Business was hired on 5/14/24. A total of $9,500.00 cash was paid to the owner in two parts - once for the supplies and then to break ground. Owner does not have employees. He hires "friends" to do the work, then doesn't pay them. One worker was left stranded in the front yard and asked for payment as the owner had not paid him. To date, nothing other than removing natural grass for a pet turf installation has been completed. Owner always has excuses for no work being done - Broken down truck, no one working over Memorial Day weekend, had to fire his employees and can't find replacements, was in a motorcycle accident, lost his phone, etc. The little you do see of him is late at night and other off hours. An investigation of public records confirms the owner suffers from substance abuse which is the obvious cause for his not showing up, no workers showing up, not returning calls or texts, and abandoning his equipment and trailer in the road. Texted him to stop work and refund $7,500.00 of cash paid end of last week, only to have my number blocked. Written quote and receipt stated job was to be completed in 4-5 days, but here we are three weeks later with nothing done.
