    I placed an order on November 8, 2023. I have ordered from this company several times before and knew it could take 1-2 months to receive my items. I waited until January 30 and hadnt heard anything so I reached out to the company via email. They responded the next day that they were behind and that they would be getting my order out in the week and a half but saying that was a rough estimate. I didnt receive a shipping notice or hear anything else so I emailed again March 17th. I didnt hear again from them so I emailed again March 20th asking for them to either refund me or send what I ordered promptly. They responded saying they were escalating my order and I should receive it soon. I didnt receive anything again so I reached out yet again on April 11th asking them to make it right by giving me my refund or sending my products immediately. They wrote back finally on April 19th saying I should get my order soon. I reached out again on May 21st after not receiving anything or any shipping confirmation. I never heard back.

    I placed an order on 6/10/24 hoping to get my father some goodies for Fathers Day. I have yet to receive anything other than an email with order # and I have tried to send 2 emails asking for tracking info and both times it has bounced back saying its not a legit email and cannot receive emails I tried to call one of the 2 numbers online and one goes to a blank vm that is full and cannot receive more messages. The other number is no longer operational. My total order was $37.19, although its not a lot I am still upset about this situation

    I placed an order on Dec 9, 2023, and to date it has yet to be delivered. I have attempted to contact the business a number of times, in which they have promised to ship the items but nothing has been received as of yet. I have now been forced to escalate this as it is clear that they have no intention of fulfilling a paid for order. No refund has been issued either, after requesting it on multiple occasions.People need to be warned against placing orders and/or this business needs to take down their website, or shut down their payment portal, so nobody can buy from them anymore, in case of the business being permanently closed.

    On October 3rd, I placed an order with The Cape Grocer for a total of about $200. At the time, their promised turnaround time on their site was 20 business days. On November 7th (which was past the 20 business day ****** I emailed the company to ask about the status of my order since I hadn't received a shipping notification yet. They told me that they would sent an urgent request out to their warehouse, and that the shipment would leave the next Tuesday/Thursday and take a week and a half to arrive.I still didn't receive anything after that, so I emailed again on Nov 22nd. They told me that the shipment would be sent directly to me and would take 3-4 days to arrive. Still nothing after that, so I emailed then again on Dec 5th, and again on Dec 11th when they didn't respond to the first email. They responded and told me that shipments have been delayed, but I would receive my order soon. I gave it a few more days, then reached out for a refund on Dec 14th. To this day, I haven't received the refund or heard back from the company.This has been exhausting and annoying. I placed the order almost 3 months ago because I wanted to have the items in time for Christmas with my family, but here I am still waiting on a refund or the package, and the company doesn't care at all to make things right.

    Order nr 12909:I ordered some goods in September of this year. According to the website, orders take 15 - 20 business days packing and 4 - 6 business days shipping. I waited almost 3 months to receive the order, and never received any confirmation that it had been packed or shipped. I reached out to the company directly back in November, and they made promises to send the order but that never happened. I asked for a refund 2 weeks ago, and have followed up with the company too, but have not received the refund at date of this complaint.

    I really dislike ordering from Cape Grocer because I know their service is awful. I have received half shipments in the past with zero communication and had to nag them to refund me (Well I asked for my products but they chose to refund me for the items they left out instead) - they clearly don't care. I have had some packages ship in great time with everything I asked for so there's still some hope in my mind. I spent over $200 on an order in early November and have heard absolutely nothing from them. I have tried emailing - they ignored me. I have tried calling and left voicemails - no call backs. I just truly think this company could not care less about their customers. As a ************* who struggles to find these products anywhere there's little choice in vendor. Disappointing and embarassing that a company from my home country behaves in this way.

I have attempted to contact the business a number of times in which they have promised to ship the items but nothing has been received as of yet, including a tracking number for the item. I have now been forced to escalate this as it is clear that they have no intention of fulfilling a paid for order.

    I ordered items from the cape grocer on May 12 2023. After waiting for 4 weeks without them sending me a tracking number I decided to email them. They replied saying they would send my items the following week. I still havent received the items they promised. I have emailed them multiple times with no reply after the previous promise of sending out my items promptly.
