Business failed to show up for my HHG pick up scheduled for the morning of Monday 10/11. I called about 20 times on Monday, sent text messages, and left voice mails to no avail. I did not hear anything from the Company which led .me to believe I had been scammed & made alternate arrangements because I have to turn in the keys to the house the morning of Wed 10/13 to the new owner. At 330pm on Monday. I finally received a called but I told them I did not need their services because thir lack of communication cause a tremerndous inconvenience and undue stress. I request my $500.00 deposit. Their business practice is totally unacceptable. They claim someone left a voice mail on my cell announcing the change. It is absolutely not true cause my phone does not allow for voice mails.Initial Complaint

Alliance Moving Estimate ALXXXXXXX - This company was contacted by ****** **** the week of May 25, 2021, along with several other companies, to get an estimate for moving from Arizona to Florida. Alliance pursued Mr. **** numerous times by phone, along with sending an estimate by email. Mr. **** was very busy at the time and never saw the email, so Justin Roberts kept pursuing him by phone. Mr. Roberts called over and over, urging Mr. **** to put his credit card number on the date Mr. **** estimated he'd need to move, since it was peak moving season. Mr. **** told Mr. Roberts repeatedly he was not even assured of the house sale yet, since it was still in escrow. Mr. Roberts assured Mr. **** that he could cancel for a full refund of his deposit as long as he did so a week from the desired date of the move (early July). Mr. **** gave his credit card number to Mr. Roberts. Two days later, Mr. **** saw the email sent by Mr. Roberts and tried to cancel. No response. See attached.Initial Complaint

The subcontractor hired by Alliance (Secure and Protected Moving) failed to exercise a normal standard of care and damages countless items including furniture, glassware, beds and a computer. They raised the price by $8000.00 after they failed to send the proper size truck ( that was agreed upon prior to move) resulting in a second truck having to pick up two days later. They did not bring all furniture into the home. They refused to give us paperwork as stated in contract. They threatened to dump our belongings in the driveway. They are now refusing to pay for damages they failed to fulfill the terms of the original contract signed with Alliance. They ( Secure and Protected Moving ) acted in a non professional manner, berating and threatening us on several occasions. $28,000.00 is a ridiculous amount of money to pay for a 600 mile move. We claimed $9000.00 in damages but told them we would work with them. They refuse to resolve the issue.
