Just woke the plumber up from sleeping on the roof. Had been here for 4 hours and had to snake the drain down the vent stack because we don't have a clean out. Was thankful for the time quoted as being here in an hour as tenants wanted to shower and it's 630pm on a Friday, hour and a half later arrives and at 1030pm I find him sleeping on the roof. We had people waiting with their doors open so he could plug in his machine and couldn't leave their place unlocked, people needing to shower, people who had to go to the gas station to use the bathroom, and this soulless man thought a nap and arguing on his cell phone on speakerphone on my roof was the best way to spend all of our Friday evening. The reviews on here are fake when you click to look at all the reviews they've done. When you present the coupon at the end they tell you that you needed to present it first so they can jack up the prices.

Excessive charge.I was referred to Plumbing Experts by a friend for a leak detection.Over the phone I was told leak detections range from $199 to $499.The technician automatically had to use some equipment to find the leak so I figured it would be closer to the $499. He wasn't able to find the leak at first using the equipment, so he had to start opening up some drywall. On a side note we already knew the baseboards and drywall were soaked and were going to have to be removed so it wasn't a big deal. He had to open up 4 small areas in the wall until finding the proper manifold. Once the last hole was opened, within 3 minutes he was able to see water coming up from the slab within the wall.Since the leak is now a slab leak they added an additional $3800 for "Line location and Isolation".Now they never found the exact location of the leak, but they capped of the supply line. So the total charge to find and cap the leak was an absurd $4200. I have called them multiple times but they stand by this price. They say this is a flat fee.Now if they had to dig into the concrete slab and fix the pipe underground I might understand, but for 4 hours of labor to cut open a small amount of drywall how can any reputable company stand by that price. They say I'm paying for their expertise in leak detection but this charge amounts to at least $800 an hour of labor.I had to pay this since I was "under the gun" and had to stop the leak before more got damaged, but since then I've spoken to many plumbers and they are all appalled at that charge for that amount of work. Most have given estimates in the $500-$1500 range. They quote over the phone $199-$499 for leak detection, but I guess thats for them to come out to your house, see water and say you have a leak. If they had told me over the phone that any cutting into drywall was an additional $3800 I would not have used them. I knew from just looking at the wet walls that was going to be needed.Stay Away. They are Thieves

This is *******************, Owner of the Plumbing Experts....I personally called and spoke to **************. I explained to him that all of the prices quoted to him are written in our Price Book.************** forgot to mention that all of the prices quoted were quoted and discussed before any work started. ************** also failed to mentioned that he agreed to the prices before the work started, and he signed the Work Order/Invoice approving the work to be completed - the prices were on the invoice. ************** also failed to mentioned he signed our invoice stating that "he acknowledged the "satisfactory completion of all the above described work." .....in writing.************** also admitted to me that he agreed to all of the prices and that the work should be done.*************** gave our tech their credit card information for payment when **** left the house.Plumbing Experts ran their credit card for the work completed, and for the amount that they agreed to orally and in writing.************** also admitted to me that "he made a mistake" when discussing this entire matter.I declined to refund ************** monies since he tried to change all of the facts in order to get a refund. Plumbing Experts does thousands of service calls every year and we stand by our work and warranty all of our work - but we are not going to be tricked by a customer who has bad intensions, or who is going to change all of the facts of the transaction - and who is trying to give us a bad name - that is not going to happen.... Plumbing Experts stands behind all of our work and we have been doing that for the past 46 years.......*******************
