July 24, 2023, Lakeview Garage Repair came to replace a broken spring. The serviceman didnt have a duplicate replacement and installed smaller cheaper springs. We werent informed what the charge would be, except for the $275 labor fee, until he finished. He charged $1208 to my credit card. The card shows payment was made to Garage and Gates. We had no contact with that company. Neither they nor Lakeview Garage Repair is a licensed ******* company. The reputable company who originally installed the door would charge $550 for the same product we got.Initial Complaint

July 19th 2023. ******* didn't put in the garage door as promised and didn't get a permit as needed by the ****************. He is not trustworthy and would never recommend him.Initial Complaint

Date: 6/29/23 Zack ***** number ************ Boss ***** number ************ *********** represent itself as SAME Day - " Garage **** Services." - ************** The garage door motor was broken, and needed to be replaced. Total Bill of ******.**** always asked for CASH for the work being done. When I paid HIM, i WAS GIVEN a different Company name as LAKEVIEW GARAGE REPAIR.**** did NOT do the Electrical Wiring Correctly as **** disconnect my ADT system. I told him about it, and he put up his hands. And said, I don't take care of that, and walk away.I was out another bill to ADT ****** dollars, my ZACK ********** This LAKEVIEW GARAGE REPAIR does Not have an Occupation License 2- This ********************** does Not have a License in Lee County ******* 3- This ********************** does Not have business License in ******* 4- It is ILLEGAL to perform any Electrical work in Lee County ******* That means that LAKEVIEW GARAGE REPAIR COST ME ****** DOLLARS, THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE A BILL FOR IF THE WORK WAS DONE CORRECTLY.Garage **** Services.- NO LICENSE / NO BUSINESS LICENSE, ILLEGAL TO RUN A BUSINESS FROM YOUR HOUSE WHEN YOU CALL THE **************.And, they represent their self as SAME Day - " Garage **** Services." - ************** And, give you a different company name as Lakeview Garage Repair.THE COMPANY IS PROBABLY NOT PAYING AS TAXES TO RUN THIS BUSINESS!STAY AWAY AND RUN FAR WAY FROM THIS COMPANY, AS THEY WILL BREAK ANY ELECTRIC WIRING FOR YOU, AND HAVE YOU PAY SOMEONE ELSE TO FIX THEIR MISTAKE WORK!Initial Complaint

The service was to repair my garage door. The service was performed and I paid for it with my **** account that day. The date was 4/4/2023. I was given the company phone number *************) to call by a prior customer. The company was called ************************* researching the equipment installed I realized I had been charged five times the cost ($750), had it been purchased at any hardware store ($150). The item was a garage door opener. The horsepower was rated less than what is recommended for my door.Calling the phone number of the company got me nowhere. I spoke with a ****, who said he would inform management about my complaint. When asked for an address, he said they dont give out addresses. That was 4/5/2023. I left a message on 4/6/2023 asking for a callback, but never got one. There is no other way of reaching the company since they have no address available or website. The repairman arrived in his private vehicle, no company truck or company identification. The service call took one and a half hours. The parts cost $150. In effect I was charged $950 for labor. The bill was $1100. The Receipt for the work is for Lakeview Garage Repair. My **** account shows the money going to Garage and Gate.Bottom line, I was way overcharged. Company provided a repair on garage door Jan 11 2023 for just under $900. Technician stated the repair would improve and correct issue. 45 days later, problem back and just as bad. Two technicians who have responded to calls did nothing, requested addtl pay, and were unprofessional. 5 phone calls, 3 messages and phone number left with number provided has resulted in no higher level manager returning call, no resolution, and no recourse. I'm attaching 3 documents. The first is an explanation of what happened, the second is a receipt from them, and the third is a letter from the credit card company with the name for the name on the credit card transaction.
