This company sucks! I tried the 14 day free trial and then decided I did not want the service. After telling them this they still sent me a bill. I contacted them and explained that the sales representative told me how it was completely free and I will only pay after when I am happy with their service. After several emails and phone calls they decided to send it to collections even though I never used the service. Do not use this company!

I am filing a complaint against TeamViewer for unfair billing practices, In 2024 I purchased a license but the software did not work for my intended use. After several unsuccessful support requests, I attempted to cancel my subscription through email and their portal, but no response was provided. Despite this, I was auto-renewed for 2024, and TeamViewer is now demanding payment for a service I never used.

I have been a loyal customer of ********************** with their price increases every year for the past 8 years. Last years increase was a huge $500. This year was another $500 so I called them on Dec 26th well before their 28 day cancelation policy and told them I would have to cancel if they couldn't give me a substantial discount. No help nor callbacks. When I called & talked to them they sent me to another ***** Finally, the last call which was a week before the renewal I told them I was canceling. They said so sorry but it is not before 28 days so you will be charged for the ENTIRE YEAR $2,289 and there is nothing you can do! I found out they are sponsoring sports teams. Reminds me of ****** before their demise. The customers are no longer their concern but just a way for them to get extra money. No concern for my 8 years of loyalty. Luckily, ****** canceled their subscription for me today. But in two days when they try to renew I am sure they will put me in debt collections. That is bad business practice. I would be willing to pay a 26 day prorate, but an entire year!!! That is robbery.

Same thing as everyone. I was out of the country and they sent an email saying I would be renewing I didnt see the email and then I went to cancel and said I was outside my window to cancel so I was charged $610 for an item I will not use. With no way to get anything back. I am not sure how they can do this or give partial refund for remaining time. Feels like a giant scam if you ask me.

I used TeamViewer for several months. Then, my circumstances changed, and I didn't need it anymore. As the 12 month period of payment was coming to a close, I contacted them and said I wanted to cancel for another subscription. They said I can't because of a contractual clause. I didn't make my cancellation before the 28 day window in the contract, but 15 days prior. So they're going to bill me again for around $25 a month for 12 months. I believe it's a predatory contract. Can't I get out of this predatory contract? Thanks.**** **********

I am filing a complaint against TeamViewer for unfair billing practices. In 2023, I purchased a license for $400, but the software did not work for my intended use (controlling FireTV devices). After several unsuccessful support requests, I attempted to cancel my subscription through email and their portal, but no response was provided. Despite this, I was auto-renewed for 2024, and TeamViewer is now demanding payment for a service I never used. I have removed my payment method, and they refuse to cancel the invoice.Besides all of the similar complains on BBB, there are numerous people reporting the same or similar issues on Reddit as well. Given the number of years of the complaints, this shows a very systemic problem with this company which needs to be addressed. Desired Resolution: I request that TeamViewer cancel the invoice and cease billing me for an unusable service. I also request th

Just like so many of the reviews. I used TeamViewer for a year and when they called me in July of 2023 to discuss my renewal. I told them I wanted to cancel because they were too expensive for what I needed. In July of this year, 2024 I received a call that it was time to renew again, and I told them that I cancelled this last year and have not used it once since then. They informed me I owed for last year and if I did not pay it would be sent to collections along with additional fees. After a month of arguing they gave me a 10% discount if I paid the bill that week. I ended up paying the $575 bill to avoid collections. There is nothing in their agreement about arbitration leaving you no choice. Extremely frustrating and poor customer service. They absolutely dont give a s*** about doing what is right. I would NEVER work with them again.

Same old stuff different day for TeamViewer. When will they be penalized for these actions. Never activated my account, renewal email went to spam. Charged me for an entire year of service. Emailed and called to seek a refund literally 28 minutes after they charged my account. Two days later they say I can get a refund. This is BAD BUSINESS.

They don't even deserve 1 star. They claim to have a free trial that doesn't require a credit card, no where to be found on their website. We mistakenly forgot to cancel and because the scam company that they are we didn't receive any emails saying the end of trail was coming up. Thank goodness my bank fraud alerted the charge, which comes through at 3am by the way. When I called my bank they said this company has issues all the time. Three different customer service reps yelled at me, hung up on me and were completely condescending and rude. They refuse to allow you to speak with a supervisor. There is a gentleman who's title is Retention Specialist. They refuse to allow you to speak with him either. He emails you and says he is the absolute authority on these matters, but refuses to take a call from you. RETENTION SPECIALIST??? RIGHT THERE TELLS YOU THAT THEY HAVE ISSUES LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME IF YOU NEED A SPECIALIST TO RETAIN CUSTOMERS. I would absolutely never recommend this company to anyone, not even an enemy. AS STATED BY ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS BELOW THIS IS A SCAM AND TRAP COMPANY. AWFUL HUMAN BEINGS

Incredibly frustrating company to work with. No phone support regardless of the number of "Tickets" you place for product not working. In the year that I had them the last 3 months I could not get their product to work. Despite numerous attempts via their ticket system in which someone will get back to you within 3 business days, they still will not help you via phone, or remotely. Which is ironic since remote access is their business. Told them to cancel my subscription many times since it did not work and nobody from the company was willing to practice any sense of customer service. Instead the service renewed and they refused to refund the money. They had an opportunity to make a good and fair business decision and help get the issue fixed and give me 3 months free to earn my business back. Instead they try sticking me with a bill for a non functioning product. I also last close to an additional month with days that that I was unable to get signed in remotely. Oh well, now I'm off to the CC company to reverse the charges. Such an unnecessarily poor way to conduct business.
