William R* ********* III, Real Estate Appraiser, ** *** ***** DeFuniak Springs FL 32435 grossly under appraised my home and caused me to be denied a second mortgage on my home with equity as collateral.Business response

The real estate appraisal in question contained the most recent, similar and proximate comparisons from subject's defined market. The appraisal was both credible and accurate. The complainant is not my client per Florida Law. The Appraisal Management Company which ordered the appraisal, is my client. The complainant can submit a Reconsideration of Value to her lender, and I will be happy to address any concerns or criticisms that they may have. All criticisms of the appraisal must be address through the ROV process through her Lender.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:I, not ******, paid for the appraisal. Consequently, I am questioning the appraisal and requesting a refund.

The Law clearly states in Florida, that the party who engages the appraiser, is the Appraiser's client. An appraisal was ordered and an appraisal was delivered. Had the complainant submitted an ROV to this appraiser through the Lender, I could have addressed any concerns that the complainant had. An ROV was never delivered to the appraiser by My Client.
