    I hired ****'s Handyman Services and Renovations, LLC to come to my house and finish up a drywall project that I had started for an office (about a 120 sq ft room) - it needed final mud and sanding to correct a few blemishes, knock-down texture, and paint. **** came out and looked it over, complimented the quality of the work already done, and then quoted me $850 to finish it up, saying it would take a day, possibly a day and a half to complete. I agreed on his price without any haggling. He came out the next day and worked about 7 hours finishing up all of the prep work, then returned the second day to paint. He worked another 5 hours on day 2, mostly painting, and asked if I could pay him then so he could pay his rent. Against my better judgement, I agreed and paid him in full with cash, then left and said he'd be back the next day to finish up. After he left I noticed several issues like "valleys" in the ceiling joints and also that he had not only overs-prayed texture onto a door, but also painted over that overspray, effectively sealing it onto the door. I showed all of this to him when he arrived day 3. He worked for a few hours, then left and will not answer calls or texts. Poor quality work, not finished. I have plenty of pictures for proof. I made a big mistake hiring this guy. I also now see a similar complaint from someone else on BBB-wish I had checked here before hiring this guy. Hopefully this review will help prevent someone else from hiring this guy and getting burnt like I have.

    December 12, 2022 accepted quote to close in shed (walls and siding along with a door in back entrance. Gave **** a $2000 deposit to start job and buy the materials. Came the next day to start. Worked on project for a couple of hours and left without saying anything. The framework for the walls are nailed together and left on my lawn for the past 2 weeks. He has not returned. Does not answer phone calls or texts!! I have pics of the walls sitting on the ground and a chain of emails and texts trying to get ahold of him to finish the job. 12/23 he texted me and said his dog was hit by a car. Really. So you don't communicate with me on the job. I called his home number and was told I had the wrong number. Told him I have been patient and now I will terminate this project and you need to return my money. Feel you are taking advantage of a senior citizen and not fulfilling your obligation. Our community wants the frames off the lawn...told him this several times in texts. Legal action will be taken if **** does not return our money. Hoping he will do what is right and not rip me off.
