Dear Better Business Bureau, I am writing to formally file a complaint against **Professional Parking Management (PPM)** regarding an unjust parking citation I received on 3.2.2025 at ********************************* for $115.00. After researching the company, I have found numerous similar complaints against them, and I believe they are engaging in deceptive and predatory business practices. ### **Details of the Issue:** - On 3.2.2025 at 6:41 PM I was issued a parking citation by *** despite the fact that I was **sitting in my car the entire time and never actually parked**. I was only stopped temporarily because I was lost and trying to find my way. - The ticket appears misleading, designed to look like an official government-issued citation when *** is actually a private company with no municipal authority. - *** has made it **difficult to dispute the ticket**, providing no clear means of contacting a real representative. Their appeal process seems deliberately complicated to discourage disputes. **Larger Concerns About PPM:** - There are **numerous consumer complaints** about PPM engaging in similar behaviorissuing questionable citations, using aggressive collection tactics, and making disputes nearly impossible. - A **class-action lawsuit has been filed against PPM** for illegally accessing drivers personal information and issuing deceptive citations. - Their locations have overwhelmingly **negative reviews**, with many customers reporting the same fraudulent experiences. **Requested Resolution:** I am requesting that the **BBB investigate PPMs business practices**, as they appear to be operating in bad faith. I also kindly request that my citation be dismissed and that consumers be warned about their predatory behavior. I appreciate your time in reviewing this matter. Date: 03/15/2025 - 03/16/2025 The lot had no one at the entrance stand, inside there is a city pay by phone module which I used but I received this letter saying I have to pay 90 dollars for parking there. Recently I have become aware this company scams people and uses predatory practices to charge any vehicle that enters the lot by taking pictures of their tags, I have been told this company has lawsuits filled against them due to their unfair tactics, I have also learned that their collections company is owned by themselves. On February 14, 2025 I parked in a lot in ***************. I used my Park Mobile App and paid the appropriate amount for the correct zone 8504. I have a receipt on my app for proof of payment on that date. On February 17, 2025 (3 days later), I received a notice from this company, Professional Parking Management, charging $125 for non payment claiming I did not pay for parking. They provided instructions to dispute this charge. I followed the instructions and emailed my receipt/proof of payment. I received no response back on my dispute but then received multiple threatening emails and a SECOND notice of failure to pay in the mail. This company is fraudulent and trying to scam money. I will not pay them ANY amount of money, as I correctly and legitimately paid for parking on that day and have proof. I will continue to report this business should they send any further notices to me on this matter. Please advise.Initial Complaint

My car was breaking down and I had pulled into one of there lots to fix the problem on my car. I was in the lot for no longer than 30 minutes. After I was able to get my car started. I left the lot and then 2 weeks later I get a letter in the mail that I owe them 115 dollars. I think that is ridiculous of them sending me this bill.Initial Complaint

This company "Professional Parking Management" sent me a Parking Charge Notice - Final Notice, for parking charges of $85 for 3 hours of parking. The site where I parked is managed by a company called 12 ***** Parking Services. I called the company and the business location where parked and learned that they do not have any affiliation or relationship with Professional Parking Management. This is clearly some kind of attempt to defraud and our abuse consumers. I am also concerned that the invoice is clearly manipulative given the "Final Notice" reference when no other such invoice has been sent previously. This is a clear attempt to manipulate persons to pay the amount without question or challenge.Initial Complaint

I paid for parking at ********************************************. I paid at 2:10 Pm for 4 hours of parking. I received a notice of non compliance from this company saying I left late, charging $115, using deceptive language (not calling it a parking fee or a citation and also urging immediate payment). I parked at a ************* parking lot and shortly after received what appeared to be a citation from professional parking management. They demanded $85 and a $5 processing fee with the option to pay promptly and get a discount to $45+$5=$50 for overstay.I paid for the parking session using the advertised app. The parking lot was dark and lacked proper lighting. It was around 11pm and I was the only car at the lot (I guess everybody else are aware of the scam). Many parking lots don't charge 24/7 but they apparently do. The only thing is that usually there is a sign at the entrance. At this case, even if there was a sign, the lot had no proper lighting for this time of the night, so I had no idea where to find the terms and conditions which should be available for the public.I tried disputing it with the company using their website but surprise surprise- the denied it.Classic scam of scaring tactics- intimidating customers with collection companies.They should remove the charge.I highly suggest to never use their services!Initial Complaint

This company is mailing me a parking ticket after charging me for valet service at a restaurant called The Optimist. It has happened at least 5 times now and I imagine the same notices are being sent to every guest who valets there but does not live in the garage. The company needs to work with their local partners to stop this practice, I informed them of this issue with their system many times. It is harassing and poor business ethics to knowingly engage in this practice, since some customers will just pay the ticket without question of get collection notices on their credit.
