Said he be back in 2 week and finish job. When I call they kept saying they were on backorder. When they came in they would call to install them. Never heard from them. I call in February of this year (2024) asked if I could have my refund for lock. They said that it had to go to board for decision. Call back in 2 week. I did and they act as they don't know what going on.

      6/2/2023- had this company come out to fix my garage door because the spring snapped. They said I needed to 2 new springs and 2 drums. They were extremely rude and finished replacing parts and left their garbage from their truck on the side of my house. This was garbage from another job not from what they worked on. The very next day we were supposed to have a party for my daughter with a lot of kids. The garage door broke and got stuck and was off the track. I called them to come fix their mistake and they refused to come out even though it was a safety is*** for the kids. We call the office multiple times to have a manager call us back and they never did. I hade to call another company out to fix what they broke (one of the brackets on the door snapped, the cable broke and the door was bent and new springs(again)). The new company informed me that Lakeview did not install the springs correctly as well as used the wrong springs and they also stated that the drums did not need to be replaced like they said. To fix their mistake cost me another $1500. I have disputed the charge on my credit card for lakeview multiple times and they refuse to take responsibility for what they did. If I dont get a refund my next step is to get a lawyer and *** them for what I spent with them as well as what I had to spend to fix their mess up.

      2 transactions: 1/14/24 for *****; and 3/14/24 for ********; we called the company, they came to house, said garage door torsion springs needed to be replaced; they replaced springs which did not need replacing with smaller springs, inappropriate for the heavy door; we left ******* and returned in March; garage door failed and came crashing down, almost hitting my wife; we called, they came back and said needed a new opener, and we deposited ******** on 3/14/24; they used a sub contractor to install the new opener, who told us the original springs were fine and the new smaller springs were not appropriate and cost around $ 200, not $ *****; the new opener cost $ 600, not $ *****;

      I had the company come out to do an estimate on my garage. They priced it out and then I provided a down payment in cash and received a receipt. When a different company came out the individual said I did not need a new garage door, and the one they sold me was not as good as the one that I currently have, and all I needed was new springs. They then were going to get approval to get the springs and use the deposit, however they never came back. I called several times in order to try to get them to come out and just replace the springs and they do not respond. I still have my receipt and asked for a refund and have gotten no response. I spoke with small claims court and they said the amount was not worth the cost. I am over the age of 65 and feel I was taken advantage of.

      -Search internet for local company to fix my garage door on 9/5/23 -Found Olympus Garage Door Repair (phone number ************ -Website said it was a local company serving *********, ** -Called and set appt for morning of 9/6/23 -Tech arrived, said service call was $200, plus I needed new spring -Showed me a photo on his phone of new spring with price of $721 (I think it was $721. He says it was $738)-After working for a while he came back and said I needed new cable rollers. He did not give me a price on these. I ok'd -When he completed work, he presented me with a bill for $2151.-I objected as he charged me twice for Springs. He quoted me $721. Not $721 times 2.-I asked him to change bill. He would not. I told him I would call his office to take care of issue.-Tech spoke very broken English. It was difficult to understand. I noticed he put $ sign at the end of the numbers instead of the beginning of the numbers. Said his name was baL. The last letter was capitalized instead of first letter. -I paid with credit card. I probably should have had him call his supervisor while he was here. I did not. That was my mistake. He told me to call him if I needed anything else. -As soon as he left, I called his office. I called the number he gave me. I explained my issue. They said supervisor would call me. I received no call back. I called tech's number he gave me. No answer -I called office again. Complained that no supervisor had returned my call.-I looked at website. It shows that for the services I received, there were discounts. I was not offered any of the advertised discounts.-I believe this company is a scam company. The website says name of company is Olympus. Phone number is ************. Website says number is ************. Bill says company is Garage ************* Phone number ************.-I tried to find address for the offices. There is no address that I can find.-I believe I was scammed out of at least $738, plus the advertised discounts.

      August 1, 2023.Contact this company using ****** search for garage door repair. Dispatcher number is ************. The company sent two repair guys, and they arrived in private vehicle.They said immediately after looked at my garage door opener that it needed to be replaced and not repaired. They brought a *********** opener which I later found out from my regular garage door repair guy that it costs about $160 in the stores. They said the unit installed is $850 which I agreed since I am not aware of prices.After about 45 minutes, they called me back out to the garage, and said it's done but the garage door is too heavy and need to have better springs. They said $ two springs, each $325, plus labor so another $700.After about 30 minutes, they called me back out to the garage to pointed out that I needed the rollers for the garage door since I have not replaced them since the house was new. And the two drums that were running the springs, they are too small. So now, the drums are $125 each, and the rollers are $45 each, and there are 10 of them.After another half an hour, they finished and presented me with an invoice showing the name of the business as Lakeview Garage Repair, ************, no address, which should have been a red flag for me. The 4 charges were added, and crossed out. He then wrote below that $2560.00 which was the wrong total amount.The amount was charged to my credit card which I am disputing. I researched the cost and found out I was overcharged and ripped off. The springs that they put in were smaller than my unbroken springs. I then scheduled for my regular repair company, D&D Garage Doors repair to come out still to look and inspect everything. The garage opener failed to operate after one week. And my D&D repair guy came out the next day that I called them August 9, and said the whole job should be $750.00. He will come today, August 11th to repair and make sure everything is working for us.

      We had an almost identical issue as the last complaint. We had a minor repair needed on the garage. We felt as though we were being overcharged and after looking into it that is exactly the case. Estimates online for repair or closer to $150 but they charged us at least double that. We would be none the wiser if the same issue didnt happen again in just a week. We called the service and was told that sold a call us back that night. That did not happen. We called again the next day and still no one has called us back to repair what is supposed to be a lifetime warranty. I think this company is a fraud.

      This company came to look at my garage door opener on July 11, 2023 to ONLY provide an estimate for repair. I was at work and my daughter met the repairman at the house for me. The repairman removed the broken spring without any authorization from me or my daughter and then charged $137.50 for it. I have left messages for the company without any response, so am now filing a complaint.
