1 starThis company is a bait and switch operation, plain and simple. Booked a rental car with them, and at no point during the process did they advise that they don't allow cancellation after the check-in time. Ultimately lost $400 due to some fine print somewhere. Whatever you feel you may be saving by going with them instead of with any of the major agencies, you will ultimately pay in terrible customer service, extreme lack of flexibility and absolutely no desire to do right by the customer. I can't imagine this company has any repeat business, as they're essentially set up to take your money, disappoint you, and then blame you for not reading some fine print somewhere on their poorly designed website. You've been warned.

1 starDo not rent through this company! I prepaid on line to rent a car in **. When I went to pick up the car, the rental company told me that since I'm a local resident, I needed pay extra $1000 deposit, didn't accept debt or credit card and needed to show an utility bill under my name in order to rent from them. None of this was mentioned online when I prepaid. When I asked for a refund from Gotrentalcars.com, they charged me $50 penalty. You've been warned!GotRentalCars.com

Dear GRC Customer, please note that the following information was mentioned on the website check out page and that in order to complete the reservation you had to read and accept all terms and conditions. "Mileage restrictions may apply to local renters as well as a higher deposit. Renter may be required to provide a round-trip flight ticket/itinerary that matches rental dates. Please contact the rental desk directly for more details."However in order to show proof of good faith we have also refunded you the extra $50 late cancellation fee. 1 starBooked a car online with gotrentalcars.com. at *********************.It was booked thru Ace rental, when i got to check in,I was told it would be ****** more, since I already paid ******, I was basically forced to pay the additional cost.Totally unprofessional, I will never go thru those agency's again.GotRentalCars.com

Dear GRC Customer, the car rental reservation you made on our website was a "BASIC PACKAGE" which as mentioned on our website, terms and conditions and voucher we sent you, does not include any coverage in the rate. Only times and mileage and taxes and fees pertaining to time and mileage were included in this rate. Customer opted in for optional liability insurance during the rental pickup process. Customer signed the rental agreement accepting the extra charge of $19.99/day + corresponding taxes and fees for a total of $236.01. Since you have accepted the extra charge during the rental pick up process no refund can be granted. Sincerely, Gotrentalcars.com
