I ordered & paid for my spa cover on 11/17/2021 via Order # ****** for a total of $375. I spoke w/ numerous Affordable Spa Cover employees thru 1/2023 getting various excuses as well as promises of refunds. As you can see from the attachment, they were still taking online orders as of 1/30/2023. I reached out to the owner ********************* multiple times with no reply. I am simply hoping to recoup my money thru the ******* AG complaint since the business is now shut down.Initial Complaint

I purchased a spa cover on 4/12/2022. It arrived 9 months later damaged with a hole in it. The delivery company returned it to the company. I was told by the company another cover would be sent, however, when I checked on it a few months later I found the company was shut down by the government. I never received the spa cover. At least they should have refunded the customers. I'm hoping for a refund with this formal complaint.Initial Complaint

Placed order with Affordable Spa Covers on 3/19/2021 and my credit card was charged $345.00. I have 52 messages between their sales department and myself (30 from me and 22 from them). They gave constant excuses such as covid-19 delays, product material delays, etc. They finally agreed to refund my money and I never received it. They took down their website and no longer respond to my complaints. I tried to do a fraud compliant with my bank, but was outside the window of opportunity to reclaim the funds.Initial Complaint

I placed an order on 10/31/2022 and subsequently updated the order on 11/3/22 received an email pointing out the product i ordered should be upgraded, at an added cost. I prepaid for the spa cover and the upgrade. I knew the item was bulky and I believed the product was manufactured many miles away so I figured shipping would be consolidated and take much longer than Amazon Prime. After 4-months went by, I called and emailed to no avail. I got busy and reached out again to no avail. I searched the web and noted others were in the same predicament. I was able to exercise the charge dispute process with the CC company i charged the upgrade to. However, the initial order CC company I could not recover my payment from or through. I'm hoping this and the multitude of other complaints against Affordable Spa Covers and the resources of the BBB can benefit me and the other consumers that were ripped off. The amount paid shown in the supporting document does not include the upgrade. The cost of the upgrade was recovered through the credit card dispute process.Initial Complaint

I ordered a hot tub cover from them on 5/22/2022 and they contacted me to upgrade for free for better heat protection. I agreed to that. I was told it would ship in 4-6 months. I have tried to contact them through their email address and phone number listed with no success. I waited to file because I did have some response from them in the beginning.Initial Complaint

Ordered a spa cover. Was expecting a 4-6 month delivery but it has been almost 2 years. Now the company has disappeared. I had numerous calls and emails with company, with them saying delays in shipping were due to supply chain. Now nothing. Paid in full by credit card on 11/21/21. $375.00Initial Complaint
