      We hired this company to do a cross country move. In the process we originally worked with a gentleman who called himself "**** *********** **** and I got on a video call to review the apartment and come up with an estimate. We measured each item that was to be moved and calculated an estimate based on that, then I had them add 20% more overage on 2 separate occasions - this brought our total to $5223.55 which is the estimate we signed. We paid a total of $2860 (I believe) in two payments for the deposit. A deposit they were excessively eager to collect. Hounding us - and then suddenly being silent as soon as we paid. In that time "**** ********** I was told was no longer with the company, however I continued to receive emails from "Eric ********** and his name remained in the revised estimate signed on 11/24. Fast forward to yesterday- the movers come (a day late) and immediately after walking into the apartment demand $11.9k to do the job. When we refused the last minute price gouge - with NO a changes to our inventory - they turned around and left. Forcing us into scramble mode to find another options before our lease expires on dec 1. This is something they were aware of and leveraged. Despite my efforts to reclaim our deposit - they have refused to do so. I am hopeful in filing this complaint that (a) we get our money back and (b) you can do something to ensure they don't do this to anyone else. This is the broker company we used including their MDOT: Alliance Moving and Storage **** N Federal Highway Suite *** Boca ****** FL XXXXX US DOT: XXXXXXX   MC: XXXXXXX This is the cell number of some random person we were put in touch with on the move weekend to handle the move. His people were the ones that suddenly decided it was 2x - however we know for a fact they are in cahoots with the brokerage (they were talking to each other the whole time and I made sure to selectively share information with each side yesterday to confirm this).

      I hired this business to move me from Alabama on August 27th, giving them a down payment of $2386.91. They did pick up my stuff at which time I gave the driver as instructed a bank check for close to the same amount. My final payment was to be at delivery of 2086.30 per ***** of Top Van Lines who is an Alliance company. I have been trying to get my things back since early October. I bought a condo in Ohio. They were talking to me, and at one point ***** told me they lost my stuff and now no one will call me back. I have called Alliance customer service and they call this company that does logistics and say they are not answering them either and that someone will call me back. I just want my stuff back. They told me to give them a two week notice....its been 7 weeks. I have had to at great expense replace some of it so I can live in my home! Please help me! The job reference ALXXXXXXX

      I booked this Moving company to assist in me moving out of state. Job #ALXXXXXXX,This was on 09/22/2021, I was quoted $3,150 for the move. Required a $1000 down payment. After doing that I was told the move would take approximately 2weeks-21 days to receive my items. After finding out that information I requested a refund due to not wanting to wait that long for my items being that I was moving to a new state with no belongings of mine. I was told it would not reach 21 days that it was a worst case scenario that I would receive my items before the 21 day mark. I proceeded with their service although I faced many bad encounters with them. My scheduled move date was 09/28/XXXX- XX/29/2021, was not contacted for any rescheduling or updates, I had to keep calling them to find out what was going on and when they would be coming to collect my items, as I had to be out my apartment come the 1st of the month. I had to cancel and rebook my flight. Dispatchers did not come get my items on the scheduled date I was given. They came 10/1/2021. Upon arrival it was not the company I had booked for, instead it was ALLIED MOVING GROUP LLC another company they worked with. I was told to give a date I would be available to receive my items as they told me to give them at least 1 week, I told them 10/8/XXXX-XX/12/2021. It is now 11/13/2021, a month and 2 weeks since my items were picked up. Whenever I call they give excuses and say they'll call me back with more information. They never do, and I have to reach out again and again, still with no new information about my items. Every time I call now no one is answering the phone, I email and don't get an answer from both companies. I don't know where my items are at or when I will be receiving them. I need my items and want know where my items are at as I have nothing with me in this new state I am in.

      9/28/2021 Ordered service for 10/19/2021 or 10/20/2021 $2100 Deposit Agreed to call me 3 days before the move and again 24 to 48 hours before the move. They did not call within the agreed upon time and did not have a working number where I could reach them with my concerns. They refused to discuss a refund Job number ALXXXXXXX

      They have charged us over $8,000 to move our things from Oregon to Montana. They have no idea where our things are. The day of the move they had a company called Flash Moving come out and that company charged us even more money. We moved almost a month ago and Alliance as well as Flash Moving refuse to tell us where our belongings are or when they can get to us. There is no customer service but one unreliable woman. I got an answered email from someone's iPhone and now all the emails I send to any contacts I had at Alliance come back as undeliverable. I have attempted to ask for a refund with no response from Alliance. Flash Moving seems to not know anything about that status of our things either. My family and I have been without our things for so long and have spent so much money on this company we are struggling.

      Hired alliance to move our stuff from oregon to Montana. On october 3rd a "subcontracted" company called flash moving and storage came to pick up our things. It's been over a week since the day we were promised our things. Extremely disheartening.

      I hire Alliance Moving and storage to move my things from California to Tennessee July X XXXX. The representative ******** Steel let me know they would come pick up my belongings on 1 of the 2 dates we agreed on. They never showed up on either of the days. I called and they they gave me 2 other dates and they also didn't show up on those dates. They kept attempting to change the date but my lease ended and I needed to move. I asked them for my money back because I needed to pay other movers, they hung up the phone on me. I paid them a deposit of $1365. I've disputed the charge with my credit card company and I credit card company reached out to them and they have not responded.

      We contracted with this business to move us out-of-state on April 6, 2021 for a scheduled move date of April 27, 2021, and placed a $2,346.74 deposit. We had to postpone our move, and discussed this with ****** ****** (Customer Service Representative). According to her email, we were told to notify her within two weeks of our move date. We called and spoke with a Bruce on September 24, 2021 to schedule a move for the end of this month (October), and he said that he would turn it over to the carrier. That was the last we heard from Bruce or anyone at this business. They will not return calls, and when they answer the phone, they yell and never put Bruce on the phone.

      Paid $1323 down payment for the pickup of my move. Was told the movers would arrive on Sunday. Never came and never called to say weren't coming. Called numerous times and was told coming Monday afternoon. Never came and never called. I called again and again and was told they were coming Tuesday afternoon. Never came and never called. I called numerous times on Wednesday and was told they were coming on Thursday. Thursday came and went and again, they never called and never came. I called them Friday to say it was clear they could not meet the terms of the contract and was cancelling the contract. They now refuse to return my deposit for services they were unable to provide.

      On August 26, 2021, I hired Alliance Moving and Storage to move furniture from my residence. I was contacted and told that they would let me know when the driver was 30 minutes to an hour away. On the day of the move, Alliance contacted me and told me that there were issues with the truck and it would be the following day and they would call me later to give me a time frame in which the driver would arrive. A few hours later, Alliance called me and told me they would not be able to make it and that it "may possibly" be another week. I was then told that if that would not work for me, then email billing and ask for a refund. I was later emailed back by billing that a refund would not be granted and shown a false contract that I had never seen and the original agreement was no longer on their page. I was able to screenshot the portion I had check that I had agreed to. So, Alliance sold me a service in which they failed to provide, then refused to refund my money and provided false proof.
