to address the issues. They lied to me right off the bat. Claiming that the co-owner loved the paint job. However, what they forgot was that my sister was with him and he was not happy with it. As a matter of fact, she took photos of the car while it was on their lot and you can see the sign and building in some of the photos. But anyway, we had to take the car else were to get it fixed and now it is costing us more. I called to see about a refund to help pay for fixing it. However, I kept getting the run around. And about 20 mins after the phone call I got a threatening text and I am positive it came from the area manager. We will be taking legal actions if they dont own up to the problem.

      I had my2006 Trailblazer painted on 5-11-22 and paid for poly-supreme and top clear integrated clear coat for $758.28 included a 5 year warranty on the complete job. The clear top coat started to peel so I called January 31, 2024 and spoke to ****** and explained what was happening and he said for me to bring in my original paid receipt and made an appointment for the redo for 8:00 am on March 4, 2024. So on March 1 I called ****** and he said to bring it in today so I brought the car over immediately which was 35 miles away and had my wife follow me. After we arrived he looked at the car and he said maybe we can spot paint it. Then ****** said you didn't tell me it was a redo and then he told me to come back April 4th after I drove there. All of a sudden he couldn't do it that day because he said that I didn't tell him it was a redo. What kind of people do you have working there. I am a senior citizen and do not deserve that type of treatment and disrespect. I was in disbelief that ****** would ask me to drive that far for nothing. Therefore I want a full refund for the paint job which is $758.28. However I would like you to know that I have lost complete confidence and trust with Econo ***************** and have no intentions of returning my Trailblazer SUV for a redo but will expect a refund. I believe your company should have a long talk with ****** in ************* Econo Auto Paint. You cannot have a person like ****** schedule an appointment and decide after you drove 35 miles and led you to believe that he set the appointment and then only decides to change the date to delay it for another month because it was a redo which he was totally aware of the redo appointment. I expect a refund check from your corporate office as I will never return to any of your business
