I was notified of an unsolicited magazine subscription to Economist magazine today (4/2/2024). I already subscribe to the magazine. The email that I received today says the following:Start date: April 2nd 2024 Subscription type: Digital + Print Subscription term: 1 year Agent: NATIONAL PUBLISHERS EXCHANGE You purchased your subscription through NATIONAL PUBLISHERS EXCHANGE. Please refer to them for any terms and conditions relating to the purchase of your subscription. I do not agree to this subscription and never asked for it, I do not agree to any billing. I have never had any contact with National Publishers Exchange. I would like this subscription cancelled and the assurance that I am not being billed for it. On looking up this company I found many people online complaining of being scammed by this company and therefore do not trust contacting them myself. I did not enter any sweepstakes or anything which I've heard they claim people have done. I do not know how they got my information.

I received an issue of Architectural Digest on 3/20/2024. I called the publisher and was told it was put in by National Publishers Exchange. They said this is usually fraud by them. They also put in a subscription for GQ digital. I was told I have to contact them at 888--559-6577. The link does not work where is says to contact them. The email confirmation does not comeback from them. Hundreds of online reports that this is scam where they send bills. I have not been billed but it says this is a scam to elderly people. I am almost 69 but not stupid.

National publishers exchange apparently started a magazine subscription on my behalf with out communicating with me. I have never interacted with national publishers exchange. I only found this out when a GQ magazine showed up in my mail. I have never subscribed to a magazine in my life. I called GQ and asked how I ended up signed up for their magazine and they told me national publishers exchange signed me up. I asked them to cancel it and they said I would have to talk with the third party (national publishers exchange) about cancellation. GQ said they would cease shipping and were very kind about it. I then googled national publishers exchange and found that they perform scams by acting as an unsolicited third party signing people up for subscriptions without the subscribee knowing and then trying to back collect payments. This seems like it must be illegal.

I got an unrequested magazine subscription procured by this company on February 22nd 2024. I did not authorize this company to do any business under name, I did not authorize any magazine subscription. If this company obtained my information to process this request, it was thru illegal and fraudulent methods. I request to be eliminated from your customer data and any account tied to my information must also be eliminated. Please cancel any subscription and service you have under my name. And severe all ties with this company. You people are criminals, identity theft sponsors and overall a fraudulent company. Shame on you!

I received an unsolicited magazine subscription to Vanity Fair magazine. I did not sign up for this, I did not request it or agree to it. Two issues of the magazine showed up in my mailbox. On March 10, 2024 I requested a cancellation with Vanity Fair directly, I was notified that the subscription originated from National Magazine Exchange. I was told that Vanity Fair would stop the mailing of the next issue, but that they could not cancel the subscription and that I had to contact National Magazine Exchange to cancel and to find out how I was set up with a subscription. I do not agree to this subscription and never asked for it, I do not agree to any billing. I would like this subscription cancelled and the assurance that I am not being billed for it. Similar to numerous other grievances documented here, I began receiving unsolicited copies of Vogue magazine. I never subscribed to this service nor did I participate in any sweepstakes or provide marketing details. Upon reaching out to Vogue magazine, they directed me to contact National Publishers Exchange. Despite making several attempts to reach the company via phone, no one responded. This company is fraudulent and operates as a scam.

I Received an unsolicited magazine subscription to Vogue magazine. I did not sign up for this, I did not request it. Two issues of the magazine simply showed up out of the blue at my place of employment. Upon requesting a cancellation with Vogue, I was notified that the subscription originated from the National Magazine Exchange. I am not sure what the scam is, or how they got my information, but I want it known that something is seriously not right about this whole thing. I have called them multiple times to request cancellation and that they remove me from their system and cancel the subscription however I have been unable to contact anyone.

I started receiving a Vogue subscription in October of 2023 that I didn't sign up for. I don't know who is paying for it and I am concerned that I will be billed for it even though I did not agree to that. I contacted Vogue customer service letting me know "my" subscription was through National Magazine Exchange and I would have to contact them. I emailed today (2/16/2024) to request a stop to this subscription as well as information on who is paying for it. I await their response. I would like this subscription cancelled and the assurance that I am not being billed for it.
