    I rented a house from these people from 2/10-2/27. I had a death in the family and they refused to refund me. The main complaint is this Public hair all over the bathrooms Pool was broke No safety equipment for kids to be In The home No fire alarm or smoke detectors No carbon monoxide detectors Filthy house Foul odor The host discriminated against me because of my service animal as well harassment me for my dogs paperwork that is very illegal to do Also the house is. It allowed to be on air bnb per the hoa so Im working with them to get this house shut down with air bnb now too

    I booked 2 vacation houses from the company to stay with my wife, kids and parents (6 people total). The first one from Dec 11th 2023 to Dec 24th 2023 and the second one from Dec 24th to Dec 29th. When I moved from the first house to the second one, I was informed that the latter was double booked, meaning I wouldn't be able to stay there. I returned to the former house (having already loaded 15 large luggage bags on the car and waking up my elder parents early) until *** was trying to find an alternative. I had to unload everything and they informed me the only alternative was to go to another house from 24th to 28th, meaning I'd have to move to another location (that I'd have to book myself somewhere else) on the 28th as my departure was scheduled to the 29th. As the alternative didn't work and all the accommodation options were very expensive, specially when booked last minute, I said I couldn't leave the first house until they provided me a decent solution and it was not viable to move twice with all the luggage. *** then offered one free night at the house I was staying in longer and to not charge an extra amount on my reservation (as the second house night rate was lower, they couldn't charge me the higher rate from the first house). I accepted the offer and booked a hotel from the 26th to 29th, having stayed two additional nights at the first house. When they provided the refund from the second night, they didn't send the full amount (~$2k) but they deducted two full nights from the first house.Conclusion: not only they didn't give me the promised free night (prints from conversation attached) but also charged the extra nights at the higher rate and not the one I had originally booked - I spent much more than previously planned, on the first house and on the hotel nights booked last minute.
