Date of transaction: 4/24/24 Amount Paid: $272.70 Business was committed to resolving the check engine light on my vehicle. After paying for the diagnostic evaluation, I was informed that the issue was a result of a small leak on evac system and that the recommendation was to replace the fuel cap. The service was provided but the issue was not resolved. Within less than 24 hours of receiving service the check engine light came back on. I made several attempts (emailing and text messages to service advisor ************************ and leaving voice messages with the Service Manager) to contact the dealership and have received no response back.

I brought my car in for service had an appointment set up for AC service. I told the advisor ***** the issue with the car he proceeded to tell me they had to do evac service which it didn't need. ***** was mad that I brought to his attention there was a discount on his price he quoted at time of write up. At the same time I was trying to negotiate buying a new car in the sales department. Sales was upset I didn't take there deal .The car was in service for over 3.5 hours and ***** never gave a diagnosis from the issue I brought to his attention. if He just wanted to charge for a service and waste my time and money. The system was not leaking freon. When it's cold in the morning and blows hot midday. I have denied charges on my credit card for faulty and non performance of services. I have tried to call the service department to rectify the issue and they will not call back or try to remedy the problem.

************************ brought his vehicle in for service on Saturday 04.20.2024 at 9 am. He had an AC issue. While his car was in service with technician working on it he was looking to possibly trade that vehicle in. We came to term and were able to help him buying a vehicle from us. There was a service ticket of $319.96 that got closed HOWEVER from the beginning of working his new car deal we had agreed to pay that money back to him. His deal just got finalized few days ago and he will get his reimbursement check in a few days. I am very disappointed for ************************ making a complaint Knowing he was getting that money back. That was the original plan from the getgo!!  In the attachment you can see on the paperwork everything was documented with managements signature.

I recently purchased a 2022 Honda Accord Sport from this Honda, the bumper had a gap in it and the was rattling that the salesman said is probably just something loose in the spare tire area. Come two weeks later, the car is already in repair for suspension items and to remove a piece of the bumper that came down on me while driving on I-75, one of the most dangerous highways in the states. When I went to them about it, they told me the entire bumper is aftermarket, mind you, the bumper was what sold the car even the sales manager stated this. But after the fact I was informed they wouldnt do anything for it and I couldnt give my car back when pieces are already falling off less than 500 miles and two weeks into ownership. Im 20 years old, working over 40 hours trying to get back on track in school and I couldnt rely on a franchised dealership to make sure i had a reliable car that wouldnt fall apart while i was driving. The staff expressed theyd feel the same but talked to me as if I was ill-informed or ill-intentioned when I was explaining why this is a distressing situation for me. Not even two weeks in my car is literally falling apart on me. A car I went from loving to the probability it was a terrible decision. They even tried telling me that carfax cant list everything, then changing their word and stating that its official as it gets. So they told me my car could have been in an unlisted fender ****** but since the carfax says its clean, take back everything they just stated. Couldnt even call and update me on my car, I was forced to call them and argue my point when I did.

    Good afternoon,

****************** came to our showroom on February 19th 2024 and purchased a PREOWNED  2022 Honda Accord with ***** miles. This vehicle of his choice was sold to him at a very aggressive price with passing the safety and maintenance inspection process by our service department prior to his purchase. Vehicle was is good shape at the time of delivery. about 2 weeks after the purchase ******************** came in with some concern about the bottom of his bumper being loose. We took a look and ************** discovered a lower valance ( lower part of the front bumper ) hanging from the bottom. It looked like the bottom of the vehicle was hit due to road hazard or.....  We cut the bottom piece and put it together for him. Not sure at this point what he is asking us to do, however replacing his bumper is NOT an option. We helped him clearing and cutting the bottom piece for him. he bought a reliable vehicle with with NO issue and we hope he enjoy this vehicle.

    Thank you very much,

On October 6th, 2023 I went to Coconut Point Honda to purchase a pre-owned ****** Maximum and trade in my 2020 **** Explorer *********** was **** and he told me that the ****** was at a different Honda dealership. They called the bank to notify I was selling the ****. Some manager said that the bank said you can sell the **** but would have to lease a new car, you cant buy a preowned car. **** brings out a car that I didnt even choose. I tried to go for a test drive but the car had little to no gas which we had to turn around immediately. The manager said this would a great option because I would pay the negative equity off, save on monthly payment, gas, and insurance. The manager told me I would have to give some more money down $2k wont be enough. I said I can do $3k and he said okay. **** comes back and says we can get your payment down to $492. I eventually get handed off to ***, the finance manager. He is then entering info on his computer and tells me Ive never done a deal with ********************* before sorry its going to take a while. I proceed to sign the paperwork. Afterwards I go to pay the down payment and thats when they said you owe $8.4k. Because I signed a contract and havent dealt much with buying a car I felt obligated to pay. I didnt have that money so I had to use two credit cards then my debit. I didnt even receive my paperwork. Weeks later I received a letter from the bank saying you cancel insurance for your **** but still need to keep it. I went to the bank to discuss that I sold it and they said yes it shows you did and now financing a Honda civic. I said no it should be a lease then explained the process. They said the dealership lied and I was able to buy a preowned vehicle. They also said to go back to see what can be done. Today November 4th my mom and I went to speak with the General manager. He then brings in **** and ***. Theyre saying they did tell me it was financed and the down payment when thats not true. At the end the ** says there is nothing he can do its out of his hands.

Mr. ********************************* came to Coconut Point Honda on Friday October 6th to purchase a vehicle.

After appraising his trade and looking at his situation, our management team informed him we wouldnt be able to help him with that vehicle because of his negative equity on his trade. We then offered him a possible solution to get him out of that situation and get him in the NEW vehicle if was able to put some money down. He test drove a **** Honda Civic and he liked it. He decided to put an $8,400 down payment because he had a desired payment he wanted to reach. Our Finance Manager (*********************) called ********************** mother just to go over the numbers and make sure ALL is well, and to ensure he felt good about the deal we were offering him. ******************** then used 2 different credit cards to split the down payment and took delivery of that vehicle the very same day. He was happy when he left our showroom.

About a month later after he purchased the vehicle from us, ******************** and his mother came to the *********************** and wanted to return the vehicle, get his trade, and $8,400 down payment back. That deal was funded with the bank the same day ******************** signed the contract at Coconut Point Honda. We offered him to trade him out of that vehicle and he said no. Unfortunately, the option of trading him out was and is the ONLY way we can help him out at this point.

    Respectfully,

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

What one of the managers informed me was they got off the phone with the bank and supposedly the bank said my only option was to lease a new vehicle. Then explained how this would be a great way to save money. I got into the Honda Civic to go for a test drive and once I turn out of the dealership the gas light turns on which then I had to turn back. Wouldnt consider that a test drive. I did not decide to put $8,400 down and wasnt told that was the amount required to put down. If I was told this, I would have walked out immediately because if I had that money, I would have just used that money towards the negative equity and not get into more debt. I was in *********** and was directed to call my mother for the insurance policy we had on my trade in and to email that to him. But never did he go over the numbers with her, it was only for insurance purposes and she can vouch for that. After I was directed where to sign by *** he brought me over to pay the down payment which then I was first told it was $8,400. I used two different credit cards because I didnt have the money as I told them numerous times. It was about three weeks later I received a letter from the bank stating I reinstate the insurance on the 2020 **** Explorer Platinum(my trade in) since I canceled the insurance because I sold the ****. I went to the bank the next day to question the letter. Thats when I found out the dealership financed the car rather than leased it. I then explained the whole car buying process to the bank and they said they lied to you, we would never say you cant buy a pre owned vehicle and asked to see the paperwork. I said I never received my copy and they said to go back to the dealership and speak with the general manager. Had *** done his job and gave me the paperwork, this would have been resolved sooner rather than later, because we wouldve noticed the car was financed instead of leased. I truly feel they took complete advantage of the situation I was in and took that opportunity to take as much money as they could from me. Now to say they offered me a trade out and I declined is false. My mother can vouch for that as well. We would have questioned the details and process of a trade out.

    Sincerely,

    *********************************

I received an email from this dealership, offering an early end to my lease, and putting me into a new model with no money down, while reducing my monthly payment by $75. I went to the dealership offer in hand and was told they could not do anything for me "sorry". I left a message for the General Manager asking for an explanation, and he has not returned my call. This was a bait and switch.
