I request backyard ground leveling filling the flood problem still exactly the same. The worse the rain worse the flood ground.

I'll just leave this invoice here . This review is being left by a customer that is expecting a second attempt of filling her lawn with dirt as if it is included in the original job . I recommended originally to not add more dirt as it need drains installed instead of just leveling . Customer called back and would not agree on a highly discounted price to try again, I explained I can't buy dirt for them but I would lay it for free . Customer did not like the idea of paying another dollar .

*** I noticed the draining on the back side of fence that is butting up to school has a ditch that looks like it doesn't not retain the water . The homes are lower than the ditch and it's causing water to rush towards back yard .
*** the attempt made today cannot be guaranteed due to unpredictable natural causes , what was done is an honest attempt at filling in Low spots in back yard to prevent puddling of water .
** as a professional I do not recommend adding more dirt if this doesn't fix it , if that happens adding more dirt would make the grade of the foundation to home lower than back yard .
I do not see a way to drain water because of utilitys and regulations of HOA

I was recommended 15 yards of filling soil with the estimate of $1800 including 15 yards of filling soil and labor and if were needed more the 15 yards of soil he will charge me only the 50% of each extra loads of yards of soil needed until leveling the area but never mentioned the rental of equipment. I agreed. The day of project the soil amount spread in the area were 10 yards because he said it was well done with 10 yards. He discounted 5 yards of filling soil dropping the price to $1625. I was not completely sure was properly leveled. I mentioned to him I need those 5 yards in the middle of the area because was needed. He said the area was fine the way done that time. I asked him if still seeing collecting water I will call him to get the other 5 yards previously included in the original estimate. He said there were no problem. The problem persisted and I call him asking the other 5 yards previously included in the original estimate and he mentioned me he has to rent the appropriate equipment to fill the area and I had to pay $699 including equipment and soil. I said I was not able to pay more money for 5 yards when I'm not sure if that amount would be enough to correct the problem and pay equipment again. I know it will need more the 5 yards to finish correcting the problem but I agreed to pay the amount of extra load of yards of soil with 50% discount of each truck of 15 yards if I have to do it. I have pictures of each single rainfall since then. The problem its worse because during heavy rainfall the water collected extended to other properties backyards near mine.

Customer has been notified that I will bring the amount of material she is requesting and she will not be charged any labor on job , only what the cost of the dirt is going to be .

I spoke to lawn barber and first agreement was 15 yards not accomplished at the project day. It was filled with 10 yards only. Lawn barber ofered to me to pay 50% of extra truck of yars of soil and I agreed on it. I was the one that mentioned to build some ditches on the side but never received a feedback on it. He charge me $500 to refill with the 5 yards not included in original agreement. But I called the company selling the truck of top soil and 18 yards cost me $185.00 and 10 yards Cost me $355.00. And I don't agree to pay $355 for 10 yards. I don't have other choice only wait to see after raining.
