I contracted the service of United Moving , brokers out of *****************. They gave me A quote for the service and request upfront $1,500 as a deposit to schedule the move and Set up a date to pick of my move in *************, ** on October *******. After that day I communicated with them so they can give me an exact date for the move after waiting For days finally they informed me the day of pick up and they showed 3 days later. I found they never told me that they were only brokers and a moving company named Cross Country Pick up my move and deliver to ******* and they delivered 15 boxes and a bedroom set That was delivered damaged. I had to paid them $700 at pick up and $800 at delivery If not they will not take the boxes and bedroom set . They gave me w website to start a Claim for the damages. I started the claim and they sent it to an arbitrary ************************* has been over 3 months and nothing have been resolved. Emails and phone calls with no Response. Companies like these should be take out of business. I have lost $3000 and got A damage room set and a bed wrongly assembled and I cant use. I am 78yrs old senior On a fixed income all by myself which I think is an elderly abused from their partInitial Complaint

On June 30, 2024 this company picked up a moving job of our entire house contents. They advertise the service as a white glove, ************************ us that they had moved multiple people across country and our items would be Stocked climate control warehouse with security and 24 seven surveillance. We have been trying to reach this company To schedule our delivery, however nobody answers our emails and multiple phone calls. Moreover, when they came to our house, they told us it was not A white glove service we would have to pack ourselves. They showed up with a rental U-Haul and two Hispanic guys. Since we had to be out of the house by the next day, we could not make other arrangements and how to go with it upon loading of our items in the truck they simply double the quote that had been given to us. We contracted with them to move our family 850 miles to a different state. The movers showed up, did a quick look at our belongings and said we had double the contracted amount and would need to pay the movers $7,000 directly before they would load our stuff. We got customer service on the phone who said the movers could load the contracted amount and we could take care of the rest. We agreed to that. The movers said they would start loading after they made a phone call. As I was inside the home, customer service called me and asked why the movers refused to load and left. I said they were still there and just outside the home. As I walked out the door, they were driving off, they snuck away. We had to scramble to get a uhaul and others to help us load because the new occupants of our home were on their way with their own uhaul. We got it loaded late that night and discovered we did not have double the contracted amount, no where near that. We then got an email from customer service stating that we demanded the movers leave our property and cancelled the service. They would not return our $2,882 deposit and further warned that if we turned the matter over to our credit card company, that we would owe them another $2,000. We have tried to email them through customer service and billing emails 4 times over the past month with no response. We called customer service and they told us the only way to get resolution is to email their billing department, they would not provide us a phone number or anyone to talk with. The movers tried to extort us for more money directly to them, they snuck away leaving our family at a huge hardship, they lied about why they left, and now they refuse to return our deposit. They violated the contract on multiple terms and are not responding at all to our concerns.Initial Complaint

This company will not take us off their caller list and have been calling from different numbers multiple times a day for weeks now. We have asked numerous times to be removed for their lists, told them we have already made the move and they continue to harass us on a daily basis. Even blocking the numbers doesn't stop them because they call from all over. It is pure harassment at this point and taking time away from our lives and professions as it is extremely disturbing to be called all day every day. They have zero respect or professionalism and no matter what we do or say they will not back off.Initial Complaint

I have been receiving repeated marketing calls from United Moving Company, despite my requests to be removed from their contact list. These calls have become frequent and disruptive. The callers are often belligerent and refuse to transfer me to a manager when I ask. I have explicitly requested to be removed from their marketing list on at least a dozen different occasions, but the calls continue. These repeated calls are not only a nuisance, but they also feel harassing. I work from home, and these interruptions disrupt my work. I also consider this disregard for my requests as unprofessional and disrespectful. I would like United Moving Company to immediately remove me from their contact list and stop all further marketing calls.Initial Complaint

This has been the absolute worst experience we have ever had with movers.We contracted United Choice Mover LLC for a cross country move. Falsely identifying as United Vanlines, a reputable company.Immediately they had a wonderful team of movers ready to move our things from MS to AL to hold until we closed on one home and moved into the house in CO. I paid for a deposit and a second deposit since our home items had to be in storage since the closing date changed in CO.I paid for our things to be routed to ******* per United Choices suggestion and then to final delivery to CO Feb 1. ******, the boss/owner of the movers (whom they would not identify the name of their *** said there is no storage place in AL, that he has to leave our things in CO. And that we had to pay now the final payment for them to find a storage to leave our things or to leave them on the street.When I called ******* at United Choice Movers LLC he became aggressive and hung up on us. I contracted with united worldwide moving company through a broker to move my household goods from household goods from ***** to *********. When they showed up they did not use blankets on any of my furniture which according to the broker was supposed to happen; therefore causing damage to most of my furniture. They showed up with a truck that wasnt big enough so they had to bring an additional truck the next day. Once they had all of my furniture, they obviously increased the price due to the fact that the quote was only for one truck. When I couldnt raise the money over the weekend, they threatened to charge me storage fees when the contract stated they would store for 30 days for free and then wanted to charge additional money when I did come up with the money and they rescheduled delivery. Once my goods were delivered, it was only one truck so much of my furniture was missing and what I did receive was damaged. I have filed a claim but the phone number I originally contacted the claims department on now says they are not the claims department and will only send them an email but will not give me a phone number to them. I asked for a supervisor but was told there wasnt one there but could have them reach out to me. She didnt verify any of my information so I am not very hopeful for a return call. This is the worst and most frustrating company I have ever dealt with and the government must do a better job of regulating these criminals!Initial Complaint

I paid this company (****) $1,192.00 to move my belonging to another state. When I tried to cancel my move and requested my money back, he blocked me. I have been calling the numbers on the website- nothing. Everything about this "business" is fraudulent. I just filed a police report. STAY AWAY!
