I received a letter through the mail by this company claiming to be ***********************************. They used words like "potential lapse in coverage" and "being liable for all costs". They have a Customer ID number yet I do not remember being a customer of this company. The letter says that "my home warranty through *********************************** will be expiring". This is a scam letter. When I called the person on the other line started asking personal questions. Then they claimed that they represented this company.Business Response

Dear Better Business Bureau,
We appreciate the opportunity to address *************** concerns regarding the mailer he received.
Aegis Administration serves as an administrator and works with various partners who offer home warranty coverage to consumers. We do not directly conduct marketing outreach but support our partners in ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
After reviewing our records, we confirm that Mr. ***** is not listed as a current or past customer of ********************* nor have we ever contacted him directly. Additionally, the mailer he received references Global Warranty Group, not ********************* As such, this complaint should be directed to them for further clarification.
To assist Mr. ****** we recommend that he reach out to Global Warranty Group directly regarding this matter. If he would still like to be placed on a do-not-contact list for future mailings from our partners, we are happy to facilitate this request and ensure he is removed from any further outreach.
We sincerely regret any confusion or frustration Mr. ***** experienced and are committed to addressing his concerns. We value transparency and consumer trust, and we appreciate the opportunity to work toward a resolution.
Please let us know if further information is needed.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because a person from the phone number listed on that letter claimed the the name of this company is ******************************;I will also send a copy of this complaint and your letter to ****************************. Your company makes it look like you are ***********
This is a scam.
Sincerely,
**** *****Business Response

Dear Better Business Bureau,
We appreciate the opportunity to further clarify our response to *************** concerns.
Aegis Administration is not affiliated with Warranty Global Group or the mailer that Mr. ***** received. After thoroughly reviewing our records, we confirm that Mr. ***** has never been a customer of ********************* nor have we had any direct or indirect contact with him. We do not engage in marketing activities using the name of *************************************, nor do we send mailers of this nature.
Additionally, the mailer attached to Mr. ****** complaint clearly lists Warranty ************ as the responsible entity. Any concerns regarding the content or authenticity of the mailer should be directed to them.
If Mr. ***** was told over the phone that the company was ********************* this is incorrect, and we encourage him to verify the number he contacted. We take compliance and consumer protection seriously.
We sincerely regret any confusion or frustration Mr. ***** has experienced, but we respectfully request that this complaint be redirected to the appropriate entity.
Thank youInitial Complaint

I keep receiving letters from the "Home Warranty Division." I have called multiple times to request that they remove my information from their files, but they have not done so.
