    Ive tried several other hearing aids and been to severallocal providers. Only with hear.com can I hear again! Its life-changing. I can volunteer and have social life againnow.The customer service and follow up and tele consult were absolutely top notch and even better than my in person exams.The packaging the follow up - cant recommend this company enough

    I accepted a call from hear.com at 3:01 pm on 8/18/25. I attempted to make an appointment with a local representative to see about getting their hearing aids. She said her name was ******. After answering several personal questions, she asked me for a credit card number. I said I would prefer to meet a local representative in *********, **. She said the company did not work that way. I would need to provide a CC number, they would send me a hearing aid, and then I would be given an appointment to go in and have the hearing aid turned on. I told her that I would not give my number over the phone without meeting with them at their office first.Please note that I gave my phone number online at the hear.com site, agreeing to take their call. They texted me with the above phone number so that I would recognize their call. That number showed on my phone as hear.com.After reading several reviews of this company, and my perplexing experience with their representative, I am concerned that they may try to scam or defraud me due to some personal information I supplied during this phone call.

    At hear.com, we are a medically regulated hearing care provider not a scam or sales-only operation. Our process includes a 45-day no-risk trial and a full support system with licensed hearing care professionals. In order to reserve your appointment with one of our partnered providers in the *********, ** area, we do request a credit card to place a fully refundable $98 hold similar to how hotels secure bookings. This is not a charge, and the hold is released after your appointment, typically within 710 business days, depending on your bank.
    This hold ensures that our hearing professionals time is respected and reserved for customers who are ready to take a step toward better hearing. We understand that this may feel unfamiliar, especially if youre used to walk-in clinics, but we are committed to making hearing care more accessible. 
    We take your privacy seriously, and we only collect the personal data necessary to match you with the right hearing solution and provider. If you have any additional concerns, we'd be happy to address them. Good luck on your hearing journey. - ******, Customer Success Team

    Happy with my new hearing aids. This is my second set. Was an easy process to get everything set up. The hearing test was from the comfort of my home. They mailed me a tablet with everything required for the appointment. The gentleman that contacted me to start the process was great! Would recommend giving them a try!

    ********* sells a new hearing aid called Horizon. It is actually made by ******, but has a double processor that ****** does not offer to its customers. When the pairing works, it is the best hearing aid I have ever had, but when it does not pair their servic department seems unable to solve the problem, which is VERY frustrating. The Horizon brand costs $4000,so one would expect easy operation and superior service (but, unfortunately the case). I previously has Signia hearing aids and their consumer service was MUCH better. My conclusion is that , while I like the Horizon hearing aids when they work, I cannot recommend them to others because when they do not totally pair, you may have to accept that you will only have pairing in one ear.
