  Advents Air Duct cleaning came to my house, Sunday June 30, 2024 to do Advents Air Ducts cleaning package for $149.00. *****, their representative at that time, told me I had a major mold problem in my air system. Because of this problem he could clean all the ducts & spray each with a powerful product that would prevent further mold problems. I agreed to pay the $1300.00. At that time I felt a great sense of relief. *****, being a great salesman, said he could install an ultralight system that would last 4 years, but it would cost $3600.00. After more convincing, I agreed. Why o why did I consent`! I asked for more information about the ************** said it would be sent, yet it never has arrived. I have kicked myself many times because at 77 years old, I have been duped and really feel "stupid". So ******* so called apprentice, went & got the necessary equipment. ***** had the apprentice start the process of installing the ultraviolet system, while continuing to tell me more about it. To this day I have yet to receive the information or a receipt. Repeated calls to Advents are still unanswered as Advents continues to do business with different phone numbers, some of which I have. However on Saturday, October 19, 2024 I received a call from Advents, I have the phone number, regarding one of my calls. I asked to speak to her boss, get their email address & mailing address. She told me she could not provide me with any information over the phone. Hindsight, I should have had someone come to my home. I regret the missed opportunity. Advents is a moving target & very elusive, especially from other complaints. In less than 5 months my home is worse than it was previously. I have lung cancer & must get a "mold specialist contractor" here immediately. I can't wait. What else can I do? I've taken pictures of all the vents but I'm still breathing contaminated air. I've discovered mold in many rooms now. BBB please use your resources to stop this company. Thank you

  SCAMMERS!!! Dont call this people they have a coupon to clean your air ducts and your dryer vent for 99 dollars I call and ask just for the dryer vent cleaning the lady on the phone said it was 75 dollars so I agree and when they came they gave me the run around how to clean the vent was going to be between 195 to 225 just for the dryer at the end they just vacuum cleaned the back of the dryer and I pay them 75 for a job not done!

  Bait and switch! We paid for the "$79 Special" and "Josh" tried to strong-arm us into a $4800 "deal." When we refused, he continued the the high-pressure sales offerin slightly lower price options. No dice. Next time, we'll use Stanley Steemer or another reputable company.

  An hour after the tech was supposed to arrive, I called. They said I had the time wrong. But he would "check the recording" then changed said it was for a 3 hour range. He then called the tech, said he'd be here within the hour. I said I would give him 1 hour. Then the tech called me from a number halfway across the country, said he would be here in 20 minutes if I were going to be home. I clarified the time I had agreed to wait, he got ugly, so I said just cancel the appointment. He hung up. I immediately called the office again, attempted to tell them what happened, and he said he'd already canceled it, then hung up.Please note, people, do not deal with these liars.

  BIG SCAMMERS: I called to make an appointment.. Exactly 15 minutes ago, they canceled my appointment saying that their machine broke down.. I asked them( after waiting for 20 days) when would be the reschedule and the lady said September 3, I guess I got super lucky reading those bad reviews and maybe they found someone that were able to do whatever they wanted.. I had to work and because are not a serious Company, i suggested not to waste your money with ADVENTS PRO air duct cleaning.. Watch out!!!

  How is the company in business and not shut down for scamming people. They told us we had Black Mold in our A/C ducts. Was trying to sell me a UV light for $495. I said no, send me an email with the breakdown. Never received an email because I'm sure he already knew I was not going to fall for it. Yes he went behind my dryer and did nothing except unhooked the vent and never hooked it back and now it cost me a new dryer. Could not figure out why my laundry room was so hot and the dryer was very hot. Pulled out the dryer he never hooked the vent back up. Oh he said cash or check we gave in cash $75 sure it went right in his pocket. I did call and told them the story and she (****) said so sorry I will have my manager call you back. Will not allow me to put the phone number on here but I will tell you they are from the ************ area.. BUYER BEWARE!!!

  They told us we had Black Mold in our A/C ducts, and it was obvious that my husband & I are disabled & sick, so the Rep scared & pressured us SO much, that we had the ducts & vents cleaned. When we asked for pictures & the receipt numerous times, they would Not comply. We paid $3900 for this service, and cannot claim on our HO Insurance without proof. Being on a fixed income, this cost has become more than we can bear, and our funds are diminished, including food!! I truly feel that we were taken advantage of because of our age and illnesses!!! We have NO way of re-cooping this money now, and still unsure if we are safe enough to breathe the air! We can't afford to have another Contractor come out to check. Shame on them for taking advantage of us, or anyone else who has been forced by fear!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

  What a scam. If the coupons sounds too good to be true, then don't bother. The tech came to the house made me excited because he kept saying the house was going to be so clean. My excitement ended quickly. He did the dryer vent first. He did the exterior line but never pulled out the dryer to tackle from inside. He went after a brand new AC unit and began to tell me how the unit was faulty and it was full of mold. He started offering all these extra services including a UV light. I politely declined and ask for him to do the vent cleaning. He got annoyed with me and started arguing with my husband on how dangerous and unsafe it was to be in our home. I asked to just clean the vents. He said it wasn't worth his time or health to be in such a dangerous house. I had a coupon for $120 for a dryer and air vents. He said I owed him for the dryer vent $77.44 and left abruptly. This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had as a homeowner.
