    On January 23, 2023, my husband emailed MWR to cancel our membership with them. He received a confirmation email that they had canceled the account. However, we were still being charged $52 per month, in the months following. I contacted MWR support on May 19, 2023, asking them to stop charging our bank account and requesting a refund for the $156 that had been taken from our account for the past 3 months. They did not try to resolve this issue, instead claimed they "do not have a $52 charge" and never responded to any emails following. They have not taken any action to stop these charges and never issued ** a refund for the money taken from our account and have instead ceased communication with me to resolve this issue.

    i was scammed out of $150 for a service to fix my credit. After signing up and paid the amount I was never able to sign in again. Called customer service they stated that I would be able to sign in the next day.Next day came still couldn't sign in, website doesnt work, customer service number not working properly.Waste of money!!!! DO NOT COME TO THIS COMPANY! I called to get my money back no success!!

    On 11/04/22, I was charged $99.97 for the Financial Edge Membership and on 11/07/22, I was charged $50 for the Financial Director fee. Then on 11/09/22, access to my back office/portal was blocked by the corporate office without any formal communication. I then called their customer support only to be told I had to contact the president of the company. After speaking with him, he claimed there was no reason for my access being blocked, yet he never followed up with me nor was access reinstated. When you achieve certain rankings, you are supposed to be paid a certain amount of dollars per day. In this case, my earnings randomly stopped on 11/17/22. Again, with NO formal communication as to why. I followed up with both the president and the corporate office and have not heard back from either. This is very UNPROFESSIONAL and UNETHICAL considering when you pay the total amount of $149.97, youre supposed to be given two things in return: the Financial Edge Membership AND access to the Financial ******************** and all of its tools/resources. I have requested what would be considered fair, which is either access to the two things mentioned above or a full refund of $149.97. Neither of which has been rendered.

    The statements in this complaint are not accurate. **************** was informed by the President of our company that her account was temporarily suspended and under investigation due to a violation of our policies and procedures, of which she agreed to during our enrollment process. It was brought to our attention that **************** was engaged with a competing company that provides similar services to ours, which is not permissible.  During any investigation of this nature, it is our policy to suspend access to the Representatives back office and freeze commission payments until the investigation is complete. **************** also had access to myself or the President at anytime to resolve this.  Our President spoke to her about the situation and it was confirmed that she was engaged with the other company and was unsure of which company she was going to choose.  She was then informed that we need to know her decision ASAP to resolve this, of which we have yet to receive other than the complaint she filed here with the BBB in attempt to make us look bad for her own violation of a policy she agreed to and failed to comply with from the beginning.  With that said... We have issued **************** a Full Refund of $149.97 today for her last month and we will allow this communication to serve as formal notice that her position with MWR Financial is officially terminated.  *********, ******************** - CEO

    I requested credit repair services since June 2022 and that no one had responded to my requests. I shared that I would like my money back for joining and they gave me a free month and they did not do anything in that time. At this time NobodyI reached me back out and requested that my concerns.I feel robbed for that institution.

    The statements made in this complaint are completely false and we feel Ms. ******** is attempting to use the BBB as a tool to try to force us into providing a refund that she is not entitled to, which will not happen. She has also been in communication with our staff several times, which is how she was offered a FREE month, as a courtesy, that she pointed out in her own complaint.  Our staff clearly explained to her that Credit Restoration is a FREE benefit of our membership, of which she agreed to and understood when she enrolled. We submitted the information necessary to dispute her credit issues with all 3 credit bureaus, and we even resubmitted it. She was also informed that we have no control over whether the credit bureaus respond to disputes we submit to them directly, and that we would be more than happy to send her the disputes, so she could submit them herself, since she kept claiming we did not, which is untrue.  We have all of the documented proof that we completed the work on our end and all of our calls are recorded with Ms. ******** to back this up if the BBB would like to review them for further clarification. WIth that said, we will not be issuing Ms. ******** a refund and we request that the BBB require proof of these type of accusations before allowing consumers to unlawfully make illegitimate claims that can defame legitimate companies like ours publicly.  MWR has helped tens of thousands of consumers improve every area of their finances, not ***********, with tens of thousands of testimonies to prove it and we feel people that make false claims to game legitimate companies like ours, should not be given a platform like the BBB to do it.  ************************* House - CEO

    I reached out to share that I have tried to request services several times and that no one had responded to my requests. I shared that I would like my money back for joining. I also said that I would like to cancel my membership. I expected to be contacted to address my concerns first. I was immediately canceled and told that I did not follow the protocol and would not be getting my money back. I reached back out and requested that my concerns be addressed prior to just cutting me off and taking my money.

    This is not correct.  ****************** did request to cancel and was not entitled to a refund because her request was after her 3 day right of recission period and she did not complete the steps required to qualify for our 30 Day Money Back Guarantee.  Her claims to need assistance without receiving it are also not correct.  Our Staff responds to every email and answers or returns every call and there are no records of any missed calls or unanswered emails from this client in our system.  If ****************** would like to attempt this again and follow the appropriate procedures, we will be happy to give her 1 month of membership for free and I will personally see to it that one of our staff walk her through the process, since her sponsor apparently did not.  Sincerely, ******************** - CEO

    This company is a company that provides "Financial Services" to improve your overall wealth. They provide two main ways to become a member, one as a user of their services and the other is as a member who is able to have our own small home business by "recruiting" other people to sign up for their services. You serve as a member who convinces other people to come watch a presentation where you are sold their services and provided an opportunity to sign up. The issue comes with the lack of transparency the business provides to members. They are very secretive as to how they are providing these "financial services" until you sign up, once you sign up you interact with an online interface that is not user friendly and lacks instruction. This makes the system hard to navigate and the results were mediocre at best. They provided a product (W-4) that would not load on the actual page and had to spend time and effort to retrieve. Additionally, the product provided was useless to help me gain any financial advantage from it. When I reached out to cancel my membership I was told that the 30 day money back warranty was not able to be honored because I did not complete some financial action plan with in the first ***************************************************************** trained on how to accomplish this financial action plan. So the services was misleading in their advertisement of their warranty and does not do well to provide transparency and training to get people off to the right start. This business operates a lot like a pyramid scam and I would like to ensure that others do not fall for it as I did.

    Everything said in this complaint is a blatent attempt to use the BBB as a tool to get a refund that **************** is not entitled to.  If at any point she had an issue accessing our plan of action or using any of our services, which are all designed to be extremely user friendly, she could have very easily used our chat feature contained on every service page, called our support line which is also displayed on virtually every page of our site, and or used our Ask An Expert feature which is also included on every service page. Not to mention, she could have contacted any one of several Financial Directors in her upline, as well as, her sponsoring Financial Director.  She also does not understand the difference between a legitimate ***************************** and what she refers to as a pyramid scam.  MWR has serviced tens of thousands of consumers who are clearly able to follow simple instructions and use the tools we provide.  This has also produced tens of thousands of testimonies and success stories of real people, using real experts to get real financial results.  I'm sorry **************** was not one of these people. However, her lack of willingness to take responsibility for her own lack of action is not grounds for a refund and the manner in which she attempted to use the BBB to access a refund fraudulently eliminates any chance of that happening in the future.  Sincerely,  ******************** - CEO
