In november 2021 Destin glass took down my old mirrors that were in the house, and replaced them with new ones in January / February 2022. Mirrors upstairs started to have spots just couple months in, bevels are crooked, overlapping, downstairs mirrors are left unfinished, one whole wall is not done. Ive attempted to call Jeff at the company numerous times, he stopped taking my calls. It was all paid for ahead of time. At the time of install, the workers mentioned that they usially only do shower stalls and they have no idea how to install mirrors ( thus the outcome) they came at 5PM stayed till 10-11PM, I had to clean after them Well after midnight, one of them was aggressive and kept breaking the mirrors on purpose, because he had long way to go after the install, also causing damage to the ceiling and brand new paint job on the walls . In July 2022 someone called at 9:30AM to tell me that they are on their way to fix the damage, without any notice, sadly that day Ive had doctors appointment 25 miles away, so Ive declined. Ive been trying to get them to come back to fix it ever since, to no avail. I wish they would come back and finish the job. I even came up with a solution for downstairs, to take down the unfinished mirrors around the sliders. I cant even put curtains up until its finished, so My living room is exposed like a lit fish tank, which makes me very uncomfortable. Email to the owner was unanswered, the manager who came out to the house twice and saw the damage caused by his company ( Jeff Satterwhite) will not answer my calls, nor return my messages. I think the bill was around $7000 which was paid before the installation, so I just want them to repair their own mistakes / damage and do what the company was paid for. I need to put up curtains downstairs which I cannot do, before the mirrors are either finished or removed around the sliders, not to mention the ones falling apart just couple months after they were installed.Business response

To Whom It May Concern:
I spoke to ****** and actually set up a crew to go there and address the issues, but she would not let them in the day they were scheduled. I can't locate her $7,000.00 payment. Please send me a copy of the front and back of the cancelled check. Once the payment is confirmed I'll address the issues and reschedule a crew, Thanks

I am rejecting this response because:the check was sent by John ****** or John ******, blue ****** construction.
please note that saying that I wouldn't let the crew in the day they were "scheduled" is blatantly incorrect. Someone from Destin glass called me out of the blue one Friday morning at 9:30AM and told me they are on their way. Thats not scheduled, thats ad hoc.
I had previous engagement that I had to go to.i asked them to reschedule and ever since then I could not get Jeff to even call me back.

I am not sure who my customer is on this project. The names she provided and the contractor is vague without see a purchase order, contract, etc from her or the contractor, and/or a paid invoice. Once I have the facts and documentation, I can then find a solution to the problem. Please provide this information ASAP and we will get the ball rolling, thanksInitial Complaint

I order all the windows for new construction on 3/2/22 they required full payment upfront and promis me to have my order in 10 weeks today is more of 5 months I ask multiple time for refund my funds they refuse to refund me my money, and every 10-15 days change delivery dayBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/09/06) */ On or about Feb 20, I received a request from a person who claimed to be ***** ****** to provide a quote for windows for him using the take-off from a Lowe's quote he provided. He said he was a builder and was building a house at 3 ******* ******* Road in Destin, FL. I provided him with a quote using Shwinco windows and gave him the projected ship date of 12lo 15 weeks as the factory gave me. These were custom hurricane impact windows and required payment up front. Alex brought the check to my office, not sure who ***** ****** is and come to find out the check was from another company Asap Motors lnc? It is most unfortunately, the supply chain for the window manufactories is still in chaos from the pandemic and they cannot build windows without all the parts from different suppliers. Alex has a ditficult time understanding this nation-wide supply problem and would text or call me and or the factory on a weekly and sometime daily or hourly basis, screaming, cursing, making threats, demanding his windows, etc. He placed bad reviews on all review forms and filed a complaint with you folks also. The windows finally arrived at my shop, I refunded him the profit I was going to make on the job and used my manpower and labor at my cost to deliver and unload the windows and stack the neatly in the garage as Good Will toward him from my company.
