On January 10, 2024, took the car in to ***********************, *************, *******, for oil change. When driving home noticed the wheel was sticking. Drove the car till January 17th, gave it a week, and it got worse. Took it back to the shop, at which time they said the battery needed replacement but that the steering wheel needed a bracket, which had to be ordered. The said they would let us know when part would be in, maybe in a week. A week later we called and was told part could take as long as 6 months to a year. We requested a loaner but they had none available until January 31st. Have been driving that loaner till today as the called today to say part was in. Today is April 24th, so we have been with the loaner for 84 days, almost three months. The car was a Honda CRV Hybrid. The loaner is a Honda Pilot and not Hybrid. The cost of gas over that period of time was ridiculously higher because it was not a Hybrid. It was too large, but it was the only loaner they had so I was forced to drive it and pay the cost. Also, am paying $458.88 per month to finance my Hybrid CRV, when I cant even drive the car Im paying for. Believe I should receive some kind of compensation regarding the months I paid for my car and did not have it, as well as compensation for the difference in the cost of the gas.

I was there on Maech 28th 2023 and experienced horrendous customer service from the Service. The AC compressor they replaced less than a year ago still under warranty broke and they refused to honor the warranty because they knew they would have to foot the bill. Worse yet, I wasn't even provided with an estimate of how much it might cost to repair if I paid. Even if it's more than the car is worth it's still my decision as a customer. The explaination as to why they couldn't do the repair was complete BS as they had fixed the same exact issues a few months back. Then when I said I was going to go to Toyota to buy a new car because I will never buy from Honda again due to this experience then he started back peddling saying maybe they could get an aftermarket part. so which one is it can the car be fixed or not?!!. After being a customer there for many years and letting them rob me on overpriced repairs for years because I'm a loyal customer, I will never be back! Worst yet, they purposely did not charge me for the diagnostic so there would be no record that I had been there. SHAMEFUL!! I have filed a complaint with Honda corporate.

Lissette, as we had spoke about on May 2, I asked for you to email me all the back up and details. I explained I was heading out of town to see my mom and would be returning on May 15. I appreciated your patience until I came back to work. I was surprised to have waiting in email a notification date May 10 from the BBB about your complaint you filed with them. Since I have received this notification via BBB, I need to response to you back through their portal. I have researched and found record that you did came in without an appointment on March 27 at 5:22 pm (we closed at 6 pm). Bruce did open an RO for this visit. Since there was not time to get the car into the shop and you did not come back, it was voided on April 11. I spoke to Bruce about this visit and the prior one in May 2022. Bruce reminded you on March 27 that this was a temporary fix you wanted last May because you were going to sell the Pilot elsewhere. Bruce explained in May 2022 that the technician found “Black Death.” Bruce explained that Black Death is when the compressor explodes inside releasing fine metal partials throughout the system. Bruce explained because of Black Death, even flushing the system will never remove all the fine metal partials, the parts could not be warrantied. Bruce advised you may get six more months out of the new compressor.
