My wife and i went on a 7 days cruise to the carribean and the ship could not stop on the bahamas private island and stuck on the ship for 3 days. The steak served on the evening was precooked and when asked to have it medium rate they always gave you well done and hard to eat. My main complaint is that we went to guest services and requested to have hotel service charge removed because we would pay the room attendant separate, they forgot to make the adjustment. When I asked for the onboard account statement it showed that they did not removed the amount of $224.00 as requested. We tipped the workers cash and they went on to charge us additional. I have been on other cruises in the past but this is the first time with MSC cruise and the last for going through and unpleasant and disappointing experience. I even call to follow up to no avail.

DO NOT BOOK AN MSC CRUISE. We cruised on MSC Meraviglia from 2/16/25 - 2/23/25. We were unable to make our first stop at Port Canaveral due to poor weather conditions. What we weren't told is that was the port that we'd get our provisions. We ran out of food, alcohol AND water. The food was disgusting (even before we ran out). If you eat at the buffet, you're basically just looking for the least disgusting thing on the buffet. My last night there I ate french fries and rice. We couldn't wait to get off the ship to get a real meal. We only got to stop at 2 of our ports, on a 7 day cruise. For the inconvenience of missing an entire port and running out of food, alcohol and water, they offered each stateroom an $100 credit to use on ship. We had 4 people in our room, so their resolution was to give us each $25. In my opinion, that is an INSULTING offer. I've been on many cruises. The appeal to taking a cruise is the amazing food and drinks. We had none of that. I have never regretted spending on a vacation until now. I believe MSC Cruises owes me a partial refund due to the terrible experience provided.

For your own sake, please do not book with MSC. They do not respect their loyal customers. We are seniors. I am a cancer patient who has been now on an ongoing 1.5 years treatment of chemotherapy.Until now, every year, we travel with MSC. Alone or with family members. In December 2023, we booked 4 rooms at the yacht club for us and our adult children. In December 2024, we toured with my sister and brother-in-law for 7 nights. During the trip, I booked a 4-night sail for March 2025 for me and my husband and deposited $198. As a result of the chemo, I have "chemo brain" and was relying on an reminder email from MSC for final payment. It never came. Today, I called to find out about it and I was told that the payment date was Jan 27 and that my reservation was canceled. I was ready to pay fully today and reinstate the trip, but I was told it was impossible. I explained that I accepted the $198 loss but would like to book again with the exact terms of discount and credit that I was offered before, and I was told there was nothing they could do for me. Spoke to two agents and received the same answer twice. I will not book with MSC again. They lost a very loyal customer. Is there any suggestion for another Cruise line that treats their loyal customers better?

Disappointing Experience with MSC Cruise I recently sailed with MSC Cruise, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The main attraction of our cruise was a visit to their private island, which we were unable to access due to weather conditions. However, the irony is that on the day we docked, the winds were even stronger, yet they managed to dock without issue. This inconsistency was frustrating and *********** make matters worse, when I approached the manager to discuss the situation, I was met with a complete lack of willingness to resolve the issue and empathy. There was no offer of credit or discount for missing out on what was supposed to be the highlight of our trip. The manager's indifference and the company's failure to accommodate or compensate for this inconvenience left a sour taste in what should have been a memorable vacation.I expected better customer service and accountability from ********** and am disappointed with how this situation was handled. I typically travel with large groups, in this case, we were 11 individuals, we will take our business elsewhere for our next cruise.

Urgent Appeal for Immediate Refund and Compensation Due to Double Booking Error Dear MSC Cruises Customer Service,I am writing this letter out of pure frustration, heartbreak, and desperation. I am a student, and I have worked tirelessly for months doing DoorDash to save up enough money to surprise my single-parent mom with a cruise for her birthday. This cruise from **********-**** was supposed to be a rare opportunity for us to spend quality time together, to celebrate her, and to give her a well-deserved break. But thanks to an error on your end, this dream has now been turned into a financial and emotional nightmare.MSC Cruises charged my account $413.78 due to a double booking. Originally, I made the payment with my debit card, but *** claimed it didnt go through and called me the very next day. Your team convinced me to use another card and assured me that the original payment would be refunded. You promised me I would get my money back, but instead, I have been left with nothing, and no one is willing to help. Ive called several times, desperate for a resolution, but every attempt to contact you has been met with no *********** a result of this double booking, I am now facing an even more devastating financial situation. Im from ********** and was planning to fly to ***** for the cruise, but with the money you took from me, I can no longer afford the flights. And now, because of the last-minute change, the prices for flights have soared far beyond what I can afford. This is a cruel and unnecessary situation, and its completely unfair, especially when MSC Cruises has shown no care or consideration for the stress and financial strain youve placed on me and my family.I am beyond frustrated, but more than that, I am heartbroken. My mom has worked so hard to raise me, and I wanted this trip to be a special surprisea gift for her birthday, and our first-ever cruise together.h.t swiftly.Sincerely, ******* *****

Complaint Summary:Damaged luggage during disembarkation and no response to complaint Complaint Details:A few months ago, I took a cruise with MSC, and during the disembarkation process, one of the wheels on my suitcase was broken. I immediately followed the protocol provided by *** to report the issue, filing a formal complaint on-site. I was assured that the matter would be addressed.Subsequently, I sent an email with all the required details, including the reference number of my complaint. However, months have passed, and I have not received any response, acknowledgment, or resolution from MSC.This lack of communication and accountability is highly disappointing. As a paying customer, I expect *** to handle such issues professionally and provide timely resolutions.Desired Resolution:I would like MSC to take responsibility for the damage caused to my luggage and offer a resolution, whether through compensation or repair/replacement of the damaged suitcase. I request a prompt response to this matter.

We booked a 7-night cruise for our Babymoon and it was a huge disappointment. We spent more than $2,500 for blood stained pillows and a shower that leaked during every use. It left huge puddles all over the bathroom. There were rust stains that showed its been happening for a while. *** did nothing to fix the problem when we brought it their attention. Additionally, our room attendant only supplied us with exactly two towels during each room cleaning. We had to call guest services daily to have more delivered, most of which went to cleaning up puddles on the bathroom floor. On two occasions, we spent hours of our vacation waiting in our room for their technicians to fix our safe and our telephone that werent working. Terrible experience overall. Would NOT recommend. *** is a waste of your money and time.

Avoid the upgrade program. I was sent the email for it and I was interested, but I wanted to clarify whether or not the bid would be an additional charge or a difference of what I paid vs what I bid. There was no clear wording that said it was going to be an additional amount and the values that I could pick from were all more than I could have originally booked the rooms of that type for. I called and asked and I was told that I would be paying the difference between what I paid and what I bid, so I made a bid. I won the bid and got notified that I was charged for the full bid despite what I was told on the call with customer service. This is clearly not fair to me as I did everything right to make sure that I wasn't doing it wrong and I would not have made the bid if I had the correct information. After I saw that I was charged extra I called to ask about it and I was told repeatedly that the upgrade is done through a third party business so there was nothing they could do and that it was non-refundable. I understand it's non-refundable, but the company was in the wrong by giving me the wrong information and it's their name on the program. I asked for the contact information for this third party company and I was told to respond to the email. I did, and it bounced back. There is no way for me to contact this third party to even try resolving the issue. At this point and from my experience it seems like this upgrade program is a scam so please don't fall for it. I don't want anyone else to have to go what I went through.

So disappointed in this cruise. My husband and I just got back from a 7 day cruise which was very needed and the word disappointed doesn't even cover it. 1: We could not access a beach at the first 3 stops, you needed to pay for a taxi to get there and rely on them to pick you back up in time to make it back to the ship. (too scared to risk missing the boat) 2: You could only charge things to your room (no cards were accepted to pay as you go) so we were overcharged several times and took 3 visits to guest services to get resolved. 3: We were woken up every morning at 7:30a by banging and a grinding noise. We tried to wait this out but by the 5th day we complained and was told it was maintenance. 4: Prices for drinks were outrageous. 5: Food was subpar. 6: Boat was very difficult to navigate. 7: We were charged for gratuity even though we had prepaid that so it was a hassle to get those charges removed. This was just more stressful than it was worth. Will not book with MSC again.

Please do not do business with this company. This is the worst customer service experience I have had in my life. I took me more than 6 months to get my money refunded. I went on a cruise in Mar. of 2024. To make a long story short, I was supposed to be refunded $1,100.67. It took until Sep. of 2024 to finally get it refunded. I contacted a supervisor in Post Cruise Support, **** *******, who was useless. I emailed and left voicemails for the CEO as well as VP of Post Cruise Support. No answer. I emailed the *************************. I began drafting a lawsuit and was finally paid back, minus the .67 and all of the many hours I spent getting this resolve. They are HORRIBLE and should be out of business.
